hated to leave it was great
I got a great view of the river. The room was comfortable and quiet and the service was excellent.
My friend called me and the hotel's phone didn't answer.
Loved the small kitchen!
It was very cold in Chicago during this weekend and t he heating nor the hot water weren't working very well. The room was cold.
1) Location location location! Easily accessible from the train station and walking distance to many attractions. 2) I thought the room is gonna be super small as mentioned in some previous comments but it's big enough for my mom and I.
Lost wifi connection a few times
The location was excellent for our stay in the Loop. It was easy to walk to Grant Park and all of the places which we had wanted to visit in that area. Room was clean and comfortable. Space was well utilized to make it comfortable despite being a smaller area.
The museum, Watertower place, navy pier, all well within walking distance.
The location was perfect. A lot of traffic noise at 5pm when we got there but it was amazingly quiet during the night (& we were on the 2nd floor facing Wacker)! I love the water bottle stations as well!
Staff were exemplary, helpful and extremely knowledgeable.
The noise of the fan.
Service, everyone was very helpful
The TV was way to small to be seen comfortably from the bed or the lounge chair.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The River is a great location. The room was excellent. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay thoroughly.
Location and overall quality were very good. Valet parking was great and the price a bit high but reasonable for this location.
Staff was not very attentive and elevators were being worked on so very slow. Ice was hard to find (only on 9th floor?)
The combination of facilities, service and value for money is hard to beat. Many extras at no extra price.
The pillows, far to soft
Tania and Pedro at the front desk were warm, welcoming, friendly, helpful. Also loved the details such as marble floors and stair, brass trim, 1920s architecture, updated bath and bed, cold water with bottles on each floor. Many little extras. A great river view.
There was really nothing to dislike, except once I could hear people talking in the hallway.
Lack of fridge and safe
Perfect location, cosy room, good working wifi
Loud and inadequate heating
The staff was so friendly in the hotel as well as the restaurant. Everything was clean and well kept, especially for an older hotel. The room was small, but heck it is an original hotel in Chicago! Bedding was cozy; towels were great quality; and room was VERY clean!!!
Location, staff were very pleasant, water bottles and purified water availability - great, room was pleasant; overall, nice place would recommend
room not as clean as I would have liked, very dusty; and this is small, but the info cards on bed were dirty - not a great first impression, the magnetic strips on cards did not work well (I heard this from other people as well).
Location, Location, Location
Small Room, minimum service.
small but well designed room and the club living room was a nice area to meet up with friends.
Great location, great value, and a very accommodating staff who went out of their way to assist.
location to my meeting venue
bed was not comfortable
Close to everything Being by the river
Not enough water pressure
Concierge Pedro - exceptionally helpful and very likeable. Waiter Constantine - point-on with service and personality. Door porters - extremely helpful and friendly.
nothing...all was perfect!
