We stayed 2 nights at the hotel and we enjoyed very much the cottages that are a 5 min walk from the main hotel. It is good for the privacy. Our room was very well cleaned, warm and spacious.

The restaurant was not so good. We don't understand why they kept us waiting so long for a simple breakfast. There is a huge waiting list what is totally inappropriate if you want to make small trips in the area and want to go out early.

Enjoyed the fire place in the room and the private back door entrance to cottage room. Bathroom was clean with good sized tub/shower combo.

First night we stayed the cover for the light fixture in the restroom fell to the floor, there were ants coming from the wall near the coffe maker/ fridge station also around the fire place. The cover and inner mechanics of safe located in the closet constantly fell off, the main lock on the front door was broken, there was a hole in the wall where a prvious tenant opened the front door too wide, the carpet was coming up in several places around the walls: no base boards- very shoddy work and the space for the mini fridge was laughable. The refrigerater was not secured in its space and moved when used: I constantly had to put it back in its place so the door opened and shut properly. One of the ropes to open and close the main window blinds was broken and the shelf in the bathroom which held the facial tissue was about ready to fall off the wall. Will never stay here again- not worth the price even with a good discount!

Walking distance to lodge and activities. The quiet. The cleanliness of the rooms. Just 2mins. from Yosemite. The scenery of the lodge location. Great price. Friendly people working their.All around vacation was great. We'll be back

Everything, from arrival, to dinner, to checkout was well arranged and the cottage was absolutely wonderful. So much comfort en space and of course beautiful surroundings.

I can't think of anything.

The room was a tranquil retreat after a busy day exploring the amazing Yosemite area. The fireplace and the extra ammenities were appreciated. We enjoyed the variety of dining choices available.

We had no problem with the limited parking until our last night. Someone without a parking permit in their window was parked in "our" spot. We got back late that night, so it was frustrating finding a place to park. But overall we had a wonderful experience.

The cabins are located off the lodge grounds and away from the crowds and traffic. Access to the park is an easy 10 min drive to the south gate.

The cabins are cramped and in need of repair. In several places, plaster and paint were peeling from the wall and ceiling. The bathroom fixtures, especially the fan, were old and needed repair. The counter space for the coffee maker (2cups) was extremely small leaving no place to set things down and certainly no place to prepare a snack. Most unwelcome was the fact that they have divided a cabin into three separate rental units. We were kept awake by our upstairs neighbors clumping up and down the stairs, kids screaming and yelling, and TVs blaring at all hours. Lastly, the prices of meals at the lodge were extremely high. Like most of Fish Camp and Oakhurst, businesses hold you hostage as there are no economical alternatives near the park. Count on staff to reinforce that message every time you deal with them.

The smell of the rooms. So powerful . Had to air the room for hours to dilute the smell which made it freezing.

Cottage Room gebucht für einen Aufpreis von USD 25 pro Nacht eine Cottage Suite erhalten. Sehr gemütlich und heimelig eingerichtet (mit Feuerplatz und Balkon). Restaurants und Roomservice einwandfrei.

Pizzeria nicht zu empfehlen. Anfahrtsweg bis ins Yosemity Village fast eine Stunde.

The room was clean and very comfortable. There were several restaurants onsite. It had everything a person would need.

There was confusion about our room.. We were placed in the wrong room. The room number that was given us didn't match the room number on our key. I questioned it and the girl checking us in changed the room number on our paperwork. After we brought up our suitcases and were about to settle in, we received a call in the room from the front desk telling us we were in the wrong room and needed to move to another room. A staff member met us outside to give us our new room keys. Not happy after being on the road for several hours. The room was very nice, however it was noisy. We had a lower unit and we could hear people walking above us, and the toilets were loud. We could hear everytime the upstairs toilet was flushed and the shower running.

Staff was friendly and the proximity to Yosemite was great. They did offer a guided snowshoe hike at night which was very nice and very cheap @ $15 a person.

The room was pretty small; the beds were very hard. The decor was kind of old and a bit shabby here and there. It was also hard to get the heat to stay at a comfortable temp: it was either way too hot or cold. Also, the biggest issue was that the shower was warm but not hot, which is not good when the bathroom is freezing since it has no separate heat! I would stay elsewhere next time. It's expensive for what you get and what it lacks.

chambre cottage très agréable le cadre parfait ! restaurant "fast food " très bon et très bon niveau qualité prix ! piscine jacuzzi sauna parfait la propreté est partout ! cet hotel est juste magnifique luxueux et le personnel très a l'écoute et serviable

Mooie locatie, vlakbij zuid ingang van Yosemite; rustige ligging van de cottages, in het bos. Aan te raden is om in een cottage een kamer te vragen die niet aan de weg grenst: het terras / balkon van de aan de weg grenzende kamers is erg "onvrij". Eten in restaurant "Sierra" is te verkiezen boven "Jackalope's" (menu is gelijk) - bediening en entourage in "Jackalope's" wat rommelig en slordig.

Gelet op prijs van de kamers valt service tegen, mn bij de receptie; bij dergelijke kamerprijzen komt het verder vreemd over dat voor wifi extra moet worden betaald.

Houden niet van skivakantie, en zaten en nu middenin:-) oeps foutje, maar wat een prachtige locatie. Allemaal huisjes midden in de sneeuw. Ivm de kou en geen Passende outfit waren we blij dat het maar voor 1 nacht was, maar absoluut een aanrader voor natuurliefhebbers.

De hotelmedewerkster was zo aardig om ons een upgrade te hebben, maar dit zonder overleg. We hadden specifiek 2 aparte bedden gereserveerd en nu moest de een in de woonkamer op de slaapbank slapen en die had echt zijn beste tijd gehad. Maar nogmaals de ervaring was absoluut onvergetelijk qua omgeving in de sneeuw

Accueil chaleureux Décoration hall hotel, salles restaurants et chambres soignée buffet petit déjeuner excellent ,bon rapport qualité -prix les villas sont agréables et bien aménagées, entourées de forets,petit piscine ouverte jusqu'à 22h

Un peu éloigné de Yosémite Vallée, environ 3/4h de route.

Ideal for a great family bonding that goes back to loving and appreciating nature.
