Small room, yet excellent amenities! The bathroom was very nice and large.
balcony with street view. room. staff. everything.
Breakfast is poor compared with the price
Compared with other hotels in manhattan, large room, european furniture and very clean
Our first two rooms didn't have working thermostats and the people who came up to deal with then didn't seem to have a clue where the controls were or how they worked. Eventually we were given a very nice room that worked.
The balconies even if the smallest are only a foot deep. Nice to be able to step out and gauge the weather.
I came to celebrate my 21st birthday. I live in NYC, but in a dorm and wanted to celebrate my big day with a group of friends. I told the hotel upfront we would be a little loud, and they didn't give me a hard time about it. The room was huge with a great view, and a balcony! I seriously plan on coming back again.
Nothing. We will stay here again!
first greeting was so nice as we arrived very early, but the staff was delighted and helpful to store our luggage and then they called us when the room was ready, hours earlier than is normal. Just really accommodating!
The amenities and the price
This hotel was on a blocked street, so I had to walk to it in the pouring rain, and then i was not accommodated and walked over to the dreadful, dreary tourist hotel, The Roosevelt. Arggh
room too dark
Room was not ready when I arrived at 2:30pm
Decent size rooms for NY
Argumentative staff and all night night construction project noise
Had some tv issues that were fixed by the maintenance guy (he was at the door in less than 2 minutes). Time Warner remote barely worked though.
The king room we stayed in was the largest I've encountered in NYC. Bathroom was very clean and modern, and the bed seemed larger than the typical king sized bed. Only 3 rooms on each floor made it seem more private which was nice.
No view. Shower pressure low.
The bed was super comfortable. The terrace is an added plus. Was able to check out a half hour late.
on 4th day we found we had no hot water in our room. After 4 hours they moved us to a different room. We packed up everything and moved to a room also with out hot water. No hot water for the last 16 hours of our stay. No apologies. No offer of solution, I asked if they had a kettle we could use.
Location made all the main tourist attractions within walking distance.
the lobby was a bit to hot in temperature
How close it was to everything. It was just 15min walk to anything we wanted to do
can't think of any
Location Staff Accommodation Comfort
No Coffee in Room or Available at Lobby
Great hotel, got a great deal for dates I was there. Location is super convenient. Staff very attentive. WiFi very stable and great speed.
View of brick walls.
Location. Clean. Friendly staff.
The room was cold and the temperature could not be adjusted
Perfect location to everything the city has to offer. Friendly and professional staff. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer. Will be the only place I stay in NYC if rooms are available
Front desk girl authorized a deposit of $900, although we asked for a cash one and the total cost was around $400. We informed them in advance that we would pay in cash at a check out. It all was nothing for a front desk. As a result - First, due to the holidays season, it took our bank around 10 days to cancel the authorisation and $900 we frozen on the account so we were not able to use them. Second, we lost on the exchange rate. Advice to the hotel administration - please revise your policy. It is not foreign-guests friendly.
Location is just perfect, no need to get into details just look at the map. Very simple interior, stylish, no arabesques and pomposity so popular in the top brand hotels. Bathroom is great, clean, light and sanitary equipment is of a good quality.
Wi-fi strength is a little inconsistent, bar shuts a bit too early 10.30-11.00pm. Breakfast could be slightly better.
Love this boutique hotel in NY. Rooms are great, service is generally excellent and personalised and is in a great location.
Rude staff including the GM
Balcony for each room
we were given 2nd floor and balcony was part of roof system that had access to other areas...and our window wouldn't lock. Also, its a "small thing" but other referencing hitting their leg on the bed frame that sticks out...my wife did it 3 times...and had a big bruise...door man was useless
location is great, bed is comfortable
