We loved the whole 50's/60's theme of the hotel. Our room came with a balcony and a butler. The attention to detail was amazing. From fresh towels at night to weather forecasts the staff try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel's location is good if you want to be within a walking distance to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue. Although we didn't try the spa, the fact that it was sponsored by Elizabeth Arden made it interesting. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was small. The location near Times Square makes it very difficult to get there by car.
Staff, decor, location, opulence
Good hotel, friendly staff and great location.
The room size was half of the indicated...
Service from staff, furnishing of room, location
Location ...frindleness of the crew ...super clean ...
Comfiest bed ever. Lovely linens and gorgeous pillows. Really quiet. Fresh coffee from the lobby each morning. Loved it.
Nothing, really. We had a very small room with no view - BUT we got an incredible deal so really can't complain...
Beautifully appointed hotel full of Art Deco charm. This hotel will not let you down and the pictures on the website reflect the very high standards of fittings and furnishing.
Telephone system didn't always work room to room and remote control drapes were also a bit hit and miss. These aspects in no way detracted from the overall enjoyment of our six night stay.
Staff is very attentive and warm. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the rain shower head is great and the entire bathroom overall is great. A really nice room overall. We received a very nice room upgrade even though we did not book direct with the hotel or Starwood - thank you.
We were on the fourth floor in a suite, and Wifi was nonexistent in part of the suite. We were told that the signal does not carry to that part of the floor. There is no reason why more routers or repeaters could not be added to fix this.
Good location that is close to Times Square without all the noise. Concierge was very helpful.
Not a thing.....
Good location Good food Great decor Comfortable
Room was not ready at check in Service in the restaurant was slow and not attentive Missing small comforts like tea and coffee in the room which are nice for a long business stay
Location is great. In mirror TV is really nice. Service is excellent and overall experience was really enjoyable.
There were too many gadgets near the bed. Seemed to be a few different ways to set an alarm and was confusing. The controls for the curtains did not work very well. Overall great with few items in the rooms needing amending.
From the minute we arrived to the minute we left all the staff treated us like we where the only guests, they were fantastic, always said hello, always smiling, nothing was a problem when you needed something, The room was absolutely perfect, it had everything you could possibly need, it even had heated toilet seats, which was a nice treat, the lifts were fast, the food in the restaurant was delicious, and the staff there are brilliant. The hotel is right in the heart of the city but when your inside it is so calm and relaxing that you think it must be quiet outside, it is perfect, I took my partner away on a special occasion and I wanted everything to be right for her and it was, she had a great time, you can shop all day and just drop your bags off during the day as it is so close to everything, The concierge even take your bags up to your room so you don't have to keep taking the lift up and down, All in all, this is the place to stay in New York, I reckon you would be daft to stay anywhere else, if you want the best, stay here, I did a lot of research before I visited this city and im glad I did, I will definitely stay here again
Nothing, everything was exactly how I wanted it to be
Pierre, the Concierge, is just AWESOME. From now on and until he's working there no need to look for a hotel in NYC.
Great, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms.
The Hotel seemed hidden away. Small swimming pool.
The service and friendliness of staff was outstanding Will definitely return and recommend
Meal service at the Lambs Club Bar upstairs was a bit slow
Very good location in the middle of Manhattan.Stylish bathroom with a heated toilet bowl and large walk-in shower.Free coffee in the lobby
quite dark in the room.I missed a furniture in the foyer:there are no place to put your bag or hang your coat Nevertheless, one of the best hotel i have ever stayed
Wonderful boutique hotel. Fabulous bathroom! Comfortable bed.
Lovely hotel, Art Deco style, fantastic staff ( without being overwhelming, most have studied at Hotel school in Switzerland at Reception). Very good restaurant. A mezzanine in which they have jazz singers on certain dates. Close to 5th Avenue shopping. I came for business and was able to conduct many meeting at hotel. always somewhere a quiet place.Perfect!
No view from the Room
great location for theatre
very expensive, as is everything in NYC
One of the best hotel I never stay!, great charm and elegance.
staff were fantastic, rooms funky and clean. beautiful bathrooms. loved the small touches like chocolates left for us in the room and the make up towel. The heated toilet was an experience!
rooms not very well lit. walls of our room were really thin so could hear people next door and don't think they were overly loud.
