very poor and smelly breakfast, once you get out of the breakfast room the smell stays with you forever.
location, size of the rooms, comfort
We had a better room the last time we stayed there and this time we had a smaller room that was not to our liking for the amount of money that we were paying. Very disappointed. We will think twice for our next visit to that part of town.
Love the location and property as well as the staff.
Location was out of the city, 30 min. by car, although i had searched as Buffalo center
The rooms were very dark. No lights. I had difficulties to dress up and find my stuff in my luggage.
The location was perfect. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We really loved their secured parking and the view of 19th floor.
Beautiful hotel. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Nothing major, just had a little difficulty regulating the temp so it was comfortable.
The lounge & staff
Brought our car over in morning and had to climb over an ice bank to get in
The one thing that we didn't like was that you can't see the falls from the hotel. I'm guessing you probably would be able to see them from some of the hotels on the Canadian side.
There were a lot of things. The hotel was very beautiful. The staff was absolutely amazing. For example, we called down to check where the ice machine was, and they offered to bring it up to us, along with some freshly baked cookies that were delicious. The hotel is in the New York side of Niagara Falls, so you don't need a passport or anything to get to it. The room was very nice and ornate. The lounges were very well layed out, and there is a lounge at the top of the hotel that you can get a really nice view from. It was all around a very nice stay.
Nothing. Will stay again
Room was great Breakfast was good Staff were very helpful Free parking
Not much to do at all on American side of falls in winter.
Beautiful boutique hotel-best hotel on American side of falls. Clean, comfortable, beautiful and cool Art Deco decor. Breakfast good
No wine opener came with the wine ordered prearrival
Decor Comfort of bed Staff Free breakfast
Architectural gem with a wonderful lounge on 19th floor, amazing bar (and bartender!), fireplace, nice selection of wines, location
I was given a free upgrade on check-in. The breakfast (included with rate) each morning was delicious. My room had a fireplace with a view of the Falls. Great, comfortable bed. The hotel is walking distance to the Falls and casino, among other things.
While the room was cleaned nicely, the bathtub was not cleaned properly on one of the days. Also, the temperature control in the room was confusing to use.
The decor was lovely, the furniture was very comfortable, and the staff was fantastic. Really liked the valet parking.
The bed is a bit soft and the pipes are doing noise by night sometimes.
The staff is super and the hotel very clean. We really enjoyed our stay!
Breakfast was hot and fresh. Great views from the observation deck.
The quality of the service ,great breakfast
Staff was really great.
Staff very pleasant. When we arrived our room was 67 degrees and when I asked at the desk they said it will warm with movement in the room. The staff managed the temp and it was not going up. The manager came and told me that the room was not moving so he handed me keys for a new room and apologized. That is excellent customer service and free valet parking. We will stay again. Staff were great
The only slight criticism is that the low atmospheric lighting can make the rooms seem a little dark. But that adds to the charm
The hotel has a lovely atmosphere. It is brilliantly located and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
the room was cold and took a while to heat up.
the room was very spacious and I loved the "older" style decor versus the "new" hotel chain look.
We didn't had any kind of problem in this hotel. Everything was good. Totally recommend it if you are going to Niagara Falls.
Heat turns down by itself and controlled by the front desk
Would be nice to have an in house restaurant
With each and every visit to the Giacomo, I am always greeted by the most friendly staff and they honestly go out of their way to accommodate any thing that I may require. Joy, the Manager, is one of the best and most professional Managers I have run into in a long time, and I am a frequent traveller. My highest recommendations to this small boutique hotel!!!!
