inside the room, everything was perfect, but the first impression, outside, when we arrived was terrible. hopefully it will be better when the reform ends.
The room was brand new and clean and comfortable!
We had no water
This motel is family owned which means they allow 5-7 boys ages 8-16 to stay in the rooms unsupervised and making noise inside and outside the room all hours of the night. If you want/need sleep don't stay here.
Due to the business going on the Austin event the price of the hotel was more then expect
Location from traveling in
The place is run down and needs repairs. We had a chair outside our room for sitting on, and the stuffing was hanging out of ripped cushions. They did not provide coffee cups for the in-room coffee maker. The overall upkeep of the room left a lot to be desired, and it smelled like mothballs. I would not stay at this property again and I do not recommend this property to anyone.
Location was convenient since the motel was near things we wanted to see.
Older place and not in the best location.
For the money the place was convenient and clean and quiet. For a working man not a bad place to stay
The staff was so rude. The staff started banging on our door at 9am in the morning asking us if we were checking out and if we wanted our room clean. After that they banged on our door 4 more times before 11 am. Also my husband went down and asked for more towels, the lady in the office was so rude and said we r out of towels.
Not really anything.
I called to get directions and no one could tell me how to get yhere..After 3 calls I finally found it. GPS won't get you there either...total mess!
Furniture torn, stained and tattered. Check-in clerk treated the 3 of us "over 50's" like we were criminals attempting a scam. Rude morning wake-up call asking us if we were checking out, or staying. ? Our reservation was for one night, pay in advance. We had to leave our key cards with them.
A bed to sleep in. Smoking rooms available. Coffee was OK, but no creamer provided. There was a fridge and microwave in the room, which we didn't have need of.
Chairs outside rooms were torn and just looked trashy
Even though you're sleeping on the cheap, the furnishing could be updated. They have done their time.
The location is very convenient to loop 360 and Mopac. The staff is friendly. The pool is well maintained.
old, needs some repairs & updates. Bathroom counter had a large crack running through it. Tub floor creaked so much you thought it was going to give. Wonder what it sounded like on the floor beneath? Musty, perfume type smell in room. Cleaning crew could have done better, hair in sink (not mine) used coffee filter left in coffee maker. Did not replace coffee or cups on 2nd day. Stayed 3 nights, would not stay again. Front desk person was helpful though.
Nothing I did not like. However, people who reserve this motel should be aware that this motel is very basic and there is nothing within walking distance. However, stores and restaurants are not too far by car, within a mile.
I used to live Austin and I returned to see some friends, so I chose to stay at this motel as it was in my old neighborhood, so the location of this hotel was very important to me. This hotel is a basic no frills hotel. Nothing fancy and okay for the price. The staff are nice as it is family owned and they tried to make me feel comfortable. I also like that the area is secluded as there is not much traffic at all in this area, which is becoming more and more of a rare thing to find in Austin.
Older hotel with crack in bathroom counter top. Bathtub was very creaky! There was plenty of hot water, but I founf it hard to regulate in the shower.
Office staff and ice machine Very clean, comfortable bed
Some of the other people staying there gave me a bit of an uneasy feeling, but they weren't loud or anything. Also, the A/C didn't work as well, and this is Texas in Summer, though there was a ceiling fan which helped offset that.
It is in a nice part of town, and I liked that it is family owned. The staff were courteous, professional, and helpful. The room itself was clean and in good shape. I would say it is a good value.
Bugs in the room. Reported to desk person. Received no answer. Remote control for TV was damaged and hard to operate. No TV guide in room.
Nothing, Bugs in the room
need to fix the showers
Quite run down. Counter top next to sink had a big crack in it. Room smelled strongly of carpet cleaner or something like that. I returned late at night to sleep there and left as soon as I got up.
It was the only room available, at least online, that weekend due to a bike race. So, I paid $150 for a room that would probably normally cost $45.
