We have recently returned from a 7 night stay at the Cosmopolitan. We got married last year at the Venetian and had came back to Vegas for our 1st Anniversary. We decided to stay at a different hotel and chose the Cosmopolitan because it looked stylish, classy and was in a fab location and had the option of a room with a balcony. The checking in process was very quick and professional. We were offered an upgrade to a wrap around terrace suite with views of the Bellagio fountains for a reduced rate so we decided to treat ourselves and we're glad we did! It was a fantastic suite on 25th floor with amazing views! It was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. We had a fantastic view of the fountains and made use of the balcony watching the displays! House keeping was great and the room was cleaned daily. We had breakfast included in the Wicked Spoon. This was fantastic and had everything you could ever ask for and the staff were really friendly and the service great. We ate at Henry's once which we thought was really nice. We loved the Chandelier bar and found out from a tour guide that this had cost $28 million dollars! We also had drinks in the Bond cocktail bar which had a DJ playing some fantastic tunes and a fab light show! We had seen on previous reviews that this was a bit of a party hotel for the young and we were a bit dubious! We are a couple in our mid 40s and didn't feel out of place at all! Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if we come back to Vegas :0)
Due to us going on the 'off Season' (last week in March) they made a decision to close one of the two pools Monday to Thursday with being open on Friday, Sat & Sunday. As the weather was incredible the only pool that was open was overly full with the only place to sit being in the corner in the shade. Not relaxing or comfortable. However the front desk manager did reduce our resort fee following my complaint.
The room was fantastic. We were upgraded and the room was huge, comfortable and the bathroom with Japanese soak tub was incredible
Large room, balcony with fountain view and friendly staff
Rude and unhelpful staff
extra charges for room and my wife and I didn't like the smoking around us every where in the hotel, coming from the uk it was a bit of a shock seeing people smoking around very young children.
the position was very good
Nothing. Great place.
The views from the balconies The lovely staff The wonderful breakfast buffet
The staff at counter was impatient to non-native speaker. The lobby floor is almost casino. We had no chioce but just pass through it with our kids everyday.
brunch is amazing and included in room fee. Perfect!
The location was amazing and so was the view from it.
Door into room was way too heavy.
Wicked Spoon Buffet was excellent.
Other casinos are better but they are minutes away
Perfect spot - central to everything. Was prepare to pay a bit more to get something special on this trip and chose this because of location, hotel looked cool and balcony over fountains.. Was worth it - something very special about having a drink on the balcony looking out over the strip in the middle of the night!
No coffee and tea making facilities. Microwave and dish washer was in the room but no plates, cutlery, cups or tea and coffee were included. Concierge told us that coffee and tea facilities were taken away because guests left electrical facilities near the basins in the bathrooms - although the hair dryers are near the basins so I cannot understand the logic.
Room was great and I loved the verandah
The resort fees make me angry, particularly when the "included" wifi doesn't work and the hottub closed at 5 pm. Also the marble floors in the bathroom where slippery to the point of dangerous. Seemed strange.
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel felt clean, was central to all we wanted to do, and was comfortable.
Our Room, Great size, comfortable and well maintained. Centrally located on the strip with north and south within walking distance. Nice casino with friendly dealers.
Lousy beds, bad pillows
Location Luxury and decoration Multiple bars Great casino environment
- Cleanliness in room, - the level of professionality of some of the consierges, - poor value/money ratio.
- Location, - speed of Internet
Resort Fee ( compulsory ) After paying the resort fee, the WiFi never seems to work at these big hotels on the strip.
Open balcony Free upgrade Ice skating on the pool Hidden pizza place STK, amazing steak Cocktails and jazz at Rose.Rabbit.Lie Everything is awesome
The reception was too far from our room. The food in the room is too expensive and I would have appreciated a reasonable price. Only one poop was open when I was there
Location, facilities, cleanliness, staff
Location was great Room's were world class, comfortable and a great size All facilities of the hotel were of great standard
Good location, staff is great just a perfect wee stop was.
too much queue to check-in, check-out and even to have to breakfast
great room good casino comfortable location
the rest room are open for the living room, too much noise, and the lights are sharp for the eyes.
There was spoiled food in one of the drawers in my room. And I was put in a handicap room without knowing it. Shower too small and very inconvenient. Much Disappointment
Very friendly staff from welcoming to bar servers. Clean easy access casino. Upscale clientele. Recommend staying there.
construction noise going on across the street. Rooms need refreshing.
We were unable to obtain interconnecting rooms. We had 2 rooms between us which was not family friendly.
We were allowed to stay a 2 more hours after checkout time as our flight was cancelled.
