It is a very nice facility albeit somewhat faded in decor. It is quiet and the location is excellent. |

Location is good and the rate for three of the four nights quite reasonable. Piano bar was pleasant and happy hour prices for appetizers were good (crab cakes and mussels would not be worth full price) Continental breakfast was limited but sufficed. Parking is very expensive at $28/night plus valet tips but that's sf. Usa Today as the newspaper of choice. Give me a good local paper (the sf Chronicle) so I can read about where I am plus national news rather than the generic non news in usa Today. Also, when we went to pick up our "local information packet" at the concierge desk, it was really a shot at getting us to sign up for a timeshare presentation. |

The staff were first class and very friendly - nothing was too much trouble and with a young toddler this was very important. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. |

I liked the comfort, elegance, and cleanliness of the room. I booked the hotel with my boyfriend for his birthday and he looooved it. The staff was very amiable, making us feel very welcome. The location of the hotel was perfect, it was right across the club Ruby Skye that we wanted to go to and nearby all the main action of Market street, and not too far from Pier 39. i did not like that breakfast ended at 9:30 but lunch could not be served until 12 pm, but it was a minor inconveniance, nothing big. |

The room was pretty big, the location was great, and the staff was very friendly I wish the continental breakfast had some healthier options besides baked goods. Also, the ac in our room didn't work well. |

The helpfulness of the concierge, the peacefulness of the hotel while being close to the action, and the organisation of the bell boy at organising our taxi for departing. It was mkerely an observation. We stayed out late one night, so slept in late the next day and missed the maid service. We had quite a bit of rubbish from food and shopping. Someone came in to close the curtains and turn the bed covers, and while it was not in their job description, going that extra mile woulf have included taking the rubbish. |

Very comfortable hotel, nice large room with fridge, microwave, verry convenient location close to Union Square. The breakfast was on the sparse side. I believe that the hotel could offer a larger buffet breakfast without necessarily being as lavish as Residence Inn or Embassy Suites or Homewood Suites. |

Location to theatre and shopping; All staff were friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned with our needs and requests. Amenities were abundant and consistent with the price for our stay. Piano lounge was great. Noise from Post St. traffic and youthful revelers both inside and outside hotel disturbed relaxation and sleep. |

Location of the hotel was excellent close to good restaurants & shopping area. Good access to transport system After a 22 hour trip we did not appreciate concierge trying to get us to attend a time share introduction talk, all we wanted was a quick brief on local area, a map and hot bath. |

The location to downtown San Francisco makes the hotel good for both local overnight visitors and vacationers alike. The rooms were very spacious for San Francisco, and the entire staff attended to all of your needs. |

The staff were excellent, especially the concierge and front desk staff. The bed was very comfortable and the room was equipped with everything you could need. The resteraunt food and staff were also exceptional. The smell of cigarette smoke in the 6th floor hallway and in our room. The window was broken so could not close it to control noise and temperature. The bathroom fan did not work. We found the bed comforter way too heavy and warm. |

It was clean, affordable, and close to all that downtown SF has to offer. I especially liked the opening windows for fresh air. |
