The concierge was knowledgeable and helpful. Staff was pleasant. Lobby was attractive. We had a larger room last time we stayed at the hotel, which was nicer in appearance. |

The Location is very good. Near Grand Central Station (train, bus, metro) and only 5 minutes by foot from 5th Avenue and ca. 10 minutes from Times square. Personel in general was very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast is worthless. Very little choice, no place to sit down (it's in the small crowded lobby), food is not refilled in time. The room was OK, even though the bathroom could use an update to 2009 standards. Also there are only two elevators to cover 17 floors, which means a lot of waiting. |

The place in town very near the most popular spots. The staff was frendly and very helpfull they did not clean the room in one of the nights although we were out of the room. To have breakfast is better to go early (before 8:15) if you don't want to have the leftovers. |

This hotel is really close to everything in NY. The rooms are confortable and clean. The breakfast time is more like a battlefield, so you have be awake early in the morning. |

I loved the room I was given. I had a suite that was more than spacious and very comfortable I liked everything about the hotel; I have no negatives whatsoever. |

Location is very good and the area looks safe. The rooms are spacious and quiet and the bed is big. very clean and has everything needed to a very comfortable stay. Breakfast although not great is included! Breakfast is served in a regular room where you serve yourself and then take the food with you to your room. Rooms could use a makeover, but they are fine either way! |

The location was great and I felt very safe in this area of town. The complimentary breakfast was very nice in the mornings and had a good variety. The staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms kept clean. The mattress was quite hard. The size of the hotel was small and the decor very outdated. |

Location, right in midtown... Poor lobby and breakfast, but again for the price of the room in midtown Manhattan you can not ask for much more |

It was a convenient location for me. Too bad that the so called continental breakfast did not allow for the bagels to be warmed. It is hard to eat cold bagels for breakfast on a winter morning The coldness of the breakfast |

The staff were very friendly, and the free breakfast was great altho you had to be there early to get any!! Not really, altho the room and bathroom could do with a lick of paint just to spruce it up as bit. |

The service at the hotel was friendly, and the rooms, while a bit worn already, were very tidy and also meticulously cleaned every day. We had taken a slight risk and booked the "run of the house"-option (best available room given upon arrival), and the room we were given was spacious and had a queen size bed. There wasn't really anything we didn't like - those who demand five star facilities and service to be satisfied should book into a five star hotel. Perhaps an easy improvement to be made would be to have a power adaptor at the reception which the guests could borrow - we forgot ours at home and would not have wanted to buy another one. |

The reception staff were friendly. Convenient location "Continental breakfast" was a really poor description. A real disappointment. Hotel generally needs a makeover. Don't rely on interenet provide - outside contractor and they let the hotel down |

Location, size of rooms, friendly staff, breakfast, rooms with two double beds. It needs some renovation, at least fresh paint and change of carpet |

Locarion The internet didn't work, the room was shabby, and the hotel was overwhelmed with group tours. |

excellent situation, big room, new bathroom - ligth and clean, lots of space to put things to fetch breakfast at the small lobby : never saw any juice, one day no jams or other bread left, had to go down a 2nd time for new coffee, hot water and cups ..; we only tried this twice, after that had our breakfast outside ; better not to advertise that breakfast is included; might give vouchers instead |

Friendly staff, central location, clean rooms. The hotel needs complete renovation to justify the expensive prices charged. A limited serve-yourself breakfast is available in the very small lobby area, which has to be eaten in your bedroom. There are no tea/coffee-making facilities, and no bottled water to drink. |
