Fairmont Chicago was great accommodation great location and really clean and confortable
There wasn't anything not to like
Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly
The service was incredible. The counter staff was efficient and the hotel manager simply incredible
Location and view
Wifi is not Free
Location and atmosphere where fantastic. Paid almost half the posted rate, so in comparison to other hotels at the rate paid, well worth it. Staff promptly fixed issues with room.
Mini bar and coffee where not turned. Presumably dirty coffee mug still in room. Coffee maker leaked everywhere.
Hotel is really good, rooms are big and quite.
Parking is really expencive for one night. No swiming pool, breakfast ia not included and its really expencive.
Loved the location a short walk from everything with a decent view from the room we had overall satisfied
Our first room had blood smeared on the bathroom wall and the room we were transferred too didn't have the clean feeling either the inconvenience took 10min to sort out and felt like they didn't care
The staff were amazing! Rooms very clean and beautiful. The view was great, could see the lake , park etc.
I've stayed in many hotels. This one was world class! Love it!
Great hotel definitely will stay here again. Good value close to where I had to go
Comfortable beds and good location.
The water pressure in the shower and tub was quite low. It took me nearly an hour to fill the tub halfway.
Updated room with nice view. Beautifully decorated hotel for the holidays.
Sounded like really loud pipes making noise when person staying above us used the bathroom. Older hotel in that aspect.
Beautiful hotel with quiet, well laid out rooms. Great sushi restaurant with peppermint tea.
The pillows were hard. Other than that, everything was perfect.
It was my wife birthday weekend and I ask for a favor and the favor was to have a nice view to the lake and they did. And for that little favor I will be thanksful for the rest of my life. My wife is very happy..... ; ))
We stay for one night only
The staff at the Fairmont Chicago were all absolutely fantastic, they were so helpful throughout my stay!
Nice lobby and room facilities
Nobody pulled gate even if you have many laggages and nobody helped to arrange taxi
I loved how the lobby looked, it made me feel important and all the staff were nice and helpful. I loved how the bathroom is split into 3 parts, very cool. Great hotel.
If you guys had a mini fridge and microwave it would of been complete.
Rooms are excellent - nice layouts, separate wc, shower, bath, spacious Staff were very helpful
The upgrade to a suite on the Gold Floor. The attentive service.
The location is excellent and the atmosphere of the hotel is welcomeing any time you entered the hotel
The cleanliness is not that good compared to a 5 star hotel its poor regrading cleaning the bathroom
Staff is not friendly, and they speak to you like they are permanently in a hurry to do something else When checking out several EXTRAS appear on the bill...they charge you for whatever reason they can find, from receiving physical mail to dialing 800 phone numbers... No umbrellas when raining They seem to be more focused on housing external events than treating their customers as they should VERY NOISY AT NIGHT. JUST BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, not the best place if you are looking for a decent sleep.
Terribly maintained rooms.
Stunning views of Millennium Park, central location, comfy kingsize beds, access to Pedway, helpful and accommodating check-in staff when our booking.com reservation didn't show up on their system.
No swimming pool, no breakfast restaurant (or unclear where if there is).
The room was comfortable and spacious enough with some limitations (see What didn't you like). I loved the fitness room equipment, free weights and staff. The doormen were very friendly, accommodating and always welcomed you back to the hotel. It was so nice to be able to check in as soon as I arrived, which was at about 11 am.
The mattress padding kept coming off the bed in the middle of the night, the cleaning staff was loud in the morning (the maid's closet was right outside my door) and the pocket door into the toilet/shower area was almost impossible to move from its weight. Also, the location of the closet door to the bathroom door made it impossible to enter or leave the bathroom if someone was in the closet. Finally, why paid WiFi? That is so inconvenient.
Staff were all very friendly. Generally rooms were quiet.
People checking into the next room after midnight - and we could hear their conversation.
