The Franklin Hotel  

We stayed at the Franklin to be close to our friends apartment. All we really dud was sleep and shiower there. Teeny room- comfortable.

Location and friendly and intimate atmosphere. I like the daily newspapers being available, the coffee etc. in the am is great as is the wine and cheese in the pm. Very much like a European pension.

Two things could possibly be improved but be careful of raising prices too much: The tv channels are very limited. No History channel or Masterpiece Theatre. Also, the software on the lobby computer did not have the most up-to-date version of flash installed. Therefore I could not print a boarding pass for JetBlue. It would be good to have a handy electrical plug on the desk or night-table for re-charging mobile phones... that also function as alarm clocks. there are lamps that have a plug in the base. Plugging phones in across the room on the floor is inconvenient.

Bed was comfortable Staff was helpful

Bathroom was inconvennient. Basin was not accessible! Could barely fit to space. And Im really petite. Need proten in breakfast. Very difficult for a Diabetic to eat . Only carbs were provided.

Staying at the Franklin reminds me of being in a European city. It has an old world feel but modern luxuries. It is located in a great residential neighborhood that does not have alot of hotel options.

The property was beautifullly appointed. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The breakfast and wine reception is a very nice touch.

I was pleasantly surprised with The Franklin Hotel as I picked it somewhat randomly for a business trip into NYC. It was very cozy, quaint, and had a very strong European feel to it. Would definitely stay again.

Convenient location near museums. Very helpful staff obviously trying to do their best for guests. Pleasant dining room for breakfast.

Room was very small with nowhere to put a suitcase except a tiny patch of floor. Plumbing or heating always noisy. Electronics (apparently new) did not work and staff didn't know how to work them; they had to bring me an old phone so I could contact the front desk. I feel that the price, though consonant with hotel prices in Manhattan, is a bit high for a hotel of this type.

Room was very comfortable, however, the bathroom was very small. Friendly staff. Would stay there again.

Не понравился шумный оконный кондиционер, не работающий на обогрев, в добавок, маленький номер и ванная далеко не такая, как описана у вас на сайте.

Amabilté du personnel, très correct + emplacement de l'hotel dans l'Upper Est Side quasi est quasi unique. Le wifi inclu dans le prix et illimité.

Prix très très élévé pour un trois étoiles. Petit déjeuner contidental un peu juste en qualité pour ce niveau de prix

Le personnel de l’hôtel a été très accueillant. La décoration est soignée et on se sent vite "comme chez soi".La chambre était très propre ainsi que la salle de bain .La situation est idéale à deux pas d'une station de métro et à 10 min du met, du Guggenheim et de Central Park. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et le vin et le fromage vers 18 h très sympathiques. Nous retournerions volontiers dans cet hôtel le cas échéant.
