The Greenwich Hotel  

The decor was beautiful. The staff were so friendly. The Bath was huge and water pressure was awesome in the shower. There were room snacks which were free. It was quiet so slept so well. It was in a great location for shopping in smaller boutique shops.

There was nothing I didnt like.

Would have appreciated an in room bath and room slightly on the small side for a seven day stay

Relaxed atmosphere. Pleasant and helpful staff. Modern amenities. Location. Spotting a guest celebrity. European feel. Complimentary items in room. Privacy.

Too dark inside. Folks with computers who took up whole sofas and nooks. No place to sit in lobby. Sofa in our room was not comfortable. Couldn't get up out of it either.

There was no jacuzzi women's steam room was not working the restaurant was so loud, we were sceaming across the tale and the waiter had an attitude..so we left

Outstanding service

Style, comfort and service.

We were immediately made to feel at home. The facilities allowed us to spread our selves around the hotel depenidng on our needs, spa and pool, open court yard, private living area for guests and comfortable rooms. THere were two special things that i loved about the facilities. One was access to the beautiful food from Locanda Verde and the spa and massage services. Superb.

The room was spacious and very comfortable with superb en suite facilities. The staff were courteous, friendly and informative (which is more than can be said for the public sector personnel i.e. subway and train staff). The restaurant and lounges were relaxed in style with superb food. The whole atmosphere made for a relaxed break and I would definitely return there for a nother break.

Nearly missed it walking by... no exterior signage.

Individual trendy stylish hotel

We chose the hotel for a week long honeymoon, and loved the understated, almost invisible exterior to the hotel, revealing a welcoming, stylish, Morrocan inspired decor / ambience - ideal if you want something more private / secluded. We also loved the downtown location in TriBeCa, with its strong impression of community, and funky / eclectic mix of shops, boutiques, galleries, restaurants and cafes. The therapy and swimming pool were fantastic; quiet, romantic with a feeling rather like a Balinese-spa, and the courtyard garden / dining area for guests was very tranquil and romantic. Ideal for honeymooners...

There was nothing particularly we didn't like about the hotel that they did not address satisfactorily during our stay. A member of staff allowed more assertive guests to intimidate him into prioritising with their needs when others were already being attended to, which he could have handled better but which was almost certainly due to lack of experience. Also, there was a couple of minor incidents relating specifically to the restaurant, Locande Verde, which was taken up by the hotel manager, but other than that, we found the staff to be extremely helpful, friendly and approachable.

The guest lounge was superb. As it's quite difficult to obtain a reservation at the hotel restaurant, locanda verde, on even the quiter nights, this space including the lovely courtyard, are exclusively available for hotel guests where the full menu is available. Needless to say, we invited a few friends and utilized this space on our last night in nyc.

The pool was quite cold and the wifi wasn't very reliable. Another slight letdown was that we were hoping to have a hotel room with a similar unique sophisticated decor to what was shown on their website. Our hotel room, while still nice, appeared more of a country "home" style and seemed, surprisingly, very generic.

From start to end, the stay at hotel and staff did not dissappoint. Lots of research went into finding the right hotel and location and this was right on both counts. I will be visiting again and would definetly recommend the hotel. Thank you all at Greenwich hotel for a great time in New york

In all my travels both for business and vacation, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Flawless Peerless.

The hotel was welcoming, luxurious & the attention to detail very good.

The lighting in the bar was very dark for eating.

A very refined and tasteful hotel with great food and freindly staaf.

It's a charming, peaceful and luxurious oasis in mad Manhattan. The room and bathroom were so thoughtfully appointed and the drawing room with a fire burning was a cosy place to relax with a cup of tea. The beautiful pool in its Japanese temple setting and my massage at the spa added to the relaxing ambiance.

Well, it's expensive but if the budget permits, worth every penny.

Everything was included, even the use of the minibar (apart from alcoholic beverages).

The prices are too high, even considering that the hotel is excellent as such.

Het is een mooi hotel, niet te druk en heeft een fijn rustgevend gevoel.

Wat mij soms tegen viel was het personeel, het waren maar een meisje en een jongen aan de front desk die niet behulpzaam waren. Maar wat wel weer het gevoel geeft van jammer.
