Mountain view. Excellent service.
The location is excellent with a beautiful view of the mountains from our room which was quite comfortable. Everyone was very friendly.
Just the one restaurant was a disappointment.
Our room in the old building was quite nice with a view of Asheville. We spent one whole day in the spa which was very relaxing. Meals were good. Atmosphere was great. We will be going back again
The meals were good but kind of pricey.
The uniqueness of the property.
The amount of walking. The cost of meals. The cost of mixed drinks that were not very good.
The hotel and staff were very nice.
The price is too high for what you get.
The hotel is beautiful and the view from all points on property is stunning especially from the sunset terrace!! The staff was so friendly...outside of Disney best service I have received at a hotel and the spa is just amazing!! Stayed there for a whole day!
I would say the only negatives is that the room was pretty small and there are a lot of additional costs on top of the room stay! Better rooms elsewhere for less money but worth the stay at the grove park inn for the experience as a whole!!!
Design and construction of this historical inn; the view is spectacular; facilities, service and dining is superb; on-site golf and spa are worth experiencing.
Very expensive, so make your stay meaningful and special!
The views. Bartender at View 1913 was good.
The food at the terrace rest. was overcooked. The other rest. were acceptable.
The structure and location.
The room was costly and outdated.
The rooms were great, very comfortable and nicely decorated. Also had a very large walk-in closet.
Had NO view from our room.
Beautiful historic hotel with gorgeous views. Staff made us feel comfortable. Loved the old-fashioned elevator. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool, and the poolside service was fast and friendly.
We liked everything about it.
Very peaceful relaxing stay. Staff exceptionally friendly. The most comfortable bed ever!!
Torn bed ruffle was the first thing I saw when I entered the room
Great staff, amazing food and lots to see.
The spa was great.
Very professional staff, the accommodations were excellent. It was our 25th wedding anniversary and we could not had picked a more perfect place. Thx
Diversity in staff , more people I'd color.
I love the location of this hotel in the mountains and not too far from Charlotte. It's a great weekend getaway! I also love the history of this hotel and enjoy staying in the historic part. So interesting to see the people who have visited this hotel over the years!
Way too expensive...don't like all of the additional charges on your bill..don't like the daily price of the valet parking either. The quality of food at the hotel is not that great and very expensive but you have the city to visit that has awesome food!
Booking.com misled me on the price of the room I was lead to believe that the 2 night stay would be for $359.64 but then an email which I did not open raised the price to $548 which was a nasty surprise the day we checked out and tainted an otherwise perfect stay. Seems like a bate and switch scheme to me, why does booking .com practice this method of scam on the internet Respond to email@example.com if you care about your reputation if not I will simply fill a complaint with the FCC in 3 days from now
The spa was exceptional.
The food was average.
The breath taking view!
Spa was booked. Had to use another one off site. With checkin at 4 pm and out at 11 am pretty costly per hour of stay.
