We were promised a view of the lake for my elderly mother, but ended up in the handicapped suite with a tiny view of the lake and mostly of the parking lot. The staff was very accommodating and decreased price for this, with a free breakfast. However, though my mother's room was fine, the advertised sofa bed for me was so unbelievably, horrifyingly uncomfortable I can't believe they advertised it. Then, they replaced it with a rollaway bed with springs poking through--I barely slept. No further apologies for a sleepless, painful night. The very young front desk supervisor tried to make it sound like he had originally reduced my rate to the Booking.com price, but in fact when we got to the hotel there was no room except the cheaper one anyway, so he had in fact not reduced the rate so should not have argued that he had "reduced the rate twice." He used that as a reason he couldn't give a further reduction for the awful, awful bed, though really we should not have had to pay for a night like that.
Staff was friendly and tried to help, but all seemed very young with no one in charge to deal with problems. Nice view of lake, but not from our room.
