Not too shabby for the price. No luxury items here and that's fine for the yearly trip to Peoria.
This hotel is in desperate need of rennovation, but that would probably bring up the price.
location was great! The morning breakfast women was very nice and helpful! TV was in good shape!
Its was the dirtest hotel I have ever stayed in! there was mold and water damage every where! Wall paper was coming off walls! the sheets had lots of stains! Carpet was away from wall! there was rust on any metal in room! there is no hot tub or refrig. or microwave! tried to check in early bc car broke down and the staff was very rude and unhelpful! pool was closed on sunday until check out in my opinion work should be done during week when less busy! we paid extra for this hotel and we will never go back it was the worst stay ever any where in US!
That it was plenty of smoking rooms n I couldn't get one
Did not know name had been changed ,made it hard to locate
good price, clean room
carpet in elevator was dirty
We liked the staff; the pool; the room; housekeeping; helping us find our way to where we were going; So many pluses!! Special thanks to Sally, Katy, Amanda, Linda, Bill Fahy; Brad, Kiesha. I didn't get the names of all the housekeeping ladies but they were so personable and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay there.
The location. It was hidden off a back road off of War Memorial Drive. You could see their sign but getting to it was another thing. Once we found out how it was fine.
The indoor pool wasn't bad..
The breakfast is horrible and you have to beg for silver ware. pool towels where dingy and little and th comforter on our bed had ketchup or something all over it, the second room had someone's underwear in the chair..just a dump we cancelled our second night. We would have left the first night but we didn't get there until 1 am and there was no place else available. .
They had a pool, fitness center and free continental breakfast.
The chair in the room was torn, the paper cups that held our drinks leaked, the bed was very hard, and the shower curtain had mildew on the bottom of it. We were told their breakfast ended at 10 a.m. (it ended at 9:30 so they brought out pastries for us, but they were stale). Their was a sound of dripping of water when the air kicked on every 5 min. The a/c blower made a grinding sound & it rattled badly. This prevented me from sleeping so I shut it off at 7:30 a.m. so I could sleep and it became very hot in the room. I went down and told the front desk attendant about it at 9:35 a.m. when I woke up. She said they can't do anything about it since I didn't tell them that night so they could send maintenance in to fix it or switch our room. I explained that it was 1 a.m. when the noise started (we didn't check in until 11 p.m.), I didn't want to be inconvenienced by moving all of our stuff to a different room or with a maintenance person entering our room that late. I also didn't want to complain that night and potentially upset or insult the person staying with me since he suggested staying there (for the price). Still no discount was given or charges refunded. I will not stay with them again. I could have stayed at a nicer, cleaner, local hotel without a/c issues for a comparable price.
For the price it pretty decent, it kinda of out dated but it very quiet for sleeping and the staff was extremely pleasant. It's location is really nice, just off a major roadway and several things in the area like shopping mall and plenty of food places, and your only minutes from down town.
Just that its outdated looking. Pool was kinda cool. And landscape could look.better outside, try to make it look more presentable.
Staff was friendly.
Old. Phone on room not operational. Bed was hard. Noisy.
....it was available
...its old, the carpets in the passages smell, too few towels in the bathroom, it was falling apart inside....
pool was freezing, there were no pool towels left when we got there at 8pm pillows were super thin
the flags on ceiling
remote area, away from downtown, grounds needed attention, inside lobby looked unattended, looked like they were closing for the season. wanted to check out and go somewhere else instead and last but not least the cockroaches in the bar. disgusting!!!
The hot breakfast..
On the site it shows a hot tub..which there isn't one..also the whole smelled of marijuana..it was horrific just to come out the room..
-Comfortable room -Great breakfast included in price -Friendly staff -Great amenities: nice pool, gym, electronic games, restaurant -Great price for all the inclusions
-The bathroom looked clean, except for the tub and grout; could have been stained, but it made it appear as if it wasn't clean.
the price was just excdllent
the food was not tasty at all I ate dinner there and didn't go back for the free breakfast that was offered the first impression was a last impression
Very outdated. Noisy inside rooms from people in lobby
Free breakfast was ok.
The pool area was not properly lighted. I shocked people did not fall and break something. Getting bath towels was next to impossible. I asked the front desk attendant the night before for towels. His response was, we'll have some tomorrow morning. Well tomorrow morning came and went. Finally after harrassing the management of house keeping I receive a towel at noon. By that time it was already check out time. This hotel is a good stay if eveything is sold out in the area. That's it!!!
This has got to be the nastiest hotel I ever stayed at ! There was dried food around the bed post, the bathroom sink was cracked, the tank cover on the toilet did not work. And to top it all off there were cockroaches in the room. The pictures on booking .com do not tell a true story of the hotel. I am very upset about this.
Staff was very friendly, lobby/atrium was well maintained. Location was centrally located to all the sites we were visiting.
The third floor ceiling throughout the entire wing were very water stained and in extremely poor shape. Including the ceiling in our room. Outlets were loose and half didn't not work. Shower head was loose and paint was peeling from the ceiling in the bathroom and over the shower.
The pool was a nice asset. The bed was comfortable.
There was a small amount of blood splatter on the bathroom floor. On the way to the pool, the men's restroom was leaking into the hall. The towels in the pool area were very small so you needed 3 to dry off. My first contact with the front desk person, she didn't even look up at me while she addressed me.
Location, space, ease of booking
Extremely dated. furniture, carpet, decor.....all old. Carpet smelled dirty.
We reserved a room with a king size bed, microwave and refrigerator. They initially put us in a room with a queen size bed. When we brought this to their attention they moved us to a room with a king, but it did not have a microwave or a fridge. And the phone did not work. Also, there were only 4 flimsy pillows on the bed. No bed skirt. There was a bad smell in the hallway. Carpets were worn.
Room was clean.
Room was dated and had peeling wallpaper. Felt we were put in the basement. Cigarette burn on the carpet when you walked into the room. Didn't like having an "attached" room.
