The staff is helpful and room is neat. Location is perfect for those who want to see the main landmarks in Atlanta. Highly recommended.
We were in town for a show at the Fox Theater. So this is about as convenient a location as you can get! We had a wonderful comfy room with great view.
The only thing I can remotely complain about was the restaurant for breakfast on Sunday morning. We walked in at 9 am, and before seating us the hostess informed us that she needed to ask the kitchen if they would be able to prepare our meal. A little bizarre? But she said there were several large wedding parties that were also eating then. I would think they would plan ahead for that. We were seated and everything was fine with the server and our meal.
Spacious rooms and historical architecture of building.
I had someone call my room pretending to be a hotel worker from front desk and get my credit card information, when the hotel already knew of the possibility of this happening but never warned me.

Waiting for lifts Wifi not working in room
The location is excellent. The breakfast was great.
The bed was not a queen and slept horrible. The blinds in the windows were bent and crumpled. The lighting in the bathroom was dim at best. I realize it's an old historic hotel, but I expected more for the money.

Staff seemed a bit preoccupied upon arrival. Night staff was amazing though!
old town feel
construction on the floors above :( vending machines don't take anything over a $1
The location was good.
This hotel is in serious disrepair. We moved out of our first room because it was horrendous and looked like maintenance hadn't been done in 40 years, into a "remodeled" room, but it was readily apparent it was a half-hearted facelift. The old carpet was still in the room, the door clasp was broken (looked like someone had previously broken into the room as three of the four screws were missing and the door jam was busted up). Why on earth would a hotel on a busy city street not install sound proof windows, I don't know but this place didn't. From 30 feet away the room looks great, but upon normal inspection it's clear the fit and finish needs a lot of work...or just better craftsmen? The towels are old and worn, the carpet stained, the door was broke, no refrigerator or ice bucket, etc etc. This place purports to be a top-level hotel, but it is not....one can get a better room at an average La Quinta. Oh yeah, the television service was a joke, no HD, and almost all channels were grainy. We left seriously disappointed.
Location is amazing
People talking in the hallways didn't let me sleep one night
The location, the staff, and the atmosphere, all of these were wonderful.
There were no handicap bars available in the showers. I recently broke my femur and need some sort of "protection" when I take a shower. There were no showers available that even had bars in them. While the staff tried to help in every way they could it was still a little scary for me when taking a shower.
The convenience location and the comfort of the room and warm personalities of the staff
The wait time for the elevator
Wifi The P&P Bar / Justin (Manager) Bed - very comfortable / room lovely Front Desk Service TV in the room Cafe
P&P Bar closed too early, earlier than stated time Vending machine access / room service poor Service in the Livingstone Bar - nowhere to be seen when I tried it. Breakfast average. Hotel needs an upgrade - power sockets old and not that safe; fittings a bit on the old side - carpets in the landings bit old - door of the room needs upgrade -
The moment I spoke to Antoinette over the phone, I knew my stay was going to be special. Aside from the poorly trained barista at Mim's and no working ice machines or actual vending machines on my floor, this hotel will remain my only choice whenever I visit Atlanta. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Lack of vending machines.
The rooftop pool and the view from there in the evening were excellent.
I loved the customer service and the rooms were fantastic. Everything was delivered to our room super fast and I was very impressed!!! This means so much to me.
The only bad part of our stay was the 8am wake up call Monday morning by the folks working on the tile (or at least that's what it sounded like...) right above our room. There was hammering and all sorts of crazy loud noises. I had ear plugs in and it still annoyed me! We are from the West Coast and were at the end of an action packaged, tiring vacation so I would have loved a little more sleep! But everything else was wonderful so it's all good :).
Staff: no bell man was able to carry our luggage to and from our room
Brent the Concierge was fantastic, never steered us wrong. 2 bdrm 2 bath suite was perfect set up for 2 friends to get together after having not seeing each other for 3+ years. Everything was a short cab ride or within walking distance.
No rooftop bar at the pool.
very nice hotel and friendly staff
as the parent of a young boy, I was extremely disappointed to show up and realize it is Black Gay Pride weekend at the property. I would have liked to have been informed of this at time of booking.
lack of sleep
The location was great; near all the attractions of the zoo, aquarium, etc.
Housekeeping came to clean the room while we were out. Someone left the pillows on the floor, didn't give us fresh washcloths and towels. A rag was left in the kitchen area, not sure what was cleaned with it.
Staff members were friendly and helpful. And the location was ideal for walking and exploring midtown Atlanta.
Room was great. Views were beautiful. Staff members were friendly and helpful. We loved it!
Location was good
