Paying for parking!
Very fast free WIFI connection and free printing service which is excellent for business stay.
Excellent location and reasonable room rate. Quiet room even though it was across the street from the Fox Theater.
The charges for parking in downtown Atlanta seem out of line with the room charges. Other hotels in this same area also have high parking charges.
Hotel is close to the Metro Station North Avenue. Little coffe shop is nearby. Our bed was very small ca. 110 cm for two. Maybe we got a singel room? It was the coldest night since 45 years when we arrived. Instead of 4 minutes we was walking 30 minutes. Normally I don't get lost with a google map. But the mayn Peachtree Streets in Atlanta were confusing. We didn't complaine about the room, were glad to be at the warmth.
-Tired, worn out room. -Room amenities similar to Motel 6. -Low low water pressure. -Odd room layout. -Staff indifferent when asked if a less weathered room was available
excellent food excellent staff great value for 2 bed/ 2 bath suite PERFECT for 4 women traveling together
Lumpy pillows & mattress dated room furnishings & decor
Everything about my stay was wonderful! The location was perfect, my room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally helpful! Ivy at the front desk was courteous and professional. Trevor, the limo driver, was efficient and always on time
Not much this time.
Restaurant staff in P&P rudest on earth. Wallpaper peeling in room, blinds broken. I was injured and no follow up. All this for $271 a night plus parking. Go somewhere else.
Proximity to Fox Theater. It was perfect! Nice renovations!
P&B was too crowded and only 2 bartenders. Very hard to get a drink
The hotel staff is friendly, and the Livingston restaurant is good.
The room smelled...literally. It smelled as if someone was cooking breakfast at all times, like a greasy spoon. And there was a sewer like odor coming from the shower drain. I complained and they said housekeeping would take off. If they did, the odor never went away. Also only one mirror in the entire room, only one trash can in the entire room. Very disappointed with the room for the price paid.
If attending an event at the Fox Theatre, you can't beat this location. The staff is extremely friendly.
I'm accustomed to being nicer facilities for the price point of this hotel. It is need of deep cleaning and renovations.
Room was clean, staff was great (we switched rooms due to renovation construction being directly above us). P&P bar downstairs is great.
No refrigerator or microwave in rooms, could not connect to wi-fi, rooms are a bit on the small side but it is an old building
The service was excellent and the bed was awesome
Room was very warm
Like that building was repurposed
Decor tired; dirt in corners; could use a serious update
Washer and dryer in room!! Awesome
Beautiful lobby. Great location. Large suites.
I booked the Georgian Terrace for a week for a business conference. I was first assigned to a suite that looked and smelled ancient. The toilet ran all night. The heat could not be adjusted. It was very uncomfortable. I explained the issues to the front desk the next morning, and told them the suite looked nothing like what was represented in the pictures online when I booked. They moved me to another suite that still looked and smelled very old, explaining there were no renovated suites lower than the 17th floor. When I met up with my colleagues also staying there, not only had they been upgraded to a renovated suite, they'd been given the choice of several empty renovated suites on floors lower than the 17th. Although I was upset to the blatant lie I'd been told, I didn't want to make a big deal about it...but then my key was deactivated and could not be reactivated until their system came back up. At that point, I told the staff of my overall disappointment in the bald-faced lie. They apologized and covered my parking for the duration of the stay in lieu of moving my room AGAIN for only one night. While I appreciate the gesture, it did little to quell my overall disappointment with the hotel and my stay. To make matters worse, I thought my kitchen didn't have any utensils, glasses or plates until, on the last day, I opened my dishwasher to find it full of dirty dishes. Shame on you, Georgian Terrace. Such a beautiful, historic hotel with horrible management practices and customer service.
ROOM - outdated furniture, furnishings and appliances. Rooms are under renovation, which I was not told when I booked online.
What a great building! We were traveling to see a concert and had just as good a time in the eloquent halls of the georgian terrace. It has an awesome view from the roof access and the staff are very helpful. Spacious room with a very nice feel to them. We certainly will be back!
I cant think of anything I didn't like about the georgian terrace. We were super impressed with the value for the money!
The hotel suite was very nice. The bed was comfortable. I like the kitchen table set. The full kitchen was great too
There were no cooking cookware or utensils at all. The bathroom was very small. The view from our room was not good at all. The furniture in the living room was a little worn & somewhat out dated.
master bedroom to small
Staff and restaurant
Plastic cups no glasses Fair towels and wash cloth No mirror other then bathroom
No dishes or silverware in kitchen
My girlfriend and I had our first experience at the Fox theatre. We went to see Atlanta Ballet's Nutcracker which was amazing and had a room booked at the Georgian Terrace. The room had a view overlooking the Fox and we were upgraded to a suite free of cost. The bar downstairs Proof & Provision had a friendly staff and boasts the best whiskey sour i've ever tasted. It was a magical evening and it would not have been without the Terrace and their staff. Thanks!
I was extremely pleased with the front desk personnel's attention to details and respectful demeanor. I will definitely return to this hotel on my return visit to ATL.
