The location was perfect. We parked our car and walked every where. They were very gracious hosts. Breakfast was delicious.
breakfast in the sun/dining room.
The room meets my expectation. The decoration is fancy, warm, beautiful. The staff can be talkative if someone wants, or just leave us space and provide appropriate service. Overall it is a good experience to stay in Dormer.
Convenient walk to the beach, restaurants, and other sites.
Location Excellent food Off street parking Pleasant staff
Horrible mattress - NO support Bathroom tiles not secured Weak water flow Cobwebs near drapes and ceiling
Friendly atmosphere, delicious breakfast, very comfortable bed. Very friendly owners, took the time to talk to everyone about their stay and recommended places to see and eat.
This is a cute place to stay in Cape May. It's an old Victorian house, located just two blocks from the beach and in easy walking distance of almost everything downtown. They had a great breakfast, and accommodated my dairy issues due to lactose intolerance. There are 12 rooms so other guests (like a small hotel), the family is friendly, and the rooms are decorated victorian style. They had beach chairs and towels to take to the beach, and tea and coffee available downstairs all the time, and we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio in rocking chairs at night drinking the wine we brought. Great experience! Will be back!
Liked everything...people,food,staff, room....just a great 2 days of true relaxation.
Room comfortable and clean. Breakfast very good. Hosts were lovely. Large front porch that we enjoyed sitting out on.
Appearance of the outside of the home not kept up. No nice flowers or landscaping that you would expect at a Cape May B&B. Inside downstairs little to cluttered. Could use a bit of updating. Three+ blocks from the beach. Not straight on. Had to zig-zag to get there.
Breakfasts were very good and location was good
Bathroom set up with sink outside bathroom. Stain on duvet cover.
Great breakfasts on the lovely front porch. Loved the sounds of the horse drawn carriages that went by. We were transported to the Victorian era.
Ease of walking to beach and to pedestrian mall.
Adequate off street parking. Very important in Cape May. Easy walk to town center. Although the house was full, it was very quiet. Structure is visually attractive. Pleasant front porch for having a glass of wine and people watching.
The staff was most helpful and we felt right at home. It is conveniently located and in a very safe neighborhood. The breakfasts were excellent and well presented.
Location and friendliness of staff.
Once a lovely home we are sure, but has gotten shabby and is in need of LOTS of repairs and maintenance, both inside and outside.
Friendly staff, good service. Loved the afternoon tea on the porch. Breakfast was very good. We felt very comfortable.
The bathroom could be cleaner.
almost everything was excellent
wife didnt like having to clean tub herself
Everything from location to quaintness of staff...LOVED the quite breakfast porch, & tea time on front porch!
The home was beautiful... The food was yummy... The staff was very helpful!
Very Clear and Quiet. Great location in Cape May, close to the beach and other activities.
The weather wasn't very nice, windy and cold. Just went to early in the season.
