Breakfast at hotel didn't need to go out
Arrived late. Male employee was rude should not be in customer contact. Rooms were old need new mattresses
The staff at Heritage was exceptional! Kind and caring, very understanding of our needs being that we traveled with two small kids. One of the staff members came by to check how our room was and make sure we're ok. Another staff member saw me searching the halls for an ice machine with a small kid in tow. He offered to run ahead of us to check that the machine is working so we're not toddling all the way there to be potentially disappointed. How many people would do that for you? The hotel is only 5-minute walk (even if you are walking with a small kid) from the harbor - where they have concerts, fairs, fireworks, shops, restaurants, and many other activities. The Main St shopping / dining area is literally across an intersection. The hotel rooms were very quiet even though there is a bit of traffic and the hospital is nearby. It was great to have access to the indoor pool -- because some days were too hot, too windy, too cold for the beach.
The wifi signal was very poor and we were rarely able to connect (maybe once every two days). This may be because the hotel was at capacity when we visited. The second thing we didn't like is that the carpets were very dirty. This might not be the fault of the hotel -- I think that guests are not careful and walk around without taking off their shoes.
The breakfast was excellent.
Room smelt damp Very noisy could hear everything
I've stayed here many times. I like it...it's close to everything...Walk to the beach . Walk up and down main street.
Shower head was lousy. Air conditioner was loud and kept going off.
The location was good
It wasn't clean, it needs updating and it was totally over priced. There was hair in the bathroom from prior guest which set the stay off to a very bad start. I would not recommend this hotel.
Really liked the location. It was very central. It's on Main Street and walking distance to the port and park. It is a good place to stay if you're wanting to see other areas in Cape Cod as it is fairly central. Breakfast was good. It was great having coffee served to you at your table. All the hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful.
The WIFI connection was extremely slow and The signal was continually lost there were times when we weren't able to connect, which was very frustrating! I wasn't able to download my emails so keeping on top of my work emails was impossible. Tried connecting on several different devices, the performance of the wifi was same on all 4 devices. It would have been nice to have fresh fruit, like apples, bananas, or oranges available at breakfast so you could eat it on the run. Need breakfast options for Vegans!
The pool area was great! The food was very good! very convient to downtown and harbor! very friendly staff!
lots of noise from upstairs people walking hard and kids jumping late at night!! Price seemed to have changed from the time I booked through booking.com to my departure!!!
Clean , basic but had nice pools and hot tub. Very good location near ferry to Nantucket and Marthas vineyard and also the town of Hyannis
The staff were unfriendly and bordering on rude. The new summer staff hadn't been trained on basic front desk issues before being let lose in the general public. Bad reflection on management more then them .
Wish it was on the water Sheets were stained Bathroom smelled like urine upon arrival TV remote didn't work Got a 1st fl rm overlooking the lovely parking lot and I know there were plenty of rooms avail Asked for a late check out but front desk did not relay that mssg to housekeeping so they came in and threw some of our stuff away. (Just small souvenirs beverages and candy). Nothing of huge value but it's the principle
Actually it was somewhat convenient to downtown otherwise..nothing else!!
We checked in with a very rude young lady at the counter assured us two cribs were going to be in our rooms. No, they never delivered and they told us "DONT call anymore and ASK!" I had booked through booking.com and the heritage hotel personnel put us in the crapiest building way in the back with our curtains opened faced a wall!! Then my daughter went and had breakfast only to be told "YOU did not pay for BREAKFAST!" which I had to send to her by text the picture of our invoice breakfast included was paid!! And it was horrible breakfast cuisine!! How can it be so bad?
Had a motel feel to it. Patios for most rooms overlooked parking lots.
We liked the location, facilities and swimming pool, we would definitely stay again.
We felt that the dining room staff were not very obliging when explaining about the food service .
The bed was very comfy
Almost everything else. No wifi or internet availability in the room. Staff when we checked in couldn't have been more unfriendly...yes and no was about all you got out of her! Place need major updating. Smells awful in the lobby. Overwhelming chlorine
It was right on Main st and you could walk to the water in one direction or you could walk up and down Main St in the other direction. You did not really need a car.
Our water was rusty several times in the bathroom. The bedding was old. The outside pool water was so cold you really could not go in the pool. The beds were very uncomfortable.
Walking distance to food, fishing, and shopping.
Not unbearable, but the hotel wasn't particularly stroller friendly.
