Location. Nice room. Bell/Valet guys very friendly and helpful. As was the concierge. No water or newspaper left at room as stated. But housekeeping did bring water when requested and said they had ordered water but didn't have it yet so weren't putting it in all the rooms.

Rooms were well decorated, bathroom was beautiful. There were no darkening room drapes, just shutters which let in a fair amount of light. Also, my room was facing the street and the windows don't shield any sound so every bit of the vehicle noise was heard. There was a truck that backed up every morning at 6am with the reverse alarm loudly heard so I could never sleep past 6.

Excellent location, close to the metro, food, & drinks. Their bar is hopping and the drinks are tasty. Friends who have eaten at their restaurant gave high marks (we did not eat there so I can't comment personally. Some road noise, no other complaints.

Visited with my 17 year old son. Requested the ada room, so the bathroom has a door. Great, spacious room. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Front staff was great. Concierge was very helpful. My son didn't like the light coming through the slots.

The hotel features beautiful, efficient rooms with beautiful bathrooms and comfortable beds. The rooms are small but very thoughtfully laid out. The restaurant is pricey but fantastic. Both times we stayed in the hotel my husband had trouble sleeping: the first time because the bathroom had a glass door, so my turning on the light woke him up; the second time because the room had shutters that didn't block out the light. Bring eye-shades if you're light sensitive.

The staff were very helpful and attentive and the room was very comfortable and clean and was modern and nicely decorated. Comfy bed. Great location for getting to DC sights by public transport as well as walking to local attractions and restaurants.

Centrally located, easy to go for shopping, running, dinning. Nicely renovated in morden style. Good space for doing work - comfortable desk and chair with good access to outlets, internet is free and worked well, there is a possibility to print (free of charge!). The room had an iron with an ironing board. and it's beautiful time to stay in DC! There was no coffee maker/kettle in the room. Also for those living at lower floors it might have been slightly noisy given all action on streets

wonderful but left my black pants in room 401 and called and no one called me back I know I left them in the room we left sat morning at 11:30 a.m please look for them and call me or e mail me please thanks hope no one took them probably in the closet or the chair we checked in friday after 4 p.m march 30 under name barbara j tamerin

Like everything> Great staff, excellent meals, very nice room, cool design, free internet in the rooms.Location less than 2 blocks from the Metro, lots of great local restaurants. Not anything about the Dupont. Just was on the expensive side but I feel like I got my money's worth.

Amazing location-clean, trendy hotel. There was a leak in my bathroom ceiling, and there was no effort no makeup for this inconvenience (they fixed it, but I would expect a bit more after having old shower water from upstairs dripping on my head...)

The restaurant was excellent. The room was clean and quiet. Given the price, the room was tiny and the glass door on the bathroom was problematic. Turn on the light in the bathroom at night and you wake up the other guest in the room. Oops.

The room was contemporary, spacious, quiet. The staff were excellent! Inquiries and requests were answered quickly, courteously, and thoroughly. The food in the Cafe was so good we ended up eating there for every breakfast and every dinner. We will definitely consider staying here on our next trip to dc

The bed was superb as was the loo and the heated floors. Location is excellent as there are many fine restaurant options within walking distance, ditto for shops and casual eating. Parking overnight was very overpriced. Look elsewhere to leave your car - as we will when we come back - Metro is the best idea.

The location of the Dupont was absolutely perfect, I loved the cosmopolitan vibe and going down to the bar at night and watching locals and visitors alike mingle. The rooms were very well appointed, clean and great value for money. It is very much an urbane, boutique hotel in a vibrant and cultural city. There is ample choice for dining in the area and is very close to all the major attractions and the metro is less than a five minute walk away connecting you to everywhere in the dc area. I booked a double bed room for two of us and it was very tight - tastefully appointed and very comfortable bedding but tight. It is also rather noisy in the early evening and morning with traffic in the circle, however I did find that it died down for the most part later in the evening. I was also mildly irked that while there was a fridge in the room there was no way to place your own products in the unit (it is constructed in a vending machine type way).
