Location was close to good areas to visit. The staff was nice and helpful and helped us switch rooms to a less disgusting room, but not sure why we were put in the really bad first room, no one should stay there.
Old, dirty bathrooms and the rooms were not clean, smelly and bed was very uncomfortable! Couldn't even shower in the bathroom as there was mold and hair, just horrible!
Dredge in room free whi fi
Had to try 3 rooms before I got one that was Amy good all very small bathroom tiny. Rooms need a good detail Need to put two rooms together to make it like a normal hotel room
Close to the center.
The streets around hotel seems to be not quite safe. The room looks old but relatively clean. Shower temperature can't be controlled.
I loved the flexibility that the front desk staff showed when checking me in. Z
housekeeping; room cleanliness
in-house breakfast selection; meat selection was ONLY pork
its was relatively close to everywhere we wanted to go.
it was old, dirty, looked like its been long over due for a demolition. tv was ancient, furniture looked like it would fall apart if you kicked it. it was horrible.
Hotel located close to event we were attending. Parking was easy. Check in/out was quick.
Hotel was going through renovation it seemed. It was a bit shabby. The neighborhood is a bit iffy. The bar as shown on Bookings web site has not been open in years.
no hot water
Headboard of bed not attached to wall (laid on an angle) in what seems like every room, if you or anyone has sex on your floor, everyone can hear the loud banging of the headboard. Overcharged for the stay, they never refunded the security deposit for second night of stay. (will dispute with bank) Parking garage key did not work. Room key did not work. Staff is very rude when asked for help with their broken room keys/parking key.
The A/C didn't work it was awful
Location close to downtown LA. Price was right. Parking fee in garage was reasonable.
Not the best neighborhood around the hotel; lots of homeless nearby. Neighborhood not too conducive to walking around. Continuing construction noise disruptive.
Walking from hotel to Staples center is not very romantic.... during the evening.
It has a Beautiful lobby; the cost of parking was fair and location of lot is good; and the chance to stay at a historical location is nice.
Once you leave the lobby the feel of the hotel went from historical to dated (old/ out dated). In the room the curtains wouldn't close completely and the A/C only blew out warm or hot air. The bathroom reminded me of a high school locker room.
Good location and value
Besides WiFi signal is a little weak, I am satisfied with everything else. It was a great experience.
Location to Staples Center was not bad. It was central to all of the areas I needed to be in.
Staff seemed poorly trained. I had several issues with my bill and there was a lot of construction going on.
It was cheap I guess..
The place was the worst hotel I've stayed in. Terrible location and the rooms were horrible. There's no chance I would return.
adjustable price, very comfortable place to use subway and bus, the bell boy Melvin was so nice and kind
They said they have the overall heating service in the hotel but it was freezing inside. I felt like the elevator was unsafe it was twisted.
Cheap and clean, in downtown.
Close to Metro & other transit
The staff are nice
