The staff was great!
Bathroom should have been cleaned better.
The location was incredibly good, the staff and facilities were awesome as well. Not too expensive, which is weird for San Francisco
When it comes to room service, the service sometimes was poor, but aside of that, it was all good
The hotel location. The rooms are very confortable.
The "second" day cleaning of the room.
the location is excellent, a block away from Union Square, walking distance to public transport. the room is very comfortable, big bed with lots of pillows, nice facilities for a quick meal (microwave, sink, small fridge) and a tinsy cuisinart coffee maker thats perfect. I liked the quality of soap/shampoo/etc which was replinished daily.
a bit noisy (street noise) but it didnt bother me. would have really liked if the complimentary coffee sache that came with the room the 1st day had been replenished everyday.
Booked a king size room with sofa bed and was surprised at large size of room. Mirowave and cutlery provided.
Met a storm there during the stay and power supply was cut till about noon. Shld have a staff at hand to explain to guests instead of leaving us wondering what was going on. Perhaps they thought we will go lobby to check. But with 7 storey to climb... Some complimentary water or snacks would have been appreciated.
The location is ideal, a block off Union Square. Rooms are beautiful, large, modern and well-equipped....even TV in the bathroom....LOVED IT!!!
Centrally located, at walking distance from many relevant attractions. Efficient, helpful and gentle staff. Spacious room, clean and quiet. Good fitness room with little spa.
Very convenient, safe neighborhood. I was with a group of girls Christmasx shopping. Staff was helpful. Room was very roomy. Bed was comfortable. The Internet was free but very very slow. I would definitely stay there again. It had a very cool TV submerged in the bathroom mirror.
The lighting was a little too soft .
It is a nice hotel. In a very good place, the best in the city.
Staffs are really friendly. Room is clean and well presented. Good location and have many dinner nearby.
If you have a room that is facing the street, it could get really noisy at night.
Coffee in the room was not complimentary
We stay every time were in the city. Its a great place.
We do understand that there is the timeshare aspect which is fine . But... every time we stay we communicate we have an understanding of the timeshare and that we are not interested . There is still some pressure which is uncomfortable.
Too noisy. No exhaust in the bath. Not always enough towels left by staff.
We liked the location of the hotel and the room was large and comfortable. The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful and the hotel was very clean.
I didn't like it that the so-called concierge service was actually the sales office for the time share shell vacation club. After giving us some tips about places to go around the hotel we got the invitation to a free breakfast which was the sales pitch for a vacation rental. I cancelled out, but still got a phone call urging me to reconsider.
I like the fact the hotel was central and that pretty much it was close to all ammenties.
Here's the thing if you book your stay please check that all taxes and extra charges are relayed to you at the time off booking. By the time my husband and I checked out we ended paying close to aud$900 for a three night stay. Def not not worth that much money to stay in a 3.5 star hotel.
comfortable bed, kitchenette (fridge, microwave, sink, crockery, coffee-maker, but no kettle) club lounge on top floor - open 0700 - 2130, free tea/coffee/newspapers, comfortable seating and heating, also open-air balcony around 3 sides of lounge - a pleasant place to sit and relax
No kettle in room - but managed to boil water in microwave for tea, etc A bit of street noise at night (I was on 9th floor facing east - a few nightclubs below with noisy late-night patrons on a couple of nights)
Great location near Union Square. MUNI, BART and cable cars are all within a few minutes walking distance. Lots of places to eat around this area. Really glad we chose this hotel for a first visit to the city. Very welcoming doormen and desk staff. Fantastic concierges who were very helpful - including arranging postseason baseball tickets behind home plate! Staff here are a real asset to the hotel. Huge room with small kitchenette - coffee machine, microwave, fridge and sink. Gym, jacuzzi and club on top floor with comfy sofas and a small roof terrace (no real view but nice on a hot day). We would definitely come back here.
Very minor point but it was annoying to have to log in to wifi every time you re-entered the hotel.
location facilities staff
Returning to an uncleaned room at 4:00pm slow wifi and having to sign on over & and & over & over ....
Great room rate for this hotel through booking.com. Perfect location for my needs. Clean, classy and lots of dining and shopping options in the vicinity. Near all transport. Definitely a fun place to stay in the heart of it all.
I didn't like the press to attend the seminar for the vacation club. Had to politely decline several times. Also was not at all happy with the "city" imposed room taxes and fees amounting to almost $50. per day. Not the fault of the hotel but I think guests should be aware of this extra cost.
Large room, quiet, great location, very comfortable bed,the top floor lounge was very pleasant.
The airconditioner didn't work, making if hot and stuffy at night. This meant we didn't sleep well. This wasn't rectified even though we told the desk staff about the problem. The kitchenette would benefit from a few more appliances such as a kettle and complimentary teabags and milk.
Size of room was great-bed was comfortable-bathrobes were nice-TV in bathroom was nice upgrade-staff was very friendly and helpful. Location awesome for theaters and shopping
Bathrooms were not as nicely maintained as I thought they would be compared to rest of room-housekeeping did not restock kitchen area-requested quiet side of hotel-faced Post street-noisy
Located very close to Union Square. Surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants. Very kind personnel. Very comfortable bed.
Lot of noise coming from the outside. Windows did not close properly. Restaurant has an average quality but it is extremely expensive. No minibar neither vending machines. Breakfast only in room service, poor relation price/quality
Staff were very nice and always available
Grungy room decor and poor lighting
Good size room & location
Hotel added a charge of 1% & called it Moscone Renewal Fee. I went to Sonoma for 2 days & stayed 1 block from Donattello & they said there was no such fee.
