Convenient

We only stayed one night, with 2 small kids, but it was perfect for what we needed. Fran, the owner, was very friendly. It was a relaxed and comfortable stay, and definitely affordable for the Hamptons.

Fran was very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location is great.

A little outdated and who parks where is a little comfusing.

The owner was a very nice lady who drove us to the town, the beach and even to the train station when we had to leave as we had no car (we would definitely recommend to rent a car). The room was nice and clean and equipped with everything needed.

This was a real gem of a find. It was very relaxed but had all the components that were needed and worked to a high standard. The service was of a very good standard but I was being left alone to do my own thing. Having a complete kitchen gave the advantage of deciding if I wanted to eat in or out. A real home from home.

This is not really a criticism, it is a note of advice. The Montauk Highway has several sections, split by other roads, so you need to make sure you have the right section when you plan your journey. The motel is in the section between Southampton and Hampton Bays.

Clean, set up for families with a kitchenette, comfortable bed and bed coverings. Good location. Reasonably priced for the area.

We had four adults and needed four beds. We were told by booking.com that what was available was two rooms with two double beds each which we booked. When we got there one room met that description but the other one had FOUR double beds which means we would not have needed the other room at all and it would saved us a lot of money. Yes, it as more than we asked for but more than we asked for in a way that could have saved us money had someone communicated that to us. Oh well. Probably will not use booking.com again since it seems that as middlemen for the process the communication on details like that are lost.

Fran, the owner was great. She gave me two invaluable maps of Long Island, directions to the all-important beach, places to eat, as well as the contact information for an arts magnet high school in NYC (I was traveling for business for a Boston art college). My studio/room was spotless, the ac worked well. The location was perfect for my needs. The big surprise was hearing a rooster crowing in the morning. I'd stay at the Easterner again in an instant!

The beds were a little hard

Convenient location between S Hampton and Hampton Bays, close to beaches. Fran, the owner was very nice and made sure our stay was terrific! Pool was very clean and great for the kids.

I absolutely loved this place!! The owner was so sweet & accommodating. I stayed there with my sister, my nephew and my 3 kids. The room was very clean and spacious. The only negative was that I found the beds to be hard and uncomfortable. The pool was beautiful and very clean. Nearby beaches were beautiful. I will be back next year!!!

The beds were very hard.

The Easterner was a very nice, accommodating motel. Our room was clean and nicely set up with 2 queen beds, tables and chairs and a kitchen which came in very handy with a baby. Fran, the owner is great, always extremely helpful. She set up a pack and play in the room and let us borrow beach chairs, umbrella and even a stroller. The grounds are not very well maintained, there are a lot of weeds and grass in front of the rooms. Trees are overgrown and such but I actually think that it adds to the charm of the place. As long as the room was clean, I liked the idea that I step out and felt like I was truly away from the city. They also have a very nice pool. I never saw the tennis court. Overall it was a very good experience and I'm planning on returning in the future.

The only think that was a little inconvenient is that every time you want to go to the pool you need to make a call for them to open it and then to close up. I do think that it is due to safety precautions. You are very isolated which is nice but there is one around if there is an accident at the pool.

No restaurant near hotel

Sehr nette u.a. hilfsbereite Inhaberin Riesiges Zimmer - perfekt ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Ideale Lage, vor allem fuer die Faehre ab Orient Point.

Very outdated and in somewhat rough shape. Tiny bathroom, rock hard beds.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable but the place us showing its age.

The owner has to be contacted by phone when you arrive. The motel is a long way from Southampton and it is quite expensive for what you get. Coffee facilities only and our coffee machine didn't work at all.

The owner was most helpful and obliging...was surprised to see a small kitchentte. Would certainly go back.
