The location, walking distance to a lot of things.... For our short stay
There was a fresh blood stain on the sheets when we 1st got our room...i called to have them change it and they upgraded us to a larger room, with balcony @ no extra fee immediatley
Convenience of location, ambiance, friendly staff and the excellent food in the restaurant!
We did not get our morning wake-up call for our flight back, which could have been a problem.
Very comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff, and the view--oh my!
The location was great and the rooms were very comfortable.
I loved the in room fire place with the grizzly bear footstool. I even bought the footstool. Being right on the water while sitting in front of the fire was just amazing.
Beds were horrible.
Location was amazing. Lounge/restaurant was delicious and well decorated. Rooms were spacious with nice view of the bay. Well appointed. Bathrooms were really nice
Very expensive to park at as a Hotel guest.
After all these years still one of the best in Seattle. Not to slick as Hotels go, reflects the style of the Northwest, great location. In a foodie town, one of the best places to eat.
The staff is your most valuable asset. They were all friendly and seemed to truly like their jobs. Beside demonstrating competency, they all were enthusiastic and were interested in our comfort. We had a great stay.
The water right outside your room
At times the pier noise was a bit much.
The location was perfect and I loved the water view.
Removed from the hustle of downtown Seattle offering all the views of both Elliott Bay and the Skyline you will not be disappointed. the restraunt, room service house keeping and the cleanliness of this historical landmark will make you want to return. Access to all the sights minutes away both by foot and cab.
We were about 6 feet off the water and the sunset and the restaurant was absolutely gorgeous!!
Everything was great. The room was well appointed. The location was ideal for walking to Pike Place Market and to the Sculpture Park.
Sounds of trains in the night quite noisey!
The view is amazing!
Parking for one day expensive. Extra charge for facilities that we did not use, that was mandatory, on top of rate.
room service and breakfast delivered was great, prompt, the delivery person was nice and respectful. Decor of the property was neat. Lodge type and seating was adequate.
Hidden charges, expense for what you get, 20 different taxes, no parking unless you want to pay 70$ for valet, dumpy room, they put a hold on your card for 3 days for more then the amount you signed off on at checkout which was outrages, fridge was so full of the stuff they want to charge you quadroople for, shower leaked all over the floor, just 2 towels, just decaf coffee in room,no sugar,
Need a Belconnen on the ocean side of the rooms. The prices for the food in the restaurant.
The veiw and comfort
I had my suits pressed (not even dry cleaned) here. It cost $30. They lost my cufflinks and double creased my pants.
I love the view. The lobby has the most breathtaking view of the sound at dusk and dawn.
There was duct tape inside the mini-fridge, the chairs in our room had rips, and there were hardly any vegetarian options on the menus in the associated restaurant(s). The view really is wonderful, but it's not worth the money.
The view, of course. The decor in the main hotel is fantastic, I wish the room had matched it. However, the bathroom was beautiful.
Facilities looks old
Bathroom decorating is nice
Excellent location: close to downtown - Space Needle, Museums, Pike Market and Waterfront. Wonderful boutique hotel yet child friendly.
Location, decor, view.
The rooms are on the small side, but the waterside view and balcony easily make up for it.
Fantastic location on the Seattle waterfront! Easy access to downtown, everything is within walking distance.
The parking is an issue.
You could get away without a car. This property was in a great location for the city. Also close to national parks.
