    Overall, decent location next to boardwalk. Wi Fi costs extra. The hotel looks a bit old.

    They don't state anywhere that you have to leave a deposit when you check in. They blocked a deposit on two of my credit cards. At check out they didn't unblock the deposit.

    breakfast

    monday-room not cleaned-changed room. that night air-conditioner did not work and fire alarm went off around 11pm, no one came to check and front desk wouldn't answer phone. Tuesday morning changed room again.

    Nice view, and rooms. Huge shower and comfortable bed. That's pretty much it though

    Room seemed dirty, staff was rude and charged my account for parking that never happened. Also, a $125 security deposit is something they should tell you prior to

    The nice part was the location close to beach, and easy to walk to other places.

    the closeness to the board walk the staff at the front desk and big mike the concierge are extremely helpfuly

    They are so unorganized when it comes to booking and billing. When I checked in they didn't have my room. When I uprgraded to the room I booked on Booking which was the Oceanview it was way smaller than the city view room. They have no refrigerator or microwave. When I received my invoice for my room the day if checkout it read $14,000 for a 2 day stay. I went to check out and had to waist time disputing this mix up. They held two deposits on my credit cards and that's another fight with that. After that was resolved I left and went home to NY. I I waited for my deposits to hit my bank account and when I called them they said they charged me for something I didn't buy that belonged to another room. It was a horrible experience there are many hotels please don't go to this one. It is not worh their price tag

    I hated it

    I didn't like anything about staying at this place. The staff is really rude, the place was nothing like on the pictures, the bed and pillows were so uncomfortable plus the AC is to noisy that i couldn't sleep! The pool has nothing to do with the pictures they show on their website, even the private beach they have i had to pay for umbrella and chairs. It is definitely not worth it the money you pay for this hotel. I would never come back again.

    Polite and helpful staff.

    The first night I had to call the front desk from my cell phone because the room phone and TV didn't work. Maintenance came within 5 minutes with another phone and fixed the TV. Wallpaper was peeling in above a window and in the bathroom.

    It was sort of an ocean view (tiny window facing the beach, big window facing the Trop). Very comfortable bed.

    Poor room service (no bread, no condiments) medium grade food. Clumsy valet process. There was a leak during the storms, but from where it came in (middle of the curtain track) there must have been an open window upstairs. Only a single head shower, and very poor pressure.

    Location. Room decor.

    Everything and everyone else. We decided to valet on our arrival day and we asked specifically if on day of checkout we would be able to keep our car parked after we checked out. We were told sure that it was no problem. (Found out later that this was not true). On checking in I asked for an ocean view room on the highest possible floor. I was told that they could accommodate us and we were taken to the 14th floor. The room was nicely decorated however there was damage to walls where it appears there was a wall ornament that is no longer there additionally there was some gross water damage to the ceiling and wall paper tearing. All of this and our room was not truly an ocean view... more like a partial ocean view... not very honest in their business but we are not complainers and we came to have a good time. The next day we ventured to the 5th floor pool which is nicely done. The problem is the chair assignments. .. Some less then accommodating guests seem to run the show and monopolize the space to which the poor attendants did not know how to handle. Service was not offered to all pool guests and not all guests were offered lounger cushions... This was not too upsetting as they seemed filthy and bacteria laden. Wanting to experience the other amenities we ventured to the 1st floor pool and found the experience to be a stark contrast to the other pool area it was as if we were at a 2 star motel filthy pool. Dirty, disgusting, and not maintained. So we decided to head over to the hot tub area. We found our way before we were rudely stopped by the spa troll. She barked that a spa pass was required. I politely noted to her that we were hotel guests and we did not need passes ( mind you this is the assumption I came to based on the hotels marketing online as hot tub being available to all hotel guests on their pool page of their website. She noted that no that was not the case and I must've read that on a 3rd party website.

    bed comfortable

    not located on the beach like the ad says there is a Days Inn Hotel you over look, you must check out at 11 sharp, had to pay $15 for parking then was told to go to another parking lot and you will pay $5 the parking lot attendant said it was $10 for the price on the stay parking should have been free. if you wanted chairs and umbrella for the beach you paid $15. Lobby needs to be redone. Female bellhop located by the entrance was more concerned about her cell phone than answering any questions or offering help. pool was small didn't use it.

    The location was excellent and everything in the room was as shown on your internet info. We will certainly return if I am able to travel.

    They forgot to bring my car down after handing in the ticket. After ten other cars were dispatched I complained and they found the "ticket" on the board. The gentleman was very apologetic and sincere. He said he recalled taking the "order" himself.

    Right by the boardwalk which is nice and they have a nice pool.

    Last year guests of the hotel were able to get free chairs and an umbrella on the beach. This year it cost 15 dollars, which is disappointing. Also parking costing 15 dollars a day upset me.

    the bed was comfortable and the bedding was plush, clean - plenty of pillows (King room Oceanfront), towels were very nice, it had a walk-in "rain" shower. I booked with booking.com and specifically was looking for oceanfront with king bed. Love the location, just off the boardwalk but oceanview. Didn't realize there was no casino but that probably kept the traffic (pedestrian and vehicle) down in the area. Located @1 block from the Tropicana - who's amenities were very nice. I would use the Chelsea again but pay better attention to the price I pay knowing now of all the extras that will be added.

    The Wi-Fi sign in was hit or miss. Our 11th floor hall smelled of smoke.The hotel entry area smelled of trash or smoke. Valet parking only. The décor was dated, details could have been repaired (cracked decorative panel over the refrigerator, dents in the bathroom door, bathroom exhaust fan didn't work, lobby area had trash and well worn furniture) no clothing hangers, one bar of soap for bath and sink use, no in room coffee. $13 for room service coffee along with valet fees of $14/day, luxury tax, state tax etc. that added up to an additional $83. Multiple other guests complaining loudly re: no a/c, rooms they didn't feel fit their on-line description.

    You can't beat the location. The pools are a bit small and the chairs on the 1st level could use cushions to lie on, but the atmosphere was good! There are bars at both pools. Rooms are clean,comfy beds but furniture is scraped up a little. All in all, great place especially if you get a deal!

    All the staff were pleasant. Helpful and courteous

    Happy hour should be offered at the pool bar especially during the nice weather. It was inside at the annex restaurant not very inviting or relaxing.

    Rooms were nice,good staff,location was good

    Sunday they had a pool party,plenty of rap music blasting l was on the 14th floor and it sounded like they were in my room,the elevator were framed with people,sometimes 20 or more they would just force themselves in,this was all day long,they were drinking and stank of pot smoke,4 of them were fighting,punching and screaming at each other the whole time on the elevator,I was horrified ❗they were acting up in the lobby and in front of the hotel,I could go on with this,for another 30min..i would never stay there again at any price

    Hotel us clean, staff is friendly, location is good.

    Very long, slow check in process. Didn't get into the room until 4:15. Desk couldn't find my reservation. 5th floor pool bar not open during the week. Mediocre wifi reception. Used to love the private beach with chairs, umbrellas, and towels..along with food and drink service. $15 for chairs and umbrella. No beach service any longer. Lobby furnishings are shabby.
