Great room value for the price. We stayed the night before our spa day at canyon ranch. The France's room is the best! Spacious and private and romantic. Also loved the afternoon cookies and the morning buffet breakfast was a bonus. Don't let the appearance fool you! Inside if us very nice and homey. Also as a gay couple we were welcomed with open arms! We hope to stay here every fall for leaf peeping fall folliage. By the way try the restaurant zinc bistro for dinner! Breakfast wasn't the best as its hard to feed so many people at once.

Pretty setting, especially the backyard of the main house; delicious breakfast; convenient location; nice little terrace from our room. Great value. Very nice and relaxed host with good tips. The room was charming but would benefit from some renovations: Settling caused a chest to tilt, and cracks in the bathroom were filled but not in the most professional manner. But that's reaching for criticism.

Good location in Lenox on the main road.Efficient welcome. Breakfast was varied but adequate and service here was poor.Clean bedroom and comfortable bed.Bathroom and shower were good.Daily change of towels. Complimentary tea and coffee on offer with home made cookies. Seemed tired and in need of tighter management. Grubby and old garden furniture, there was a rain soddened cushion on an old plastic chair outside our room-not good for use!.Breakfast service was poor, guests constantly having to ask for juice, milk, coffee etc,- lack of awareness .Good variety of food to choose from. Compared with the other inns we stayed at during this holiday this was the most expensive but one most in need of care and attention. Very disappointed as it was such a beautiful house, furniture, and area.

We loved that hearty breakfast which was really more like a brunch and the colonial atmosphere with the modern conveniences. Very tastefully done. The terrace, the fish pond and the grounds were just lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing. Run down and poorly maintained. All outdoor furniture filthy. Desperately needs some TLC. Plenty to eat for breakfast but poorly prepared and presented. Everyone staying there looked unhappy and disappointed. Almost everything.

Location was good. Kitchen was very worrying. If we had known about the state of the kitchen being used to prepare breakfasts before booking, we would not have stayed at this place. The kitchen was so dirty, the grime around the feet of the kitchen tables, work surfaces were pots and pans and kitchen utensils were being stored were absolutely disgusting and I had the unfortunate seat closest to the kitchen to view all this. I lost my appetite very quickly! Any business in the uk would have been closed down for the lack of hygiene. The attire of the two members of staff cooking and presenting the buffet breakfast were to be honest dirty and dishevelled.

The quaintness of the entire place, from the ingenious layout of the rooms in three buildings. The breakfast was sensational and dining outdoors around the koi pond was relaxing. Not to carp, but the room had a bit of a dampness to it.

The location was good for us, price was right and breakfast was ample albeit a bit late. Breakfast should be readybtongo at 7/7:30. Eightno clock was a bit late for those of us that want an early start . Also, when we were there most of the folks were over 50, we are early risers.

the location was perfect for tanglewood etc. the grounds were very pretty.......i think they need to work on the hospitality, however we were satisfied with our accomadations, parking and most of breakfast... i guess we have been spoiled by bed and breakfasts we have been to. i didn't like paying you more than we would have paid the inn directly.......i guess we won't be using booking buddy again.....we booked an extra day and were still charged your fee

friendly place, nice staff, great outdoor seating areas, location near tanglewood, very friendly guests! almond milk available for vegan guests... not much i didn't like! parking lot was rather poorly planned but that is original i suppose...need a better area for parking when the place is full. the round fountain space in the middle might need to be reduced slightly?

The Cornell pulsates with old New England charm. The location on Main Street creates a walker's paradise;however, the extraodinary grounds, makes one never want to leave. From the moment that you walk in the door, you feel as if you are a very special guest;the one that they have been waiting for. A single night's stay was as rejuvenating as a week's vacation. The breakfast was delightful, and next time we will take adantage of the dinner buffet. Our stay was flawless.

We loved how quaint and homey it was. We stayed in the MacDonald house that was built in 1777 so there was so much history that made this place even more enjoyable. Our room was wonderful; clean, with a very comfortable four poster bed. The fireplace was a nice touch as well and provided additional ambiance. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff very accommodating. There was nothing we did not like. We would book there again.

I liked that the Inn was a B&B. I would always choose them over any hotel because they are homier, food is made to order and the hosts aim to please. It was convenient to all that Lenox has to offer and close to the wedding I was attending for the whole weekend. The price was very reasonable in comparison to many of the pricier ones in the area. I enjoyed my little weekend getaway. It was quiet, peaceful, relaxing and Colleen and Lance and the housekeeper went out of their way for me and my friend on Saturday when we needed an iron and ironing board last minute. :-) When the wedding couple found out where I was staying they made sure that I was one of thge 300 guests that received a special gift basket to thank me/us for attending their wedding weekend! Such a nice surprise!! Unfortunately the Inn had gone into foreclosure four years ago. That might explain the VERY reasonable rate and the closure of the atrium bar area. Not a big deal. Its a nice place. I can see the potential for an even better Inn when and if new owners take over at some point soon. It was a beautiful place. I would definately tone down the green paint color on the walls of my room....lol. (That's just me.....my Nana, my mom and I all had green rooms in the houses we owned....I'm SO sick of green! LOL.

Personal excelente.
