The Elephant Walk is perfect for a car-free holiday in Provincetown! It is walking distance from the pier where the boats from Boston and Plymouth dock, it is three minutes walk from the city centre but in a quiet street, a byke-rental place is nearby. The house is as pretty as they come, with a lovely sun deck. Don, the keeper, is very knowledgeble and will help you plan your days.
Walk or bike to everything! It's even only 3 miles to a very nice national Park beach everything is in walking distance.
I liked everything.
It is a very nice place to stay in if you are coming to Provincetown, a small walk from the Commercial street and the noise there but not too far to walk there from the ferry for instance. The staff is very friendly and the freshly baked muffins are absolutely irresistible and something to be missed when you leave.
Nice location and friendly
A little overpriced
friendly staff, great breakfasts
Don is great!
That my trip was so short!
Loved the rear outside deck
very clean..staff and owner very nice.. cool other guests from sweden while we were there..good continental breakfast..great location...parking a plus..happy no extra charge for it
Less-than-friendly staff; very uncomfortable bed; only a continental breakfast - rare for an expensive B&B
Great location, good value, great innkeeper, cute town
The aesthetic really suited us. Great attention to detail with the decor and comfort touches which made us feel like we were staying at a great aunt's house, but the great aunt used to be the editor of Vogue Living!!! Beds v comfortable, a lovely host, close to the Provincetown main strip but not too close. Lovely large sundeck.
Actually we liked everything.
We loved everything about this inn. Our room was immaculate and well-appointed, the host was delightful, the inn was lovely, the other guests were very friendly. And the "tree house" deck was an added bonus. We'll definitely be back again.
Central position Friendly staff
Not a bad word to say about the Elephant Walk Inn. From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel like friends and Jeffrey really is the host with the most. His enthusiasm for PTown ensured we made the most of our short stay in this fabulous part of Cape Cod. The Elephant Walk Inn is perfectly located, only a very short stroll from the liveliness of Commercial Street but feels a world away when you're sitting on the sun deck with a complimentary 4pm glass of wine. We will be back - already planning another trip!
Jeffrey and his team were friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The "treehouse" deck had amazing views and was a great place to relax under the tree in the afternoon and enjoy the complementary wine. Had a nice library to borrow from and a great breakfast was provided every morning. Location was great- near everything but away from the crowded main drag. The inn was a great value for the money.
Mattress could have been more comfortable and the shower was a bit small for my friend although I believe it's being updated for next season. Really not anything to complain about with this property.
The location was fantastic. 10 minute walk to everything. The facilities are quaint, but well kept and very clean. There's an elevated deck (the tree-house) that's a great place to spend time just chatting with friends. There's complementary wine at 4PM and you can enjoy it up in the tree-house. Breakfast is typical European (fruit, yogurt, pastries (including a wonderful oatmeal muffin/cake), juice, coffee, etc.), but very good. The inn keeper was very helpful, except he wouldn't give us the recipe for that oatmeal cake. :>)
TV was an old tube type, and small. (Not really a big concern.)
The staff was nice. The breakfast was good. The location is perfect, near everything. The terrace was fabulous with view on the tower.
A little bit of renovation ( especially in the bathroom) will be nice !
Liked the old house, the host, the location, the friendliness and the breakfast and afternoon drinks.
the bathroom, the lack of choice for breakfast other than cakes!
Very friendly staff, beautiful rooms, a warm atmosphere and very easy going and relaxing.
The innkeeper, Jeffrey, made the entire stay amazing. He made us feel welcomed and at home. He was easy to talk to and knew the area very well.
Jeffrey the inn keeper was super - friendly, helpful and pleasure to speak with.
Very nice place. I liked having a private bathroom, in a very comfortable "country-like" home. I also liked how it wasn't right on the mainstreet, but close enough.
There was nothing I didn't like. I stayed briefly - and paid more than I wanted to for a night stay, but the rate was spelled out prior to booking. I had a lot of personal stuff going on in life, and I needed to get away, and this was a nice place to stay.
Jeffrey was so nice. It felt good to feel so welcomed.
