No coffee maker in room. No tub. No fridge. No lounge chair or couch. Missing these basics left us a bit uncomfortable in a very large and very pretty room.
Gorgeous, great locale.
Stayed here 35 years ago on my honeymoon. Not the same place now.....much better. Reminded me of hotels I have stayed at in Austria and Italy. Worth every penny. Great food, classy room, awesome shower, great personnel.
Me and my husband went here and the staff was nice and didn't charge us a fee to check in early
Despite asking to not be placed closet to the elevators, we had a room right outside of one. The staff were helpful and moved us, but in our new room, the tv was broken. We put in a service request, but it was never fixed during our stay. The bed was sunken in on one side, causing me to roll into a divot every time I tried to move around. Overall, pricey for the quality and I've paid the same for much higher quality service and hotel in other locations.
The location was perfect. The rooms were also a good size and it was very clean
Hot tub was nice but could have been warmer. Also, Spokane is far, this hotel should be closer to Seattle so we can go there more often.
The service was excellent. Ordered room service and it was hands down the best room service meal I've had (and I have stayed at nice hotels around the world). The restaurant even called up to make sure we were happy with the food.
We loved the beauty and history of the Davenport. The staff was friendly and helpful (concierge, room service, front desk, valet). The rooms were spacious and the beds amazingly comfortable. The art, architecture and style of the hotel was lovely.
me and my boyfriend stayed for a night and absolutely adore it. beautiful rooms and decor. amazingly comfortable bed. all made for a magical night. we are planning to come back as soon as we can
no coffee or mini bar in room, loud crying baby in net room
location, staff, comfort, cleanliness
I found the beds and the pillows to be soft, and for that reason I rate this experience less than perfect.
The room is very spacious and the sofa provided in the room is very comfortable.
No coffee maker in room (Starbucks in lobby opens at 5:00am)
Beautifully restored turn of the century hotel Public areas are well maintained . Central location makes it easy to walk to shopping and Riverfront Park
Only that I wish I could have stayed longer? Next time!!!
What did I like? There is nothing I can say negative or so, so about my experience at the Davenport Hotel; all positive, you ROCK! Thank you.
no coffee maker in room, slow WiFi access, mattress too soft for my liking
beautiful lobby, excellent restaurant, great location for downtown attractions
They miss the mark with lighting e.g. Fluorescent light at room entry, light in closet wasn't working and overall the room seemed dark and a bit stuffy. Tried to open the windows for fresh air but they were a screwed shut.
Beautiful historic hotel with very comfortable beds, nice finishes, large fluffy towels, and a large shower.
The train sound at night, but not too noisy
The maid service, with candy left. The happy hour from 4 to 6 just as you get in. The décor and services were perfect.
The total experience.
the view of parking lot
Standard room - nothing too fancy for price, price was high
Beds were awesome, lobby bar/restaurant was good, room was beautiful and clean.
Cleanliness ,quiteness , and over all amenities of the hotel
The location big thing for us is the cleanliness and quiteness and it was both hated to leave after we seen how nice it was and staff was very friendly and helpfull I think one of the best hotels ever been at for all of the above comments thanks again
Toilet was dirty when we arrived
A lot to like
Clean, comfortable....great lounge and restaurant! Courteous and helpful staff
We had lived in Spokane many years ago and were traveling through on our return to Portland OR. after a long journey cross country. It was the perfect ending of the trip and we felt like we had a bit of a honeymoon all over again there in your lovely hotel.
There wasn't a coffee maker in room. Also the surcharge to & from airport was $25 each way. It isn't worth the extra $$ to go down to hotel no matter how nice it was. The amount of $$ spent to stay the night shuttle should be included or much cheaper than it is.
Location to places to eat, shop & see park was great. Staff was very nice & welcoming. We loved all the history the hotel had displayed.
Loved staying here. It is downtown, and not as cheap as "motel", but it is affordable luxury.
