I thought most people were friendly. I thought our room was kept very clean every day. We had a very sick child at Stanford Medical Center so it was nice to stay in a nice clean room. It was nice to be able to control the temperature since my husband is in a wheelchair. Important to be warm for shower time. And the bathroom for a stroke victum was perfect and a joy for us. Service when calling the front desk was immediate. I appreciated that. Jane Darling

A larger lobby might have been nice. It was difficult to wait outside in the cold for our transportation to the airport at 3:30 A.M. Particularly because our ride was 30 minutes late. I did understand the policy of the office however. And we were given fresh coffee.

The setting was very pleasant, with lovely flowers, greenery and the office staff was exceptionally pleasant, friendly and capable. We enjoyed the coffee and tasty breakfast rolls in the morning.

The cost was more expensive than we had hoped for. We were coming to Palo Alto for a class @ the Sheraton for 3 days and we did not know how far away the Creekside Inn was. We had hoped to be able to walk from the motel to the Sheraton, but found it was to far away.

The room smelled and I found two possible bed bugs which I left with the front desk person

This is a very convenient place. We have a long drive here and appreciate being able to park the car and eat at the nearby Cibo Restaurant. I would recommend this place to business travelers and families. It is conveniently located as well. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The breakfast (coffee & pastries) area was in the lobby which was too small. The resturant was not good at all - neither food nor facility.

they upgraded my room and gave me a suite and this was unexpected. super nice spot! also I left behind a bag that they saved.

TV screen was terrible but then we only watched a few minutes of news.

We both used a computer but got one password when we tried the second computer it did not start and kept searching for connection the guy at the desk told me my computer was the problem but it seems that his knowledge was the problem because when we closed one computer the other went online smoothly

Friendly staff...nice room and amenities, there really is a creek that runs in front of most rooms...easy to get to Stanford nearby. Restaurants are close.

Great room, good size, comfortable and pleasing view over the creek and garden despite the heavy rain. The staff were most helpful as I had some printing and faxing to do.

It was close to where we needed to be and relatively affordable since all other hotels were booked

We cane during a football weekend and the level of noise outside was unbearable and none of us slept - I can say in all my years it was the worst night's lack of sleep I have ever experienced at any hotel. It seemed like there were 100 people outside and below us partying to all hours and no staff member bothered to even attempt to quiet the crowd that was screaming. Not to mention the fact the in the room next to us there were at least 6 late teenagers/early 20's people staying and sleeping in one room the same size as ours and they could care less about their own behavior and noise. The fact that a hotel would let that many young people crash in a room was disconcerting. I have requested that our room be comped for the one night - we stayed for two and the first night was not as bad. I have been told this swill be taken care of and willbe looking at my credit card bill to ensure it is done.

This hotel is situated well for a visit to Stanford and is perfect for coming and going around Palo Alto and Menlo Park. The trip from the airport on Hwy 101 is a snap and the attached restaurant, the free shuttle and the convenience store make this a possible no-car venue if you don't mind walking a good bit or using public transport. Lots of restaurants are nearby as well as CalTrain and bus routes. Parking is available but not always near your room. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and the patio attached is a bonus since the weather is usually conducive to an outdoor cup of coffee, which is free from the lobby or can be made in your room. Decor is cheerful and the landscaping is very lush and charming. This place is not a bargain price-wise but is good value for the money and very well maintained property. There is free Wi-Fi but also computer access in the lobby is also free and much appreciated for printing boarding passes.

Staff are very competent but not overly friendly. The room rates remained stable over several months (which meant no big drop on the nightly rate).

The mattress was very noisy.

The rooms are very spacious, it is a good location if you are Coming or leaving from San Francisco International Airport.
