The prices are a inflated for what size and quality room you get. Our room was a standard double queen room.
The staff wants to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Food was not my favorite. More plain options needed.
We were in the old section, which is fine, except for the paper-thin walls!
Everything, except the old room sound problem.
Very easy to relax there and a short drive to the Biltmore.
Rip off fees: Parking fee, mandatory Resort Fee, mandatory Mandatory "tip" for spa service Scheduling issue in the spa
The hotel and spa are both wonderful!
Could hear the music VERY well in the evenings. The center courtyard seemed to be a gathering place for groups to meet. Also, lots of noise. Rooms were really nothing special.
The view from our window. The stonework was interesting.
Breakfast has hardly any fresh foods, mostly cooked and baked goods.
Great hotel! Wonderful spa! Great staff! Beautiful location!
Regular rooms need an update, especially the bathrooms. Feels like a Hampton Inn or something. I got a great price which was lower than what appeared on their website - definitely not worth $350+, at least to me. But maybe that's not an issue for others since not much time is spent in the room anyway! If the spa weren't so wonderful, I'd stay at the Inn on the Biltmore estate, which has much nicer rooms with nice updated bathrooms.
The history, location, and especially the fabulous spa! Also, most of the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Our resort view was of the next door neighbors rock wall and AC units. When I asked if there was a better room I was told no. The curtains fell off the track the first night and we couldn't get anyone to respond until the next morning. T he food was very expensive and nothing special. The biggest disappointment was a $546.00 dollar Spa charge that wasn't ours and when I voiced a concern about how it got there the staff member ignored me and never responded how it happened. Our 40th Anniversary wasn't memorable for sure.
The valet service was superb. They were always friendly and helpful
The attire of the hotel staff needs updated.
Location, location, location!
You have to pay to park your car there. There wasn't free WiFi and the alcohol was very expensive.
The property was amazing. My wife and I were in awe of the beauty. The Grove Park Inn was a place to remember for future romantic getaways.
Bed could use a bit more padding.
Great history in the hotel. Thanks for sharing. It was like a small museum.
Doorman/bellman - no coordination of luggage or vehicle; long waits. Don't really care that they're two different entities. Spa staff obnoxios and spa was one of the reasons we went there in the first place.
Beautiful views and landscaping. Golf pro shop and personnel pleasant and accommodating.
Hotel over charged us We were sent a booking price of 268 & hotel charged$91 more. We are disputing it. Imagine our shock when we saw the bill!!!
Mountains Decor of lobby Luxury View of mys
Beautiful facility full of history. Can't wait to go back. The view of the mountains was awesome and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my stay.
A little noisy at night, sounded like kids playing in the hallway late at night. The coffee maker had two coffee cups, one was dirty with lipstick on the outside.
Great location, the restraunts and shopping are great.
Loved it all
Views staff ambiance
Great view, great restaurants and great Spa within the hotel !!!
The fact that booking.com did not tell me that they were going to charge me an extra 200$ for different taxes Staff needs more training especially at the reception
Our dinner was subpar
The charm and character
The rooms were not soundproofed and we could hear the guest next door talking to his family on the phone as if he was in our room. We had a young baby napping and this was very bothersome.
We loved the view and facilities. The food was great, as well.
It was a wonderful place.
The spa facilities are impressive in their design, generosity and attention to detail.
None. We chose a cold weekend!
