rude staff noisy
The staff and all accommodations, clean, professional.
The restaurant hostess, Phillipino acted very annoyed, as I'd being bothered, other than that the food was excellent.
Location to where I had business, and Freemont Street
The price of Food in the D
A small icebox in the rooms
Our stay was the first time we stayed downtown since the 1980's. It was interesting. We usually go to Laughlin. However, next time we come to Vegas, we will probably stay downtown.
It was also crowded, hectic, and noisy.
For the price, well worth it and the location was convenient. The entertainment line up, LADY ANTEBELLUM was off the hook, cant wait for the next time there and the next big name to play.
My favorite thing about this place was checking out knowing I will never be back.
This place has gone downhill . They changed a few pieces of furniture so they can charge a ridiculous resort fee. This is not a resort. This was better when it was Fitzgeralds back in the day. Then you knew you got what you paid for. The resort fee alone is higher than room prices were a few years ago. Avoid this place.Stay at Golden Nugget.
Trendy and clean hotel.
The loud music didn't stop until 4am then the after party started Iin the next room....on a Tuesday.
Good hotel for a cheap price. Parking.
A bit far from the center. Need a car.
Beautiful view of the city
The downtown location. Downtown has a good atmosphere and no problem with bar hoping from place to place. The D has made a lot of effort to become current with a good casino and bar selection and has a great vibe going on, so keep it up.... but these upgrades come at a price....
Downtown is not cheap anymore. Prices for everything compare with the large hotels on the strip.....
Staff and house keeping
Worth the price I paid for a place to pass out in Vegas.
Paid for an upgrade completely not worth the $.
The lady who checked us in was so nice and friendly. We go to vegas a lot and this was the first time staying at the D. We choose it because of availability on Fremont street and price. We had an excellent time and will definitely stay at the D again!
I would say the only thing that we didn't like was the elevator situation. They were so slow! And no option to take the stairs which I thought was weird but that's was one of the managers told us.
I loved that it emptied out right onto Freemont Street, with plenty of transportation options to get to the strip. The rates are really cheap for the quality of room I received and the staff were incredibly friendly.
There was an issue with the water when I stayed which made it pretty impossible to take a hot shower.
The hotel is very modern and wifi works well, alsovde free vaket service was great!
It is way too noisy! They first gave us a wrong room, didn't sleep at all thr first night. Next day we went to a higher floor that was supposed to be quiet! The noise was all night long!!
staff, front desk bilingual and courtesan location excellent, price.
elevators are a nightmare, slow, difficult to use and small people capacity.
The staff were nice
The elevators are rediculous. When we got there they have us the wrong room number and let us into someone else's occupied room! Tried our keys in our "real" room and they didn't work. Got locked out of our room with our baby and 11 year old at 1130 at night and housekeeping called security why never showed up. The walls were very thin we could hear everything next door. The parking garage is horrible, way too small for the amount of rooms.
Great value VERY comfortable bed Clean and new Spacious rooms Located in the middle of Fremont Street
Bed was comfortable, lots of TVs at the Longbar
Inattentive staff, was told they were doing me a favor giving me the room that I had already reserved, got age checked while sitting at the same machine three times within a couple hours, elevator system to hotel rooms very inefficient and backed up
Waits of up to 30 minutes for elevator to go downstairs. I wouldn't stay there until they changed the elevator system.
get the elevators working
room was good
elevator system is a joke bathroom needed repairs better off going to the corner gas station
