The bed,not so good,
Free Parking Quiet residential area Proximity to Cambridge
Wifi not accessible from room on 3rd floor
This apartment house/inn was convenient to Boston transportation and restaurants of every culture imaginable. The heater was not working but the staff promptly provided an efficient space heater. It was clean and offered what was advertised at a fair price.
Room included a sink, no toilet, but this was as advertised (bath in hall). Two bath towels were provided, but no hand towel, wash cloths or drinking cups. Minor inconvenience, but a personal touch that would have been appreciated.
Fairly priced especially with the promotion, Good location near to lots of restaurant Friendly staff
Old building and equipments, Spotted a bed bug on my last day there!!
Nothing. Keep away form this place.
This is place is creepy. If you like horror movies, this is a place to stay. Unclean, bad odors, unsafe, shared shower and bathroom horrible.
Subway (T) is w/n walking distance, 15 min from downtown Boston. Free parking is also available. Small fridge, microwave and toaster are available in the hallway.
Separating toilet and shower will be more convenient for common users sharing those facilities. The front Office space could be made more user-friendly!
The location was excellent. Really close to the green line T station and great restaurants abound.
The room was incredibly dirty. The fridge wreaked of mold. We only got one towel and no soap or anything. The room was freezing all night. The bed sheets were totally soiled. Overall, just really dirty and dingy. The room phone also didn't work. Don't expect to get a good nights sleep either. The walls are paper thin and people were running around and yelling all night.
The location, big, clean room in the more renovated part of the Inn.
The wi fi privé is high per day, iets beter to buy a week package.
Parking lot behind the hotel, Great location to start a trip to Boston
We found our door open and unlocked two times during our two night stay!!! The staff was non-existent...... The TV was the only nice feature in this unit.
Front staff were friendly and very accommodating.
Dead rats were in the room, which I found on the second night during my 4 day stay. The microwave did not work, there was dust all over in the rooms. I used a towel to sleep on the bed because I was disgusted with the unclean appearance of the rooms. Not worth the money at all!!!
Manager was very helpful
Still seemed rather expensive for location and age of the building.
We got offered an apartment for all of us instead several hotel rooms for the same price. Cleanliness and room nice. We had a very good stay and no problems
Vicinity to highway. Staff very courteous. Available parking
I needed a room with a private bathroom & for a higher price was easily able to secure one for the night I needed. The location was good since I had appointments and a procedure at a nearby hospital the following day. (10 min cab, 30 min bus). The Inn is also fairly close to Harvard Sq if you don't mind taking a bus. I was able to meet up with friends in Cambridge and later by the Inn. The room $165 with tax was spacious with a shabby chic interior. I felt like I was staying at a friend's. Many apartments in the area (Boston, Cambridge, etc) are rundown so after 6 years living in the city it was nothing new. The room was about the size of a livingrm or studio apt, with 2 beds, several windows, a small kitchen area with table & 2 chairs, and the full bath. If they would just fix it up a bit (new pillows? Winterized bathroom? New ceiling? Soap? Cleaning lady?) than it would be well worth the money & could possibly charge $200+ a night.
Although I'm used to staying in drab, dirty spaces, it's a little disconcerting when you pay $165 a night. You think at that rate the Inn could afford to renovate or at least clean up a bit.. The ceiling was falling apart, there was a hole in the ceiling with a pipe coming out of it, I found a live bug (centipede or something) wiggling across the other pillow when I first layed down and upon further inspection found seeds or ? On the mattress, under the sheet. Also, one of the towels was already used or possibly stained, a couple pillows looked old & gross, the sinks were not thoroughly cleaned, they provide no soap in the bathrm, and there's no heat in the bathrm & it was about 28 degrees that night so I couldn't shower. Initially the room was very warm, but after leaving the door open (upon the request of staff via a note tacked to the bathrm door) a few hrs, I was freezing in my bed and waking up every 45 min or so, uncomfortable & cold.
Bed, location was good enough, handy to the train
Shared bathroom wasnt as clear as it could have been, an very busy always waitin for shower no matter what time I woke up.
Having a separate living room with microwave
First room I was shown smelled of smoke. Room had no curtains, just broken plastic slatted blinds. Noisy. Heating not on during cold night. Microwave smelled of sour milk. Although mostly clean, every fixture/furnishing was shabby-looking. Appallingly overpriced.
the location was good, nice neighborhood. Needed an affordable place to stay at while in Boston. Every room is different, make sure you get a nice one. They'll be happy to show you Staff would help when calling (mostly not at the front desk, but no problem)
old furniture and interior
The place was within walking distance to the T station and offered free parking in back.
Tiny room, shared bath, very dirty, mouse traps visible, old place, reminded me of a night at a YMCA. For the $130 price, I really did expect better.
Victorian style bed room, hardwood floor, fireplace stonework
bathroom! toilet not attached firmly to the ground (wobbles), extremely strong smell of sent candles in the building, noise levels in the evening and around midnight too high
good localization & connections to downtown and Harvard
tidiness, mouse, smell, look, horrible shared restroom - seems like good place for horror movie. Definitely overpriced
A little hotel but very good and with a family ambiance.
The WiFi was very bad in our room.
Proximity to rail line and restaurants
