The on-premises Rare Restaurant was woefully understaffed, resulting in long wait times at breakfast. The Hotel must accept responsibility for the deficiency inasmuch as the restaurant is not in the least advertised on your premises, and the staff does not even mention its on-premises existence when queried about locations for breakfast, etc. Sure, "The Hen House" is great, BUT it seems that "management" prefers a non-disclosure policy regarding the restaurant. If you permit resources to lease space or whatever, then you have a responsibility to be sure that service doesn't fail. The operation reflects on the hotel per se, not on some unfortunate subsidiary renting space. For shame!!
The staff was OUTSTANDING: friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and wonderfully interactive. Kudos to the staff.
The room's bed (room 812) was exceptionally comfortable, and the appointments pleasant and interesting. Some re-design consideration might be give to the room's layout, however, given that the bathroom was IMMEDIATELY next to the head of the bed. A bit awkward, to say the least (The sound of the door and the flushing did nothing to enhance sleep!).
The location was particularly convenient to the Light Rail (a great experience in itself), and provided easy walking-distance access to various restaurants, including those at Nicolette Mall.
