We saw deer in the lawn in the morning and changing autumn leaves. We made our own coffee and felt so cozy in the lovely cottage. Lots of light! Simply decorated with good taste. Warm and homey, not hotel-like at all. Host was wonderful and responsive! We loved our visit.
We should have stayed longer.
Size of room Full kitchen with coffee supplies Quiet & peaceful setting Lots of windows (including in bathroom) Cleanliness Value
Baseboard heating was a bit noisy (air in system) In all fairness it was probably the first time the system got turned on for the season and they probably didn't get to bleed the air out of the system.
The size of the room was great. I wasn't expecting a kitchen equipped with a table, microwave, utensils, plates, etc., but was pleasantly surprised to find one. The beds were comfortable, and the place was clean, and spacious!
basic quiet comfy place that you dont have to use your credit line to afford. I didnt use the kitchen much but I would have if I stayed longer. The owner was very nice and emailed me immediately about the shoes I left. She is mailing them back to me. I would stay here again
the privacy was great; the attention to details was very good; the WiFi connection was excellent; the room was spacious, clean and well laid out; everything worked and the details available were very thought out;
the bathroom was older and small
The room was perfectly clean, adorably decorated, and with every comfort - from the tea kettle on the stove, real ceramic mugs, silverware, a good microwave and a real fridge! The owner was so lovely and accommodating, and an incredible price for the usually pricey Hamptons. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!
The owner went out of her way to help out on everything from beach passes to helping out on booking golf tee times. They even ordered and delivered take out when we had no transport. The location was perfect but you would need a car. 5 minutes from nearest beach. Chalets included everything you would need. Would definately staff there again. Loved it.
There is nothing I did not like about the place or my stay.
The closeness to the beaches and town and the pool!!
Hospitality room size kitchen quiet proximity to Southampton Village, and Southhampton Beach
No corkscrew ( very minor, but important for the occasion.. birthday)
- Owner was very nice - easy to find - fully equipped room (fridge, kitchen, tv,...) - Wifi
- Smelly, moldy room, keeping windows open didnt help (towels were always a bit wet) - very old bed, other rooms seemed renovated + equipped with newer bed/s - shower in bathroom falling out of the wall - (very) pricey for what you get but one of the cheaper accomodations in southhampton (you can a *** or even **** in London for that price)
The owner couldn't have been more helpful! We were given a larger room when she realized my son uses a wheelchair.
Kindness of the lady manager Confort of the king size beds Service of towels, seats and parking for the beach Wireless access Free parking Good location
Bathroom a bit basic Noise of the road at rush hour
kitchen in room and close to beach with a excellent owner
Low price, room available for the one night we needed
The room keys were not in the room as we were told, so I tried to call reception from the room, but the phone did not work. Staff brought keys promptly, but phone remained out of order. The room had an unpleasant odor, the bathroom sink seemed about ready to fall off the wall, the toilet wobbled and the shower was nasty. The shower, by the way, is only suitable for tall people. The shower head cannot be adjusted for position or spray pattern. As a result what you get is a concentrated fire hose strength stream of water that hits the shower wall at about the 5'10" mark. The only spot the water hit me was on my head. If you're not tall you won't even get that, just spray rebounding off the wall. I'm not a nit picker and the price was low, but come on-- put a few dollars back into the place and renovate the bathroom...
Is just what they advertise.
Far from everything & not convenient to get back to during the day. Very expensive for what it is.
Spacious clean nice rooms, pool is great, location is perfect! We loved everything- management allowed us to check in sooner because our room was ready - we loved it!
Fran was extremely helpful
The room smelt of smoke even though we left the windows open all the time. The lime green curtains were dreadful. The isolated location meant we had to drive everywhere to shop and eat, and when we did we were stuck in traffic.
When we first arrived I thought it looked like an older apartment complex, we thought it could go either way. We were immediately and pleasantly surprised when we pulled up to our "room" (which was actually half of a duplex). There was a private driveway for each room, an adorable pool, a sectioned smoking area, tennis courts, etc. Then we opened the door to our suite...too darn cute! It felt like we were walking into a do-it-yourself guest room featured in BHG. The room was decorated with heart, had a full kitchen including a basket with coffee and bag of microwave poporn. We felt at home!! We had already planned a second stay in late August for another business trip. I will be extending that stay another night to be able to enjoy a personal day. We also highly recommended it for our band mates, who have stayed at a different hotel in the area.
The bed was a little stiff but I still had a great night's sleep due to the care in how the room was maintained.
Location +, room was nice
Pool area outdated , beds very uncomfortable felt like a spring in my back
Location cleanliness comfort facilities/kitchen/TV/pool owner/proprietor decor
Too noisy, room is too small for a family of four.
It was a very nice and clean motel. Big value for your money. Nice staff and beaches were very nearby. Nice place to go with children .
Very helpful on the local area and getting around. Wonderful hospitality - could not have been made to feel more welcome. Thank you.
The woman in charge was very very sweet and helpful and gave us alot of different recommendations of restaurants, beaches etc. Cute motel with a "home-coming-atmosphere". You definitly need a car since it is along the road and sort of in between a restaurant area by the canal and the town (or bike :)
