The hotel was nicely decorated and had some charm and character. We did not like the location as much as we thought we would have. We were visiting Atlanta to see the city and were not there for business. The Ellis is located in an area that would seem to be suitable for business travelers. On the weekends that area is very deserted and not a place to spend an evening walking and dining.

Bed linens were luxurious -almost felt like silk. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom small but nice, especially shower. Need better lighting to read in bed.

The bed was very comfortable - I had a fantastic sleep. The keys didn't work very well, in the elevator or the room door.

Clean. Location is perfect (Gerogia Congress Center is in 10 min walk). Staff is very friendly and everything worked just fine. No WiFi in a room (hopely will work after rennovation). Due to rennovation, lobby is small and there is no terrace for smoking.
