All of the above-everyone was so nice
WiFi was so slow with many users-could not get on after Sat. pm
I have stayed a total of three times in the past 2 months. I love the cleanliness, comfort and the sense of safety that the hotel offers. There are nice extras like the fruit and cookies offered un the lobby. The breakfast is quite good. The bed andpillows are so comfortable.
Due to traffic it's difficult to enter or exit the hotel at times.
Spacious Room, well appointed, clean, comfortable, staff was great. Restaurant was great too.
What's not to like?
Everything. The staff was very guest oriented and eager to serve. The facility was extremely well cared for and clean and the heated floors in the bathroom were a plus We would definitely stay again.
Everything. The room was everything I could ask for. Large four post bed. Very spacious. Very happy
The wallpaper was peeling. Other than that. Excellent experience !
Our visit was excellent. Accommodations were wonderful including the breakfast which was complete and staffed appropriately.
Utmost importance - Very good pillows!
The lobby area is very nice. There is usually free coffee, fruit, crackers & cheese, and cookies in there. You get a free guest pass for the local gym and you can use the pool in another hotel in the area that is owned by the same company. Starbucks and the most well-regarded pizza place in the area--Naples Pizza--are literally across the street. I went to the pizza place. It was really good.
I don't know if this is now the case at all hotels, but in order to use the Wi-Fi, you must agree--via a message box pop up--to give the wi-fi provider (or whoever it is) permission to freely monitor and potentially use all information you access on the internet. Is this normal (maybe it is)?? I was too afraid to look at important information, so I walked over to Starbucks. My room was very nice, but did not smell as nice as the rest of the hotel.
Pleasant staff and comfortable lobby
Wifi was not great in room and lighting in bedroom was not adequate for reading bed skirt was missing and box cover was torn. Walls needed cleaning.
the staff and the ambiance
no chair in bathroom thought there is sufficient space for one, no hook in bathroom to hang robe our other items of clothing.
Large room, nice bathroom. Plentiful amenities in room. Location very convenient for my business meeting. Free coffee and cookies, continental breakfast was also a nice touch.
The bed was very firm. My wife found it uncomfortable. There were some ants and a spider in our bathroom. Not a huge deal but still worth mentioning.
Very clean Quite comfortable Good breakfast Friendly, helpful staff
Lots of stairs
room was very nicely decorated; bed was comfortable; staff were friendly and accommodating (had room available even at 11:30 am); Farmington has attractions within walking distance; exercise room is small but has (a few) good pieces of equipment; convenient to meetings in West Hartford.
TV in exercise room was broken (which was fine actually!)
the crackers at the evening welcome
you heard the neighbours upstairs walking through the room.
I guess at one time there was smoking in the room. Even if you wash the carpets, the walls, and the drapes that smell never goes away.
Furnishing is above the usual style
The first room was smelly but we were immediately upgraded to another room.
We liked the place from the very first moment. The young lady at the reception gave outstanding service. The room was large and clean. We stayed only 1 night during a road trip but would go there again if we where anywhere near this location. Naples Pizza on the other side of the road looks small and nothing special, but provides excellent service and outstanding pizza.
Usage of single usage plates and knifes for breakfast while requesting reuse of towels in order to conserve the environment is ridiculous. Why can't hotels just provide normal tableware as any restaurant?
The staff is very professional & courteous. The Inn is very quaint. We enjoyed our stay.
Everything was good
Very nice and comfortable and clean. The beds were great.
Breakfast was ok.
The Farmington Inn price was good, and location good, so we went with this location. Very pretty Inn. Booking.com worked great for us to book several rooms and people at the same time for a funeral we were all attending.
We had a problem upon check in. I ordered two king suites, as we were told there was a couch and frig in the King Suites, two regular queen rooms with two queen beds. One of the king suites was just as ordered, and expected. The second queen suite was a queen bed, and very small and no couch. We tried to get a different 'King Suite" explaining that a king suite with a king bed had been reserved and they said there were none left, and I explained we had reserved one, and she said that room actually WAS a king suite, even though it had a queen bed. I still don't understand that one. They ended up switching this family to a king regular room, which actually had a lot more room than the "king suite with the queen bed did". Then they charged us for the roll out cot for the replacement room, that we wouldn't have needed if we were given the king suite with the couch, as reserved. Then one of the queen rooms smelled either musty or cigarette smokey immediately after entering the room, so we were told that they would switch us to another room, which they did, without the canopy beds, so a bit of the ambiance was gone. One room wasn't cleaned at all when we were gone all day for the funeral, the family arrived back, the piece of bread which was on the floor when they left for the funeral, was kicked way under the bed, No one vacuumed, made beds, etc. They did put the new towels in the bedroom, tho. So, obviously someone was in there and decided not to clean the room that day. : ( When we checked out, the front desk tried to determine what went on, but it was obviously too busy at check out time to check on, albeit one day late.
Nice location and premises
Typical US hotel breakfast with plastic crockery and mediocre food.
Welcoming and knowledgeable staff - homeyness of facility - restaurant next door, nice nearby walks. Breakfast was excellent and replenished. Great value.
good location cheerful lobby etc
when we came for breakfast, everything was either low or gone (no eggs, yogurt etc) and the woman who was working there was chatting at the front desk, and moved very slowly. If I wasn't in a hurry, it wouldn't have been a problem. Also, was in room 214, room smelled slightly damp/moldy
