Getting our car to the hotel's front door was a nightmare. May I suggest that you send your guests (especially those that are driving in and are not familiar with the city) instructions on the best way to get to your front door.
The room was VERY clean and the bed comfortable. The guys at the front door were great, very personable and helpful.
We ran into the large bed posts several times in the small room. The room was smaller than expected with barely any sunlight. It seems overpriced and probably too fancy for our needs.
We received champagne and a sweet personal card to help celebrate our engagement. Staff was all positive and kind. The gym was awesome!
Very close to the Metro, very handy location.Had a problem with a charge that was not mine, but front desk took care of it immediately.
Spacious rooms, great bathroom; good location convenient to downtown restaurants, Gutherie theater.
Elevators, the Wi-Fi cost money and the cost to park your car was annoying.
We attended a nba game and the hotel is in walking distance to the target center so that was awesome! The hotel was well kept and clean. The elevator was a bit weird. Sometimes it wouldn't move so you would have to open the doors and then try again. Other than that we were impressed witness our beautiful room. Wish their bath tub was a little bigger but still very nice. We would definitely stay again!
Did not have a bad experience but charging for wifi seems antiquated. If you are a Karma member wifi is free.
Friendliness of all the staff. It helps to belong to Kimpton's Karma program. The bed was super comfortable. A sleek oversized chair and ottoman was also very comfortable. The bathroom was laid out very cleverly and I'd like to take it home! High quality bathrobes, later we purchased one for each of us.
We got a handicap room and the bathroom door was very noisy and Inconvinient
Would have liked to have had a jacuzzi style tub or spa tub available.
Really enjoyed having the fitness facility available.
i liked it all.
It was perfect for my future wife it was were i proposed.
would prefer coffee already in room for AM
Access to great exercise facility. Beautiful room and lobby.
Because of traffic flow on street, it is hard to have easy pick up and drip off. Arrived late, after calling to let them know, but reception was manned by folks who could not check us in - had to wait 5 minutes or more for someone to show up that could check us in. Having to pay for wi-fi in the room or join a club to get it for free is ridiculous.
Bed was very comfy, room quiet, well appointed.
Toliets (when flushed) are ear deafening, expensive wifi
Valet and bellhop staff were not very friendly, attentive, or helpful with heavy bags.
Great room and hotel, was wonderfully decorated and close to nice restaurants and bars.
We got upgraded to a beautiful corner room without asking and without an increased rate. The room was beautiful and clean. Loved the early 1900's feel to it. The lounge had that same cozy feel to it. All the staff were friendly. Couldn't have asked for any better and am so glad we chose this hotel.
I liked this hotel nice staff & friendly. Beautiful hotel!
Fantastic customer service. The bathtub was incredible!
Constant noise humming in room from adjacent mechanical room. Very loud heater in room. Not a good place to get a nights sleep. Staff said nothing to be done but move.
Did have to pay for off site parking, which adds up over a couple days. Nothing horrible though.
A beautiful place for a romantic getaway, and a great value for the money. Unfortunately didn't have time to use the fines facility...the bed was just too comfortable to get up early!
Could not get the wifi to work.
Everything! We where upgraded to a luxury suite, since it was my friends birthday. So unexpected and such a sweet surprise! The room was a dream! Staff was so wonderful, helpful and even called to check if we were happy with our stay!
Unconvenient with public parking , so we have to walk across the street in freezing tempeture.
Wine hour and happy hour at the hotel bar. Close to the Literail for easy transportation. Bathrooms were exquisite as well, along with the food for room service.
Greeted with wine on arrival and upgraded, separate shower and bathtub (w TV) almost made me want to take the time for a soak.
$200 a night and no internet no parking
The room was nice bathroom was awesome
Ambiance Great food and service Excellent gym wine hour happy hour breakfast coffee Five star all the way!!!
Hard to block out light coming in at night from building next door. It was under construction with no window treatments on it and bright temp lighting was on all night. But the big problem was two large dogs barking late at night in the room right under ours. Staff moved us in our PJ's to another part of the building so we could sleep. We were told the hotel had to move several customers from two floors because of the same problem. They said they couldn't reach the customers who were apparently out late and had left the dogs alone. However, the barking started the very next night even though the dogs' owner was reportedly present with them. I called the front desk and complained and assumed something would be done. But the barking continued well after we went to bed. So we had to pack up and move across the street. The dogs and their owner should have been kicked out, or at a minimum, moved to a more secluded part of the building rather than expect the other guests to relocate. Manager should have been fired.
Location is good and room was very nice.
