Partying all night in the rooms and on the street. Dirty carpets so bad that we kept our shoes on. Pubic hair on floor in bathroom. If we had not been so tired we would have walked out.
staff comfort of bed location
If you want to be close to Financial District, then not bad place to stay at. Nice staff and no issues with anything (booking, payment, parking, check in/out..).
Cleanliness and comfort are not the strongest aspect of that place (stained bed sheets, not really vacuumed carpet..). Don't raise your hopes up for this price. Luckily staying for two nights only and spending entire days outside, but wouldn't make it the third night, have I had stayed this long.
Service was terrible.
My wife and I have stayed at this hotel previously as we regularly get away to Los Angeles for the weekend. The location is good and the hotel has some charm.
This particular trip the room we got was not good. It as smaller than previous rooms and the carpet was stained and the room was in need of paint. The TV was not in a place where you could see it from the bed. Everything was dingy and looked really old. They do have nicer rooms (same price) and that's what we got on previous trips but this time it was not good. I guess it just depends on the luck of the draw.
proximity to main center and downtown.
major renovations being done , no food service open after breakfast. still have old rooms with extremely small bathrooms. no space to relax, or extra chairs to sit on to relax as not big enough room .
Very good location to the Metro Station, and bus stop just in front of the Hote, wich its very good for easy trasnportation, so if you are looking forward to work in Down Town LA, this is the right place, just that too far away from the beach or for example Santa Monica
The breakfast it`s too poor
the worst hotels I have ever seen
Location close to train line and downtown. area may not be ideal for some though. Breakfast was good though plain. Staff were wonderful. Good value for a cheap central hotel.
Shower was tiny. Had to climb over the toilet to shut the bathroom door. Would be much easier if the door opened outward.
good location, near the downtown, good price
Very small bathrooms Breakfast expensive for the quality delivered
position breakfast is ok
room was small and really dirty. for breakfast only one waiter was working, all the table were full of dishes and food from the previous customer. The guy at the bell desk gived me a price for a kind of cab that was totally wrong, he said 55$ and surprise, when i arrived at destination the driver ask me 150$!! i had a long discussion with him. wi fi almost never works
Parking attached to hotel Very good breakfast
A little dated
The location worked for me.
I choose the hotel to be close to the starting line for a half marathon. There were people talking all night long in the hallway. When I mentioned it the staff said did you call - how can you do that of they were talking at 11, 12, 2 am and you're trying to sleep. The shower is tiny, the hotel room old & dirty. If you're looking for a place to rest before a race this is not the place.
Quiet Fair price Decent location Good breakfast
Rude front desk woman Her face would have cracked if she ever smiled. Very helpful concierge
Nothing & bad service
The stuffs & the services
Staff is very helpful
Very old building and Thé place of hotel is dangerous especially at nights.there ara a lot of homeless people around the hotel;most of them are drunk
The staff were friendly and helpful.
No good sound insulation I could not sleep very well one night as I could hear the next door room people talking, They werenot shouting, just talking constantly. I do not know if it has double glazing , it does not seem so as I could hear the lorrys early in the morning The internet is slow and unreliable from the rooms a bit better from the lobby
Very dangerous "Hip Bath"
Staffs were super unkind. Room was so dirty. The carpet in the room looks not cleaned ever.
Got a ride to the staples center provided by the hotel. Which they charged 15 dollars to take us about 1.5 miles.
Confused my reservation with my cousins. It took us 45 minutes to check in. Causing them to run my credit card twice. Our ac was not functioning properly. Very uncomfortable. To top it off paid 14$ For parking.
Really run-down room--dingy carpet with holes and snags, chipped, mismatched furniture that looked like it had been purchased at a yard sale, the main light was a floor lamp that didn't even work. Super noisy construction woke me up at 8am. Drilling sounded like a foghorn, and constant banging. Just a really depressing place to be.
The beds were very comfortable and the lobby staff very polite. Breakfast was on par with most business hotels.
The carpet and bathroom floors were filthy. I asked the front desk to have the room vacuumed and still there was stuff on the carpet. Surfaces were visibly covered with a layer of powdered plaster as if recent repairs were done with no cleanup. The hot water faucet in the bathroom sink was screwed shut.
The desk room is beatifull
In one room, 1102 the bathroom is very small
Wifi is not bad...
Is expensive if you compare it with other hotels or motels with better situation, better service and more professionals. The rooms are really old and and is plenty of white dust falling from the roof...when you wake up your clothes are full of this white powder. The parking is paid,(14$ each night) when a lot of hotels/motels have free parking... Ah, and they have a "grab and go" breakfast which contains a yogurt, and they give us a fork to eat the yogurt because they runed out of spoons... We will never comeback
