Score from 47 reviews Wonderful
Location, natural surroundings dings, free wine tasting, clean facilities.
Mattress was stressed to the point of requiring replacement.
Size of the room, number and quality of room and bathroom amenities, is a great place to stay for visiting parents of Stanford students, tucked away in a nice neighborhood.
Had problem with toilet flushing (maintenance attended to it right away though), shower drained very slowly. Not close to fwy 101,
He front desk is so nice! I have never been so well treated.
Beautiful trees. Nice grounds. Nice people. Fine room
Key didn't work first time
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Site photos allude to a peaceful & tranquil location, justifying the cost. Not the case. VERY expensive for a hotel that is nothing more than an old converted motel stuck behind a deli.
Staff was very helpful
noisy construction on site during the day
All the staff were welcoming, helpful, accommodating, and went the extra mile to make our stay a superb experience. The rooms were perfect, the grounds beautiful, the pool area delightful, and the location excellent. I have never stayed at a hotel where there wasn't at least one thing wrong, but Creekside gets an A+ score from us, and we are hard to please!
Ask for room in courtyard, great views of trees, nature Comfortable Bedding Nice in-room products Coffee in reception in the am Accommodating staff Christine is excellent -- called me to come back and pick up cash when she realized she had counted wrong (big points for honesty!)
Tall tower building detached from courtyard building where I was for 2 nights
The helpfulness of the staff, especially Makiea and Joshua. The housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds are lovely and very relaxing. Our bed and the rooms we had were very nice.
no hot tub!!! but everything else was great.
Ok location. Clean.
As usual with Palo Alto hotels, way over priced for what you get. Rooms and facilities and amenities are old, bathroom is from the 1980 although clean, nothing to write home about for over $250 dollars a night.
Liked the facilities, the room amenities, and the staff was accommodating. We got our room for a steal too.
The wifi, while complimentary, was hard to get to work and was pretty slow.
the extra amenities; garden area; the staff; the room;and the onsite restaurant. We never heard our neighbors nor did we hear the house keeping staff while they were cleaning other rooms.
There was nothing we didn't like :)
Setting was stunning, rooms were beautiful.
THE BED, was awful. So hard my back and hips hurt. I go to Stanford often and thought I had found the perfect stay, but would go back because of the bed. If they upgrade the beds I will be their biggest fan.
I didn't like the building F f
Pictures on the website give a misleading impression... more a motel next to the main road than a cosy hotel in the middle of the nature
Beautiful sanctuary, serene, friendly, free business centre, free Wi-Fi, free local transport.
Loved the location and the settings. Food on premises or near by.
The bed was a little hard but we slept good.
•The grounds are amazing •The bed is comfortable •The balcony is peaceful •The in-room fridge •The quiet atmosphere •The location by restaurants •The market/restaurant there •The in-room ac/heat control •The nice bathroom supplies
•No early ck-in •Got a dirty room, wasn't cleaned so they got us other room that was clean •Mgmt not organized •Not enough parking- got back at 11 and had to park really far away •Bkfst (pastries only) closed at 9:30- too early for 12pm ck-out time •Bathroom was not totally clean, floor dirty
Location, room was clean, easy check in.
Hallway to rooms have wooden floors which means you hear everyone coming and going while you are sleeping. Also security door to enter where rooms are seemed to slam shut on entry.
Cozy, clean, roomy!
Staff, cleanliness, comfort, price and pool.
The room is big and clean. The reception staff is nice and polite.
Too far from SF
The staff (from the front desk, to the cleaning people, to the restaurant staff) were wonderful: positive, helpful, and friendly.
It would have been nice to know beforehand that there was going to be construction going on in the rooms next to and below my room.
Staff were polite, professional and welcoming. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Room was clean, comfortable and well appointed.
