The room was big and comfortable with lovely view of the park.
No breakfast included and even though we were on honeymoon they wouldn't include it complimentary.
The concierge couldn't have been more helpful and had a very nice way about them. Location was fantastic and the view of the river from the hotel...they attended to all my needs though and I would happily stay again.
The bed and sheets were a little tired and the staff on reception were a slightly cold.
Clean room Good beds Quiet rooms Large rooms Superfast Wifi, never disconnecting and multiple devices to connect
Location to Millenium park is just the best.
The restaurant is a bit stuffy...
Rooms with a good view and very comfortable.
Lack of WI FI
Cleanliness The rooms need to be updated.
Location close to Magnificient Mile
Noisy location, since the fire department is just meters from the hotel. Not as clean as I would expect in a Fairmont
facilities were very nice
A little distance from the attractions we were visiting
The staff was very friendly and they were always available for anything you may need. The 24 hour room service was very convenient as well.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room with two double beds was huge.
Parking was too expensive. No pool.
Location Quality of service
There were things on room service menu that we're not available
Location is great
The hotel was very clean and the king room very spacious. The bedding and bed were very comfortable. The bathroom layout spacious; having a soaker tub and shower with a private lavatory felt very luxurious. The view of the fountain and lake were exceptional. The walk in closet was also very nice. The concierge Alex was amazing. He knew us by name after one encounter and he was very sincere with his recommendations. Alex was always willing to make our reservations or secure tickets for us; And Alex always greeted us with a smile. The light bulb next to our bed burned out and when we returned to our room it had been changed immediately.
There was not a lot of storage in the bathroom for your toiletries. I would add a shelf under the sink. We did not like waiting for a concierge. There generally was only one on staff at a time. And it was difficult to get our room cool. The temperature was in the low 70's in our room and we prefer it to be around 68. It was definitely not hot but for sleeping we would have preferred it be cooler. They did sent a maintenance man immediately when we called and he changed the filter but said there was nothing more he could do and it was a funtion of design.
Big room, big comfortable beds, great city view, good location, near Millenium Park, near river, near shops, theatres, and not far to Ohio and Oak St beaches. A few minor problems with room, as you will see, but really, hardly worth mentioning. It's a very good hotel, but not the cheapest, of course. Staff were all excellent.
Shower not particulary good and the indications for the hot and cold were wrong way round (!!!) and the bath tub low and small. Big gap under door, and freezing cold air conditioning in hall, which created a cold draught under door. We put a towel there, but not really what you would expect to do in hotel of this standard.
the view of the lake and close to gioriadano's pizza
not a bus stop out front-had to walk 2 blocks
Is a very good hotel, near to everything
The view from the room
Very pricey hotel for a fair experience. There was a mosquito in the bathroom. Very dusty bedside tables.
Coffee was not restocked it had to be requested each day. The shower had poor water pressure. We would stay again but only at a discounted rate.
spacious, clean, new rooms. gorgeous bathroom. Location is perfect.
The restaurant, Aria, didn't meet our expectations on the quality of the food. We have to call twice the room service because the mini-bar was dirty with other people stuff and the didn't provide more shower gel.
The bathroom was nice, the beds were comfy and the TV was large and had HD channels. The staff member that brought us up extra towels and washcloths was very nice as well and the front desk staff seemed nice as well as all of the bell hops.
We had booked a "King or Double Bed" which I hadn't noticed (would have just gotten a king and thought I did), and weren't asked upon arrival which we'd like (could have changed but the wife didn't care). So I moved the nightstand and pushed the two double's together which worked out good. On the side of the room and where the nightstand was was filled with dust and other garbage. There were several tears in upholstery that we found as well and the room was fairly dusty. The faucet for the tub was interesting as well, I felt like I was going to break the faucet turning the water on. There is also a completely useless (or broken) piece below the tub spout that you can turn like a kitchen timer dial. We had no washcloths upon arrival either. Lastly, I found a key in my room which I turned in to the front desk and they seemed mystified as to what to do with it. Overall, I've stayed at much better for less.
The rooms were clean and the maid service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was excellent but pricey, with coffee about $34.
Very few amenities unless you pay extra and there were no drawers in the room.
