parking in the lot next to the hotel was a bit expensive.
close to the mt. Vernon metro station and main sites of the city, the kitchen was well equipped with new appliances, 2 seaparte rooms allow privacy and space for everyone.

The hallway was noisy with other guests and I could hear neighbors beside me and above me constantly banging all night. I stayed here before and had a suite facing street with great sunlight and a view. This time I was facing a brick wall and couldn't even see what the weather was outside...I had to keeps lights on during day to see! Too dark and depressing! It was quiet and relaxing the last time a stayed but I know hotel is not responsible for noisy customers.
The suites are large with big kitchen

Not that it matters too much- but this place is terribly decorated. Reminds me of a nail salon. The marble everywhere seems fake and the walls are plywood! Very weird. The whole place reeks of air freshener spray- awful- had to keep windows open whole time. It was overall clean- but rip in sheets and someone had drawn a smiley face on a decorative pillow, stain on couch, glass cracked in 2 windows, WIFI variable. Front desk staff not that friendly- this definitely wasn't "luxury."
The shower was quite nice- spacious and jets from top and sides. Bed was comfortable. It was very spacious and had a kitchen- didn't need the space or kitchen but could see how it would be nice. Was super convenient to convention center and has a cvs around the corner.

Cable TV has no local news.
Good location, close to Wasington convention center.

Second bed was a pullout couch. Apparently no one has used it as a bed in some time. When opened up, the single sheet was so stained it looked as if a body decomposed on it.
Very nice kitchen appliances but very little kitchen tools/pots to cook with.

Not many places near hotel to get a late night drink. But perfect for a stay.
Rooms were amazing and spacious

The hotel was clean and hotel staff were friendly. Hotel was in a good location also!

We were four people, and we booked their Independence Suite, which supposedly sleeps four. The walls were covered with the cheapest possible wood they could find, the 'balcony' had cigarette butts all over, the couch had stains on it, and the wifi didn't work. Worst of all, the sleeping arrangement for four people was this: one bed, and one fold-out couch. A fold out couch! I guess that could still be okay, except the couch was broken, and didn't fold out. So, two people ended up sleeping on the floor all night. Good times.
Room was big in size.

The walls are 100% wood paneled, and not altogether professionally done. Ditto for the wallboard ceilings-a lot of patches etc and patches never painted. Bathroom has no door lock. Worst was that air conditioning did not work-suite got up to 80 degrees. Front desk is not terribly professional. Overall this is a old property re-habbed to look luxurious but they don't really pull it off completely-there are some rough edges. Also, no decent restaurants in immediate areas and while the Washington convention center is a block away and Marriott Marquis is across the street, there are 3-4 boarded up buildings next door.
Elton Suites is a good value and the in room kitchen is excellent. The walk in shower is all marble with an awesome shower head. The doors are a beautiful combo of glass and wood. Yellow and green metro is a block and a half away.

Sofa bed not very comfortable, had to ask for towels twice. Windows were dirty and one didn't close properly. Wood paneling very dusty.

No TV in Bedroom. Neighborhood a bit sketchy. Limited Restaurants in walking distance
It was a large suite. Walking distance to work.
March 28, 2015
There was no meeting or conference room There was no computer ro.oms forn access and research The early morning loud noises of garbage collectors made sleeping past 6:00 am difficult. However, I feel sure this is nothing the hotel can control.
The staff was helpful and friendly. The accommodations were excellent. The size of the room was excellent and having the full kitchen is excellent for those traveling with family

Breakfast should be complimentary.
March 22, 2015
Amazing suites with all comforts included.
March 17, 2015
The breakfast was not enough. They didn´t have any fruits and the juice was not good. It was only correct.
The location, the suite and the price

The bed bug my kids woke up with under there pillow
I liked everything until i found a bed bug in bed with my kids the morning of check out
March 15, 2015
We had problems with out toilet. Called twice about it, and it never was fixed.
The location, the size of the rooms, the access to a full kitchen, the bedroom separate from the sitting room and kitchen.
March 15, 2015
Very spacious with good kitchen facilities and close to convention Center and metro.
March 12, 2015
Weird oversights like missing light fixtures in bath and no washcloths. Not wheelchair friendly.
Very spacious and accommodating; quiet; modern
March 12, 2015
stay was good enough but they initially put me a dirty room then said i'f have to be in the first floor. I eventually got a comparable room. The decor is dated and a little worn around the edges and a tv was missing. The bed was small and no carpeting or rugs makes for a cold environment but the location and space and full kitchen were nice to have. I would recommend it but the "luxury" label is misleading. It is a really solid, nice suite hotel in a very good location.
