Construction going on all around the hotel is horrible. Sometimes noise starts very early. Rooms are too small. Well.. it's NYC. Hotel is pricey for what it offers.
Location by subway was great. Whole foods is across the street. Hotel staff is very friendly.
April 18, 2015
Construction noise at night. Trucks outside the especially after midnight. Elevator makes a strange noise.
Location is great for shopping, eating and strolling down SOHO. A block away from subway to mid-town Manhattan. Foot-traffic is light so walking is easy.

No meals. Too expensive.
April 9, 2015
The beds were a tad too soft and felt very inexpensive, the sheets were poor quality.
Easy walk to Little Italy and China Town. Very clean facility with good amenities.
April 5, 2015
Extremely noisy. Poor cleaning. Unpractical design of rooms.
April 5, 2015
Minimal toiletries; lightweight bedding; linty new towels; the staff didn't refill our coffee supplies or toiletries; no fridge; pricey ($300+ a night); no lobby
Location; friendly front desk staff

The guys at the reception were very friendly! The room was clean and the bed was really Comfortable!

Ground floor is impossible to sleep on. I was here for relaxation and wish the woman would have warned me about construction and jack hammers outside the window before aggreeing to a ground floor room for convienence. The ladies that run the housekeeping also made it horrible. They spend every morning yelling through the hallways, gossiping about their life with each other--- just steps from my door. After hearing what they were talking about I then decided I did not trust them to clean my room. Very unprofessional and probably won't return back here.
Location was great as well as the arrangement of a car service back to jfk

Out room was a bit cold, but that's just NY in february, luckily the AC worked just fine.
Really enjoyed out stay, the hotel is situated prefectly between SoHo and LES, everything is within walking distance. Great value for out money and friendly staff, Anthony is just super! So helpful and welcoming, a real assett!

The WiFi and the helpfulness of the staff
January 28, 2015
Friendly stuff (one receptionist is outstanding actually, whereas one other not so great); location excellent to take walks through SoHo, on same road is Katz' Deli, Wholefoods Market, Subway Stations; room was very clean and nicely decorated; price in comparison to other hotels was good but NY in general is just overpriced. Overall experience was just really good.
January 27, 2015

Lots of street noise; window treatments let in a lot of light, small rooms (i.e. normal for NYC)
Nice staff, handy location for my needs, clean rooms

Cleanliness was very good. Good value!

No real lobby area, sort of an unwelcoming entrance and the rooms are very small for the amount you are paying
Beds were extremely comfortable, space was well planned out

rooms are very small
brilliant location, very quick good connection to subway, shopping (broadway, 5th avenue etc.) possibilities in walking distance, very friendly staff
December 28, 2014
The elevator on street level didn't work for the week I was there. The one in the lobby worked, but I use a cane, and having to use stairs together to the street every day was a challenge.
Staff were very helpful and friendly

Room was small.
The location was very good. I loved the street view and enjoyed the sound of the city. The room was super clean and the bed was great too.easy access to the subway.it was just what I was looking for in a good price.

tiny rooms Shower temperature not working very noisy very dated, not worth the price at all
location is good for soho and bowery
December 16, 2014
Area is noisy (there was also construction around). Not many restaurants, bars, shops, etc, within 5-10 minutes walk. Bedroom is small, decor feels dated, shower was not great. Not very good value for money (I payed around $240 per night).
Location was fine, close to public transport and "close" to nice places (20-30m walk). Bed was comfortable and wifi worked well. Staff was polite.
December 11, 2014
The air-conditioning / heating unit is extremely loud and hard to operate so as not to start up in the middle of the night. My room located on the 1st floor was really affected by street noise.
Location and the free wifi Receptionist was very friendly Room and bathroom was clean
December 11, 2014
Poor heating, noisy as on E Houston St, no facilities apart from the rooms. Room was very small. Hotel didn't even have a fork I could borrow...
Near soho, east village etc so decent for exploring that part of the city. Rooms not the worst i've ever stayed in. Internet worked. There was hot water
