Okay Location, good breakfast (for the price - free).

On fifth floor and street noise was still quite disturbing. Was awakened many times each night by the clip clop of carriage horse hooves and loud revelers in the street. Pillows (even the "soft" ones) were quite hard and uncomfortable. The room was spacious, but very sparsely furnished. The TV was WAAAAY at the other end of the room from the bed and too small for such a long distance. The two side chairs were uncomfortable and offered no end table. A little bit of furniture rearranging, upgrade the side chairs and add an occasional table between them would have made a big difference.

Room were large, and everything worked as is should and the room was so clean. Nicely decorated too

Bathroom sink area opens up to the bed. Not convenient for someone getting up early and someone else who would like to sleep in

Great unadorned atrium lobby made the hotel feel modern! Across the street from the Alamo and Riverwalk via the Rivercenter! Also an IMAX across the street, which I thought was great ammenity!

The hotel is close to the city

The air conditioning was so loud (even when turned off), it was impossible to sleep. And the carpets had a strong and bad smell. I asked to change room twice but it was like that everywhere.

Our stay at the Crockett was good. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the morning breakfast. The location was superb. The value was by far the best, given that breakfast was included and there was no charge for in and out parking, which we used a lot. I appreciated the fact that it was an older structure which was in keeping with the flair of San Antonio. Would rather not stay in a contemporary style hotel when visiting an old city. It was perfect!

The beds could have been a bit softer but they weren't that bad. Rooms could use a facelift

Breakfast variety and location was good

Wanted to watch Cowboy gae, came on but lost signal in the 2nd quarter. Manager claimed they didn't offer that station but it was on the card and I was watching it

How close it was to places of interest and restaurants.

The eggs on the breakfast buffet were cold.

    The room was clean

The staff acted as if I was inconveniencing them just by approaching the desk to check in. The hotel is in a great location for seeing San Antonio attractions, however that means that there is absolutely nowhere to park. The hotel charges you $20 + $1.65 tax even to self-park.

I loved the front desk staff. They were helpful with transportation and restaurants. Eduardo especially had a quick sense of humor that weary travelers appreciated!

Our room faced the Alamo and was quite light at night. Until I got used to it sleep was a little difficult.

No coffee sweeteners, cream, stirrers in room. Never been to a hotel without this. Second day they didn't even restock the paper cups. Seemed expensive to not even have this small thing. Bed not comfortable.

Located across the street from the Alamo, but I wished that we had stayed at the Menger Hotel next door - much nicer! The desk clerk on days was pleasant. The car valet service was expensive, but the Valet person was nice.

Our interior room overlooked the lobby and we could hear every conversation below - throughout the night. There was no restaurant, with the exception of the included breakfast. The housekeeping staff was very rude as they constantly communicated through very loud walkie-talkies. There was no opportunity for an afternoon nap after a sleepless night. A fire alarm sounded at 3 am and there was no announcement about what to do or where to go. In fact, there were no hotel staff to be found anywhere, to include the lobby. We were on our own!

The hotel was close to everything. It had free breakfast which made up for the extra cost of staying there. Very friendly staff. Parking was close with easy access to our car but had 24 hour security.
