The Creekside Inn  

Size of room was great,beautiful landscaping,convenient location!

Pool was smallish, no hot tub, minimal breakfast.

A very relaxing facility with lots of trees. The coffee and pastries were excellent. It was walking distance to many places to eat.

I was attending a conference that included a Saturday (as most conference do). I was disappointed that shuttle service to Stanford University was not available until 9 AM on weekends, as my meetings started at 8 AM. I can understand later service for Sunday, but Saturday is still considered a workday for many business travelers.

Perfect place to stay if visiting Stanford. Close to campus, pretty setting, very clean, lots of nice amenities (bathrobes, free wifi, free water bottles, good fitness center, onsite deli, etc.).

It was nice to be able to walk a few steps to Cido's restaurant for a nice breakfast and great latte. No traffic noise - great!

We were on the first floor. We could hear every footfall above us,. The floor above us must not be insulated. It was very noisy. Fortunately the running and jumping stopped around 10 pm.

High quality, good size rooms. Everything you need is there ...

I was surprised when I opened the door to my room because I think I had expected something of an "inn" subconciously. No, It was a complete luxury hotel. Besides the view was beautiful and silent. I liked the terrace. Comparing to my current hotel room which is located in the downtown Seattle and all other hotels in various countries, The Creeckside Inn was the best hotel I've ever experiened. Good job. (and the iPhone cradle/speaker was good too!)

Close to scheduled business meetings

El hotel está muy cuidado, el entorno es precioso y poco habitual en hoteles americanos. La habitación está muy bien y el personal es agradable y eficiente. Además hay un servicio de shuttle gratuito que de hecho funciona como un taxi privado, llevándote a donde quieres en cada momento. Desde luego, no se puede pedir más!

Das Zimmer war komfortabel eingerichtet und sehr sauber, den Pool haben wir genossen, ebenso die Bademäntel.

Ich hatte extra ein ruhiges Zimmer bestellt und bei unserer Ankunft bekamen wir das lauteste des ganzen Hotels (Balkon direkt auf den 8spurigen El Camino Real)! Wir mussten uns sehr zur Wehr setzen, - nachdem es zuerst hiess, das Hotel sei restlos ausgebucht, wurde es plötzlich möglich, im selben Gebäude ein gleiches Zimmer aber an deutlich ruhigerer Lage zu erhalten. Grundsätzlich war das Personal am Empfang wenig freundlich und hilfsbereit. So war zum Beispiel kein Ortsplan von Palo Alto erhältlich, die von mir gesuchte Lage (Wohnort von Freunden) eines Hauses konnte offenbar auch nicht via Internet herausgesucht werden. Sehr schnell hiess es einfach "sorry, no, it's not possible".

I liked the location, nice creek on the territory of hotel and free shuttle that I could take to my company's office. Cibo restaurant close to hotel is OK.

Room is spacious, but nothing fancy, seems an ordinary hotel. Nothing much around. Complimentary shuttle may be overbooked (they only have 2 cars), I had a situation that when I was 7 minutes late for the booked shuttle, they told me aI can't use it any more as now it will be late for some other hotel visitors -- what kind of customer experience is this?.. And it's not cheap at all for the level of service they provide -- so expensive just because of location (close to Stanford and Silicone Valley companies).
