We had an amazing stay. Alittle gem of an hotel. Perfect location, very clean, exceptional staff, great bar. Excellent value hotel. Will definately stay there again and would recommend to friends and family. All the staff, Colin, John and the guys behind the bar were great. We really enjoyed staying there. |

Somewhat small rooms compared to other New York hotels in the same price category - but ok when put in the overall perspective of what the hotel offered. |

Very intimate feel, comfortable bed, cozy atmosphere more like a country inn than a hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A bigger lobby would have been nice as a waiting area since I arrived in the pouring rain 2 hours before my room was ready. |

The room was well appointed, very clean, and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. We were dismayed by the fact that the hotel is accessible from the bar downstairs. On our first night, we were awakened twice, once at 1:30 am and once at 3:30 am by drunken yelling in our hallway, right outside our room. On the second night, we were awakened at 7am by the sound of furniture being dragged across the patio floor, in preparation to set up Christmas decorations. Suffice it to say, we had two awful nights. When we complained to the front desk, we were told that the manager would call on Monday (today) with a reduction of our payment. However, no one has called yet. |

Location Location Location, super beds, super shower, nice people, very accommodating. Please do not listen to the people who complained because there was only one small shelf in the bathroom or there was only one soap - or no "protien in the breakfast" - they offered continental breakfast, serial fruit, toast, croissants, good coffee etc. Get a Grip! If you want to stay in a palace pay two grand a night - this was a brilliant place to stay - period! |

The location is superb. The staff super super nice. The bar i visited once and our waitress was extremely nice. The morning breakfast another A++++ all the way. Fresh orange juice, coffee, and an assortment of croissants, muffins, fresh fruit, cereal. Everyone had a smile on their face, and i would always want to stay here if i travel to new york. i kept meaning to tell the front desk that the light above my mirror in the bathroom didnt work but im 50 and the mood lighting in the bathroom made me look younger so i opted to leave it alone, and not tell the front desk. |

We really enjoyed the location - very close to Times Square and with several good restaurants literally next to the hotel. Further we got upgraded to a small suite :-) ....and the "boutique style" of the hotel was also good (as I often travel with my job and have seen more than my fair share of Hiltons, Marriotts, Sheratons etc) Breakfast was OK, but selection was not what you'd reasonably expect for this price |

Been going to ny annually for five years. This is by far the best place - large, well-appointed rooms, totally quiet, near many restaurants and transit. The Continental breakfast was a bit thin. They need to include some protien options such as hard boiled eggs, also some fresh cut fruit. |

Convenient location, very helpful and attentive staff. Rooms at the front of the hotel noisy from the street below. Not a major issue, and a consequence of the good location |

An unbelievable and "New York" affordable find in the heart of Manhatten! Front desk staff staff were so helpful. The rooms were pristine. The King bed was the most comfortable ever! Our room faced the back and we didn't hear a noise or siren all night. Can't recommend this property highly enough! |

Comfy, well appointed room, very well located. Would like more soap. We had to share a small bar between the shower and the sink. I finally asked for more, but it was irritating. |

The hotel was very disappointing. We were going to stay 4 nights but checked out after one night. The rooms are too small. I needed a handicap bar in the shower which I was told would be there but wasn'T. The a/c was set at 71 degrees which is too high. The front desk turned it down but then turned up in the middle of the night so I had to call again. Breakfast had stale rolls and sour milk, no fruit for the ceral(we are getting our supplies tomorrow). All in all we couldn't leave fast enough. We went to the mariott marquis and for $100 more per night had a wonderful experience. Good luck.parks souther |
