Location Decor Comfortable Bed Great Service, friendly
Close for walking distance of downtown attractions and restaurants.
Very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Loved the sauna/jacuzzi/fitness ctr. Staff was very friendly. The staff knew my sister had her 25th wedding anniversary and had a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for them on in their room. Very much appreciated.
Mainly got because it had a pool. The pool closed at 530 and wasn't set up for children.
Staff was excellent and knowledgeable. the accomodations were outstanding for the price we paid. The location was perfect for a stroll to the Target Center for the concert we were attending. Overall, it was one of the best weekends we have ever spent in the city!!
We have stayed at other Kimptons and The Grand Hotel is our new favorite! We received upgraded rooms and early check in. The hotel itself is lovely, from the delicious scent as you enter, to the doormen, the valet and the friendly bartender. We would definitely stay at The Grand again.
Not a thing.
Nice retro themed hotel in the center of town. Wonderful staff and good service. The complimentary cycle was great for exploring the city and nature trails over the weekend. Room was plush and well appointed.
No ramp for luggage at front door steps. Fittings and decor may appear a bit old fashioned to some.
Comfortable bed. Restaurant in the hotel.
The lighting in the bathroom.
Amazingly big bathroom with bathtub to soak in after a long day. And the wine table late in the afternoon was a pleasant surprise. Certainly will be staying there next time I'm Minneapolis!
Free wine bar 5-6 PM. Comfortable room. Front desk immediately sent up a map of area when asked. Front desk personnel and door staff very friendly and welcoming. Location
A bit pricey for the product. Breakfast buffet not great considering it was fairly meager and cost 14.99--the tip of 3.00 was added into the bill automatically. It was comparable to cheaper chain hotel's FREE buffets. Also it is set up in the hotel restaurant's second floor steak and sushi restaurant, which is a bit of a weird atmosphere at 7AM, and they also almost keep it a secret, as I only overheard about it as another guest was asking the front desk about breakfast. I had just assumed they had no breakfast other than room service, which is advertised in the room. Room service would've been close to the same price and there would've been no chopsticks and bottle of wine on the table with me!
Sleek decor in the lobby area. Just blocks from nightlife and restaurants. Rooms you'll hate to leave! Gorgeous hotel.
The beds were amazing
Great location - easy access to everything downtown. good room, good bed and importantly - quiet.
Very nice staff. I liked the sushi restaurant.
The Saturday buffet was weak, with few options. Room service was better.
I was incredibly impressed by the caliber of the hotel and services for the price. Wow! They upgraded me to a nicer room free of change. Great location too.
Nothing to complain about at all.
It was fantastic. The people at the desk were outstanding!!! You've done a great job.
I paid over $600 for a suite in the Grande Hotel in Minneapolis. The "view" was of the adjacent part of the hotel. We looked out of our windows directly into another set of windows to other rooms. I expected a view of the city for the amount of money that the room cost.
Stayed a weekend purly for down town and swimming pool and gym included, Had a great rate for two nights
Valet parking more expensive then Valet told on arrival, suggest park yourself as many parking places close by.
I loved the gym, pool, and very friendly staff. Location was great as well.
There was no complimentary breakfast, parking was confusing, and the room was smaller then i had expected for the price. I stayed in an Atrium king suite, and the room was very small, very nice, and comfortable just small.
Luxurious rooms, very nice, helpful staff. Food at bar was very good.
one of the best hotels I have been to. great environment, great staff, great place.
everything was brilliant about hotel and location and really enjoyed our stay
The beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed the free wine at the bar. Courteous staff. Clean room with great amenities.
great service, lovely large rooms
Great rooms, very spacious, very comfortable beds; good room service but limited choice of food
Some staff are helpful, others don't care. It's a disadvantage that cleaning personnel doesn't understand English. When asking for a cab at reception, I didn't get an official taxi though I had stressed that I only wanted an official one.
