Breakfasts were very good and location was good
Bathroom set up with sink outside bathroom. Stain on duvet cover.
Great breakfasts on the lovely front porch. Loved the sounds of the horse drawn carriages that went by. We were transported to the Victorian era.
Ease of walking to beach and to pedestrian mall.
Adequate off street parking. Very important in Cape May. Easy walk to town center. Although the house was full, it was very quiet. Structure is visually attractive. Pleasant front porch for having a glass of wine and people watching.
The staff was most helpful and we felt right at home. It is conveniently located and in a very safe neighborhood. The breakfasts were excellent and well presented.
Location and friendliness of staff.
Once a lovely home we are sure, but has gotten shabby and is in need of LOTS of repairs and maintenance, both inside and outside.
Friendly staff, good service. Loved the afternoon tea on the porch. Breakfast was very good. We felt very comfortable.
The bathroom could be cleaner.
almost everything was excellent
wife didnt like having to clean tub herself
Everything from location to quaintness of staff...LOVED the quite breakfast porch, & tea time on front porch!
The home was beautiful... The food was yummy... The staff was very helpful!
Very Clear and Quiet. Great location in Cape May, close to the beach and other activities.
The weather wasn't very nice, windy and cold. Just went to early in the season.
Older building, needed some improvements
hosts atmosphere parking on site room decor breakfast
Back steps no light
Location, food, room clean
Place needs overall upgrading, 3rd floor windows rattled in wind kept us up two nights had to get sleep after we left, place needs outside painting
The surroundings and atmosphere brought back the holidays of yesteryears.
I like the decoration
Was not clean and well maintain
The owner is very friendly and takes time to talk with the guests as they sit out on the porch for afternoon "tea".
The house is an historic old house and has some peculiar character. Floors are not level and there is some plaster cracking.
The cottage, breakfast, met very nice guests, great location, beautiful home. afternoon tea and snacks, great front porch, walk to dinner
Only one thing the bed in the cottage was lumpy and I'd say worn out, giving a tough night's sleep
The location was perfect...walked to everything! The breakfasts and afternoon snacks were delicious. The off street parking a bonus! And the staff and owner were all so pleasant!
Not a thing....we would definitely stay there again!
Location and availability of parking lot. Overall charm of house.Room on main floor.
Mattress was uncomfortable.
The staff was very friendly and accomodating! The food was delicious, cooked, not just rolls and bagels for breakfast(which was included every morning).Tea time was just as delicious with homemade cakes and cookies. The Dormer house was walking distance to the beach, town, and just about everything!
Parking is very difficult on the street with all the one way signs, do not park from here to corner, too many restrictions.
