Staff, location, ambiance all great.
Noisy refrigerator woke us up - we unplugged and replugged in the morning.
Very tastefully decorated, very nice breadfast. Staff were very friendly and accomadating.
Did not like this first floor, to much traffic noise and commotion on the front porch out side the windows of the room
I loved Steven at the front desk. He was very knowledgeable about restaurants and sightseeing.
Nothing I did not like
Located on the trolley route and walking distance to Perkins Cove and center of town. It's clean and remarkably quiet from outside noise. We stayed in the garden room (727) first floor corner room. From the outside, the Garden rooms appeared like a motel but we were impressed by the room. It was updated, clean and smelled clean (not musty, like I expected) The main building has a beautiful wrap around porch with rocking chairs and benches. Common area has 24 hr coffee/juice, cookies. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great place for a relaxing weekend getaway.
The room refrigerator was very loud! You can hear the people above us. I was woken up by their footsteps. Very annoying. The bed was comfy but the pillows were way too soft. It would be nice if there was a firmer pillow option included with the fluffy soft ones.
the porches and continental breakfast, also the proximity to the beach, Perkins Cove and down town Ogunquit
The time we came the other vacationers were a bit older; I wish we came during August not September. Next year I plan to stay in the heart of summer when there are more younger couples and the weather is a little warmer.
Wonderfully decorated and comfortable rooms and public areas. Close to town activities.
The hotel has recently been refurbished, it was very clean and comfortable. The staff were efficient but not overly friendly. The room was of a generous size and the hotel was peaceful and calm. Excellently situated for the town centre and marginal walkway. A very pleasant stay.would return again.
There wasn't anything we didn't like about this hotel. There was nothing to dislike!
Amazing staff, clean, bright, comfortable. Anything you asked for was supplied. Michelle at the front desk was helpful, informative and available for anything you needed. Enjoyed this hotel
The only negative was access to marginal way
No seating in room
Second floor of out bldg was difficult to get suitcases up long stairway-no elevator and room was not great
The property is beautiful and well maintained. The guest room was beautiful and very comfortable, The staff was welcoming and attentive. We had a lovely stay for the second year in a row and look forward to returning next year.
Staff were very knowledgeable & went beyond to make our stay memorable. The breakfast was more than you would expect. Room & bath were very large & clean.
Had to leave
Easy to walk to beach and restaurants. Staff was very helpful.
Dirty glasses in room when we arrived. Never replaced when we were there. Too many carbs at breakfast. Would love to see Greek yogurt, granola. Healthier choices..
Wrap around veranda with multiple colorful hanging plants, gracious and accomodating staff, well stocked continental breakfast set up. Appealing to multiple generations...great intergenerational family destination
Outer buildings need a little tlc...outdoor carpet replacement needed..
The staff were all very accommodating and efficient. The proximity to The Marginal Way, Restaurants, Shopping, and Beach, is perfect. Can't wait to go back in the Fall.
Friendly and helpful staff, great location to Perkins Cove and the center of town. Ogunquit is beautiful and the view from the Inn and surrounding properties was great. Nice choices for breakfast.
Mattress was way too soft. We sunk into it. With back issues, I need a hard mattress.
Spacious room with tasteful, modern decor and spa-like bathroom. Great location close to town and the beach.
Love old historic hotels, the room was beautiful. Location key. Loved the porch. Bar. Hot tub. Hot tub stays open til 10 pm. They have a shed for bike lockup.
Needed more hooks in bathroom for bathing suits, towels etc. Kids shouldn't be allowed in hot tub.
Neat and clean with a friendly staff, good sized room (superior king) and a comfortable bed. Decent deluxe continental breakfast. Common area is well decorated with a peaceful feel. Beautiful covered porch with plenty of seating...perfect for reading or a pre-dinner drink.
Would've liked to be just a little closer to town. While we could (and did) leave our car parked for the weekend and walk to town or the beach, the hotel was just a little too far to run back and drop bags after shopping or quickly pick up something I'd forgotten in the room. And I would ask to be anywhere other than the first floor as our room (102) had a bit of a fishbowl feeling with one wall of windows opening directly on to the porch and the other situated just above the outdoor seating area used for breakfast. We felt unable to raise the shades and enjoy the sunshine.
Staff, quaintness, location, balcony and beautiful hanging baskets.
I would recommend having another mirror in the room. Having only one mirror in the bathroom made it difficult for three women to get ready at the same time. The air conditioner was also very loud.
We really liked the fact it was central to beach, shops,& coastal walkway. Very nicely furnished & peaceful. The breakfast was good, different breads, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts & always plenty of everything, cute little muffins too. The staff were always really friendly & helpful...a big plus.
The price was maybe a little high but I can't say I have any dislikes as we had a good stay at the Inn.
Beautiful sunny room (301), lots of windows that open for cross breeze, (good A/C but we did not need it) king bed was extremely comfortable, pleasant helpful staff, pool and spa fine, very nice breakfast room and lots of outdoor tables to enjoy it. The common living room/lobby well decorated, bright and cheerful, with a baby grand piano with invitation to guests to play.
No serious negatives. Fairly busy street, but night-time noise levels were either low, or the sea air deepened our sleep. Room 301 is on west side so no sea views at all, but still pleasant views of a tree-lined neighbourhood.
Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.... Great location to Marginal Way... Walking distance to town
Love the Inn Parlor where we ate our breakfast, excellent breakfast, porch on garden room was nice to sit and have a drink with friends.
Having to go to main house for ice.
The hotel was excellent and everything that I thought it would be. My only disappointment was the breakfast which was a basic continental served on cardboard crockery.
I did expect breakfast to be served on china plates with metal cutlery.
