Staff was very friendly and available to help.
Nice location, great view, staff was nice, boutique size room was fine since I was alone and not in the room except a few hours to sleep.
Originally told that the closest parking garage was at 318 S. Federal, not 111 E. Wacker. Had I not known Chicago, would have been too far away. Rooms felt dusty and old. Did not smell, but I felt I needed to clean every surface before I could relax. "Free" bottled water service from old machine with old looking bottles. I would not use.
Great location for the event - got in the room early - no problem leaving luggage for the day on check out. Friendly staff- Quiet-can't ask for much more
the location, the view over the river at night.
Location. Helpful staff. Microwave.
Dingy, shabby, small room. Very poor wifi, impossible to use really. Very noisy air con.
comfortable, everything we needed and great location. We maximized on the 3 days we had in Chicago due to accessibility to all sights.

The location was perfect my only problem was the electric voltage in my room was too low for me to use my hair styling comb Everything else perfect
As above regarding electric voltage in room too low
Friendly atmosphere and small hotel flavor
Elevator operations need repair and service was interrupted
Lighting on both sides of bed.
Would have appreciated a reading light by the easy chair.
Close to the Merchandise Mart
The convenient downtown location and easy access to major attractions. The room is comfortable, clean plus a pleasant riverside view from the window.
Liked the location, the interior/decor and staff service and the lounge offering refreshments, coffee and free wifi
Room is small but efficient - based on other reviews, I was not surprised - just enough for sleeping after walking the town all day - my view was limited but great potential depending on room location. Space was fine for me and hubby not for girls weekend/kids sharing room.
Reception Staff Wifi Location
House Keeping Maintenance staff Cleanliness To knock on the door 7 AM while there is "Privacy; don't disturb sign"
Great location, helpful staff, in a historical building
The water pressure in the shower was weak (perhaps because the hotel is in a historical building)
Everything! The only slight downside was that the wifi was a little temperamental. Otherwise perfect!
Nothing. Great hotel!
Very quiet. The room would be a bit small for a couple but adequate for one person. The room could use some updating but everything functioned as required.
As a business traveler I would not recommend if wireless internet was a must. It barely worked in the room.
Location and comfort of a small elegant hotel
only negative would be the small size of tv
The check in is easy. Rooms clean. Big shower. Close to a lot of the things we wanted to see. Location was very nice! Would definitely stay again.
Parking. The parking garage was full right beside the hotel. We parked right around the corner for $58/24hr parking.
The hotel had a great location, we were able to stroll the riverfront area in the morning and enjoy the architecture of Chicago. I loved the purified water station on each floor. We were upgraded to a suite because they were full, a nice bonus. They have check-in and out down to a science! Ease of use was great!
Unfortunately, our room smelled of leftover smoke. It was strong enough for me to notice immediately, don't know why the cleaning staff couldn't. Luckily we had a 2 bedroom suite and it wasn't so strong in the 2nd room so I could sleep. They did apologize profusely!
Excellent staff handled any concerns. Great central location to all the hotspots. Had an awesome river view and everything was very accommodating.
Finding the hotel was a bit of a bear. Also, by the time we arrived, about 6pm, the on site parking garage was filled and only allowing monthly parking passes in. Not a terrible inconvenience with the amount of garages in the area, just figured since we had a room there parking would be available
The restaurant was quite good and the prices were excellent for the location on the river front.
It was very clean and well furnished
IMPOSSIBLE TO GET TO VIA CAB. literally spent an hour in an uber going in circles. Room was also VERY small for the price.
