Every thing about the hotel was nice
We paid extra for a room witha view ,yet our view was of another building .There was no heat ,so a mechanic spend 2-1/2hours fixing it .We were given a $30 breakfast voucher and then I realize my card was charged twice ,I have to wait 3days for our funds to be released........
Room had no heat, needs updated old fashion hotel nothing like the pictures.
The rooms were nice for a remodel, but calling them "luxury" is definitely a stretch. The lobby was nice but again, I wouldn't refer to it as luxury.
We were extremely disappointed in the service, particularly in the 5th floor restaurant. The hostess told us there were no seats (half the restaurant was empty) and to go to our room & order room service. We called for room service and it went to voicemail. We called the front desk and they said the restaurant "wasn't answering anymore because they were too busy". So we returned to the restaurant and waited in bar for to-go order and the bartenders were rude to guests, bickering with one another, and seemed incompetent at making mixed drinks. After waiting more than a half hour, our order was wrong and our food was already cold. It was a very, very poor experience that I would not recommend to anyone.
Check in staff rude
I liked the spa and the food was good.
This hotel charged for everything, parking, food, any and evetything. We stayed the previous night in a hotel that was 10 times better better and the parking was free, complimentary breakfast, 24/7 room service. This was our second stay at the Chelsea, dont believe we will be returning!
The bed was comfortable.
Heat was broken. No hot water. Manager discounted 75 dollars and parking but wasnt worth the time we lost. Will never return. Will never refer.
No hot in the room.
Old and dirty hotel. No wifi access in the room.Charge your card for they can`t even explain due to "computer system is down" reason. Avoid!
The feel, ambiounce location an staff
The party floor was completely empty it We was told it was due to another club in area that opened an was competition for the hotel
I love the decor of the room. It was just like the picture on the website.
The lobby decor was outdated and in need of repair. The were of areas in the room in need of repair as well.
The solarium is a hidden gym! For $15/day, you can get access to the pool, sauna, and steam room. It's definitely worth the price. The rooms are comfortable and clean, no frills. I liked having direct access to the Boardwalk and an on-site restaurant that serves breakfast for those lazy mornings.
The valet attempted to charge us for storing our luggage after check-out, which is usually free at any decent hotel. Fortunately, the front desk staff called him out on it, and we did not experience any further hassle. Also, the rooms are very basic. Don't expect to be wowed if you're a frequent business traveler or high end traveler.
We liked Everything, but especially the location.
This question does not apply, because everything was good.
Our room was spotless. The bathrooms was practically brand new and squeaky clean. That's a huge deal breaker for me. Our king bed was amazing. So comfortable. The spa was great also. My boyfriend had a deep tissue massage and I got a facial we both very much enjoyed it. The boardwalk is literally right outside the door as well as the Tropicana Casino where we did a little gambling and had dinner
they advertised a happy hour from 4-9 which me and my boyfriend were looking forward to but when we went they were closed. No idea why. Our safe didn't work but we didn't even bother to complain. Other than that we enjoyed ourselves very much. ***TIP** If you are booking from a third party be aware that they will tell you that you reserve a room free of charge. Not true! My account got charged for the first day before we even arrived. Not cool. Supposedly the Chelsea has nothing to do with that but I thought that was very odd.
Nice Room, Friendly staff.Check the website for an awesome breakfast special at the diner...Nice diner, great coffee and breakfast!
The room and parking
Very clean resort with great staff
Not much not to like our experience was excellent. We didn't have a great view of the beach and the food wasn't very good.
I love the staff, everyone is so helpful and especially the manager at the front desk. We have been coming there a long time and she is so nice to us everytime we come there
I think $30 is too much just to use the spa. We sat in the whirlpool for like 1/2 hour and I think $30 was too much for that. Also why is your restaurant only open in the morning. It used to be open all day. We wanted to get a cup of coffee in the afternoon and there was no where in the hotel to go.
No Bath.only walking shower Carpet is worn out
Hotel clean, location good.
Parking cost....$15/day, too much. Next visit, will park elsewhere!
Location decor view
Late check-in early check-out time
All the services provided was excellent
the restaurant was only open until 8:00pm and only 4 days. The large bar area was "closed for the season".
