Beautiful reception abd it is the nearest hotel to the grand canyon
There was some constitution going on but it was ok , didn't botter much
Gracious staff, comfortable and well appointed rooms, nice public areas and even a fantastic restaurant just minutes from the park entrance - couldn't have asked for more!
The people in a nearby room who burned their popcorn in the in-room microwave! Phew!
Close to park entrance. Nice place to stay
Hotel was clean and comfortable with staff that were very quick to repair our non-functioning toilet.
The toilet in our room did not flush, we needed a service call. Disappointed that the pool and spa were out of service - no mention that they would not be available when we booked the room.
We liked the way that the staff were so good and friendly. Also the hotel was clean all round, and nothing was broken, it was all very modern and new.
The only slight issue was that food wasn't all exclusive. This wasn't too much of a problem for there was a nice restaurant in the hotel but unlike most hotels you had to pay.
Updated rooms are great, staff very friendly, and location is perfect.
Restaurant was overpriced and the service was terrible. The restaurant was not even 25% full and we waited a considerable amount of time for our food and hardly ever saw the waiter. He then added 2 drinks on to our bill that we did not have. This was corrected, but I would not recomend the restaurant
Renovated room comfortable. Foreign waiter helpful and friendly offering good tourist advice.
Got the impression that staff knew you were here today and gone tomorrow.
Location was great. Beautiful building but currently under construction.
Really nice place, modern rooms, great location, great price, very close to Grand Canyon National Park.
Nothing bad just construction taking place. Made it hard to get to the pool. By the time you read this it will probably be finished.
The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The renovation is absolutely beautiful. Location couldn't be better.
Wonderful location close to the south entrance of grand canyon national park. Very spacious and comfortable rooms
Modern updates, perfect location, great price!
About 20 minutes from the Canyon. Lovely staff.
hot tub dining music in dining room fireplace in lobby
Front desk staff very pleasant. Room was very nice.
The renovation was a distraction, although they did their best to keep it non-invasive.
Restaraunt had limited staff so could not eat there.
Beautiful and comfortable. Nice facilities. Gave us a fantastic room with a balcony at no extra charge.
Size of room and sleep comfort. Staff was friendly. It's only a short drive to the Grand Canyon Nationalpark (South Rim).
I was checked in in a dirty room and staff at the front desk had to organise someone in the evening to replace the bedding and the towels from the previous person.
Entrance to the Grand Canyon Park was only 1 mile away. Staff were great, dinner at the restaurant was very good. Buffalo Brisket and live music.
Great room with well appointed bathroom (not builder's grade pieces); tub was deep providing a great soak after walking the canyon all day. And it was beautifully tiled and it had a built-in nightlight. Mirror was to die for; large and lit all the way around. Plus they provided a dual-sided makeup mirror that was also lit. Pillows were great and I didn't need to use my own (always travel with them). Mattress was super comfortable. Room was large and comfortable and looked inviting.
Food that the hotel's "steakhouse" was just so-so at very high prices for the quality. I've had better steaks at other chain steakhouses. Also, nearly everything on the menu had some form of peppers in it (even the Caesar's salad had a chipotle dressing (How then is that a Caesar's salad?) . Since I have an allergy to chilies and cayenne etc., it proved to be a challenge to find something I could eat or wanted to eat. I could barely tell there was alcohol in my Cosmopolitan. The breakfast buffet was $33 plus tip and you can get the same hard cooked scrambled eggs free at most other hotel chains.
No room service
Remodeling was very nice
Great facilities. Impeccable comfort in the bedroom, bathroom and other facilities. Next to the Grand. Close to places to eat. Ample parking. Service excellence.
I do not mind paying more for having breakfast.
The location and "feel" of the hotel made the visit very enjoyable.
Although unavoidable while doing remodeling, the activity on the floor was high.
Loved the Lodge Look Decor!! Being from the East Coast it was different.
All the construction, but understand growing pains. The Hot Tub had too much foam in it. Didn't seem as clean as it should be.
