The rooms are cold. Reception is not accessible for at least an hour at night shift change.
great location - no bed bugs - good breakfast included
sheets were not changed daily as advertised - shower and bathroom floor not cleaned daily- glasses not clean, just half hearted wiped ( milk rings) - parking difficult for pickup truck and limited space
Location and facilities. Breakfast was excellent.
Close to Niagara Fall, breakfast was good.
Room was not ready by 4:00 p.m. check-in time, wasn't ready until 5:00 p.m. Valet parking, even though parking lot was just across street, inconvenient to access car. Carpet in room was stained in several places, looked dirty. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling. TV remote didn't work, asked housekeeping to fix or replace, which didn't happen. Bathroom sink drained very slow. Had to call front desk to get toilet plunger to flush toilet.
Everything was wonderful.
If you say you have valet parking, then have someone outside to greet your guests. Need to have larger sized bathrobes for your guests. One size only fits some - not most.
Breakfast was fabulous. Room was well decorated. Loved the walk in shower. All the staff was courteous and very friendly.
Location has many unoccupied buildings. Room needs electrical outlets for cell phones, Ipads, ect. Room needs brighter lighting.
The room and bathroom were wonderful Breakfast was really good fresh and hot
The car parking arrangements Check in Noisy vents next door
The Giacomo was very clean and comfortable and within walking distance to NF State Park and the Rainbow Bridge to Canada. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. Would recommend and would stay there again.
The only thing we didn't like was the lack of lighting in our room. We understand they are trying to set an atmosphere and not have a glaring overhead light, but one or two more lights or higher wattage would have been preferable.
Location of the hotel is excellent. Staff is very friendly lounge at 19th floor gives good vies of Niagara Falls
The rooms were lovely and very clean. Bathroom was big and the robs a treat!
This hotel was great, modern rooms with plenty of space. We rented the king suite with jacuzzi tub. The tub was great though we didn't use it much. Robes are awesome, staff was great and took care of us for our stay.
The fridge had some issues but they gave us a credit for the troubles. But wasn't s big deal to us.
The location, by walking you can go to the niagara falls and its park.during our stay there was some activities around the hotel musical bands, bazar etc.. Free Valet parking.
The valet: It took about 25 minutes to bring my car back.it happend when I was going to the airport.
Decor and courteous manager
Neighborhood! Within walking distance to American Falls, but in a blighted area. A bit scary. No where to go in the evening.
Location was great, although a little difficult to find. Loved the chocolates. Funky decor. Easy walking distance to the falls, and nice dining. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Valet parking for free!! Car is in a safe, locked parking area.
First room had non-functioning AC. They quickly offered us another room, which was significantly smaller, no view, but cooler. Thought they would have offered a discount, or a better room for the inconvenience of having to repack and move all of our things to another room.
Everything was perfect
Random fire alarm but you can't do much about that and room wasn't booked for 2nd night but they were able to make it right even though the Jacuzzi room wasn't available
Location, bathroom, bed
Room only partially cleaned one day out of three. Not much additional facilaties. Small amount of storage space in room.
Location and price were good.
We stayed from Monday - Friday the hotel wasn`t very busy in fact one morning we were the only ones at breakfast and the most we saw at sittings were 8. Despite lack of customers we were given a room overlooking the visitors centre (not good) where they could have given us a much more pleasant view looking over the falls. A minor point maybe but these things help to enhance your stay.
Towel had a litlle dirty and bloody, celling had pipe and when you sleep see bad viwe, aircondition was not work for heat, when in next room speak togheder I can hear their noise, and money was expensive.
Nice rooms, quiet and clean.
Location is just across the park entrance. Instead of having 2 room, we got the suite apartment which was very large with Pool table and Jacuzzi in the bathroom
Having only 1 bath in the Suite apartment.
Rooms . Drain pi
Location was good for visit to the Falls. Decor in the room was very nice.
For the price and based on the description of the hotel and room, we were very disappointed with the very small size of the room, and the "view" of another hotel apprxoimately 10 feet from our window! The so-called sky-view room available to guests had no real view of the Falls.
We have a fabulous stay at The Giacomo! Our room was beautiful, the front desk staff was so helpful, breakfast was wonderful-- all around excellent! It was so close to the state park, which was a huge benefit. Beautiful place!
We liked the room and it was pretty comfortable. Some of the fixtures and rug were not installed very well. The wall to wall carpet had ripples and some bath fixture were not great working order.
The Breakfast was very bad. The food was "Comfort Inn" quality and the dish person was smashing dishes together the whole time. It was not very pleasant or comfortable. For $300 per night I would think an "in room" service would be much better.
Enjoyed the great location to N. falls and corner room location was awesome. Bathroom well done, decor creative Got an awesome room rate thru booking.com. Staff at desk remarked how great the deal was for the king corner room we obtained.
No pull over area for valet parking & no attendant outside. Inside guest staff seemed understaffed but willing to help when available but single person was multi tasking, answering phone and 3 people waiting at desk for help.
