Do not stay lower than the 9th floor unless you want to hear everything that is happening on Fremont St all night long.
Staff was very helpful when I had questions.
I only got to stay one night :(
Easy and free parking, great location right on the Fremont street experience. Comfortable bed. Elevator system took a little getting used to, but once we did it was fine. The d'grill has excellent breakfast. I would most definitely stay here again.
The price I was charged didn't match my Booking.com costs. They blamed "taxes", but it's the first time that's ever happened to me. Loud noise all night, construction starting early. A small parking garage that forces you to circle down 10 floors of tight turns.
The price was okay. The room was okay, but with so many other choices in Las Vegas I doubt I'd go back.
No hot water in the sink! And shower was COOL water one day even after mentenance came to check!
i didnt like the "suite" that they tried to play me with! waste of my money.
i liked the location and service
Even though they renovated there elevators they still have elevator problems. During our 6 day stay there, we had issues with the elevators 4 out of the 6 days. But the staff was very professional in working the issue using the service elevator to get guests to and from there rooms
Location, Very Clean, Good Staff
We booked 5 nights, March 13th-18th. After reading the bad reviews was kinda skeptical about our trip but we had a wonderful stay. When we checked in we were upgraded to a corner king with a mini fridge and jacuzzi bathtub for free! The staff was great and we did not have elevator troubles as others reported in reviews. We have told family and friends what a great experience we had and will stay there again!
I liked the hotel 2nd time staying there
We didn't know we were supposed to keep a key to get out of the parking lot on the last day. Might be in their info but missed it. Got stuck with cars behind us and luckily (sort of) we found a ticket on the ground. Had to pay $20 but at least was able to raise the bar and get out. Let office know.
The desk staff, after a short delay til full staffed, was great. Always courteous and accommodating.
Woke up to construction work right down the hall and hammering on pipes at 6am in the morning and the beds r stiff as a rock and the management in not empathetic of anything and told me that they will take their chance when I told them that I would be letting people know about my stay.
The location is the only good thing so I'll be staying at a better hotel next time
Valet employees got angry with us because we didn't park in the right spot because the sign that was in the wrong spot. They made us wait for our ticket. Also very slow getting our car.
The elevators were nice, never had to wait very long.
The noise from the Fremont Experience below was too loud. I was in room 811. I had to wear earplugs to sleep. Also, the bathroom sink backed up. I hated the elevator system. Never stayed in a hotel with elevators like that. I also hated the fact that you have to self park above level 6 in the parking garage. All levels below were for valet parking.
downtown fun zone. plenty of facilities, good price.
Resort Fees! Nothing about this place is a resort, and in this day paying for WiFi is crazy. The pool is something you could have in your backyard, and that's about it for a "resort." I understand why the Nugget charges a resort fee, have you seen their pool?! It is fantastic. When the resort fees make up a quarter of your final bill that can leave a bad taste in your mouth. I'll look elsewhere for my next stay because of the fee and lack of value that comes with it. Additionally, the casino floor is too small and there aren't enough table games, forcing them to have higher minimums than most of Fremont.
The D is trying to put a Strip casino on Fremont street. It has a party atmosphere on the casino floor. The LongBar and D bar have a great selection of craft brews on tap.
Elevators do not work properly and they charged a premium to stay on the 32 floor!! 40 minute waits to leave your floor!!!!
Proximity to Freemont Street
Deposit?! Not mentioned on booking... What is this supposed to be? Resort fees...this is rather a comment to booking- make them include all the fees in the price instead of allowing them to show a low price and then adding up various fees... We were given a room with 2 queens, while we asked for a king so i called and i asked if they can change it- thay said no problem. I went downstairs, queued for 15mins To be told that they can t make it... Loud... No exit without passing through the casino No coffee machine in the room, no free coffee The wait for the elevators is horrendous, especially if you are staying at the 33rd floor...
$22.00 a day for free wifi, free parking, and a $5.00 discount on breakfast. Free or prepaid?
The hostess who I assume thought I was dirt when I dared ask about vip seating for a free concert. I know I'm not a high roller, but really it's all us middle income people that continue to come back and spend our money. She could have been nice and said no without acting like how dare I ask. The elevators are slow, they were adding to them but sometimes a 20 minute wait to get up to our room, as there were only 4 for the hotel
I have to say the staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and fun, happy people. Desk staff, bar tenders, housekeepers, cocktail waitresses and everyone I came in to contact with were all great. Clean room and comfy bed.
I did not like th pool, the staff was rude, & housekeeping did not come on a daily
I really liked the location & the many amennities that the hotel offered as far as machines, bars, & entertainment.
No free wi fi.
This is my third time staying at the D Hotel. It's clean and the staff are friendly.
Staff was confusing on payment method. Both were unclear.
Loved the bed and cleanliness.
construction noise early in the morning
