to many turns to get to the hotel.
Quick check-in, clean room, great amenities.
the granite, the age, the condition the security of the key-card only up elevators, the location is very convenient to great restaurants yet far enough from the interstate to avoid all road noise. Overall: good value
the ac was loud and breezy, and my wife kept changing the setting because she was hot flashing; one minute you could hang meat in there and the next I was tossing covers; menopause & fibromyalgia at the same is a sleepless combo even though we slept in separate beds.
The fun for kids, my kids had a blast and so did I there is a little bit if everything
That I could not upgrade my room when booking messed up my room I wanted to upgrade and they couldn't
The staff were exceptionally helpful and the room and hotel Were wonderful
Staff was unbelievably friendly. They went above and beyond to accommodate my family.
Really impressed with the property. It didn't feel like a Holiday Inn at all.
Very very very slow Wi-Fi. They need to update this.
Its close to the interstate I40, Staff were all very friendly.
Breakfast was limited,
Modern comfort, style, clean, and the bar. Movies next door. Restaurants all around. Indoor pool, jacuzzi, and sauna!!!!
Nothing not to like.
Modern design and reasonable price.
First visit pool out. Return visit it was repaired.
I liked the area, the way it's kept up, the staff, in reception, dining room, & bar. The breakfast buffet is nice, for the most part, except, for the weekend, when it was hit by scads of kids, who came in like the seven year locusts. The staff, really worked hard to try to keep up, but it wasn't pretty.
As much as I like the hotel, the rooms are a little small, especially for a five day stay. What they mainly lack, is comfortable seating, the desk chair, & a small straight back chair, just don't cut it.
Mr.A.Smallwood and his staff from houskeeping to the front desk were very professional and courteous ALWAYS. Mr Smallwood took the time to sit with us at breakfast Friday morning(3/28/14) and have a very pleasant converstion with my husband and I. We really enjoyed our stay.
Other than the indoor pool not being available the first day we checked in and this was corrected by Friday evening 3/28/14 there was no other issues.
Great breakfast easy location off interstate. Facilities upscale and clean staff very helpful and nice.
One small complaint. .. we got the room for the pool and slide and they only open the slide on the weekends. However the pool was neat anyways.
The staff was very polite and helpful even when busy with several customers.
I was disappointed that the picture of the tub is not what we got when we got to our room.
Pool was under construction
the lobby was very crowded and loud
Great service in the mexican restraunt and breakfast. The kids loved the swimming pool.
Booking.com misrepresented the room that we thought we booked. We were wanting to book the junior suite and on booking.com they called it an executive suite which was just a king bed and we needed more room for a family of four than that. The hotel was booked and we had to just deal with the one king bed. The pictures on booking.com showed that the executive king was a suite. Complete misrepresentation.
the rooms were excellent and most of the staff was amazing... especially considering what they had to work with. Quiet -- peaceful sleeping rooms - and very comfortable -- and stylish
The lobby/bar/dining room set up was about the WORST I have ever seen. the poor front desk personel must have major headaches when they leave at the end of the day. They were amazing -- helpful -- and very prompt/courtesy upon our arrival. But we all had to yell over the noise from the bar which for some reason the hotel architect thought it would be a novel idea to make the bar an open area right next to the lobby and dining room... with no dividers or space to separate. You can imagine the NOISE level at 8pm on a Friday night. it was horrible. And the weather was such that we didn't want to go back out for dinner so we ate in the Hotel Restaurant! BIG MISTAKE. We took a table about as far back as you could get with out being in the kitchen and we still couldn't hold a dinner conversation because of the noise from the bar. What the heck were you thinking. And then on top of that - you need to give the rest. staff a chef so they have a chance on making a decent living from tips. We wanted to order steaks - but there was not one steak left (poor ordering) TEXAS with N O steak! What? and what we did order (3 meals) all had to be sent back; the hamburger was dried up cold and beyond help - the second one wasnt any better. Our pour waitress did everything she could be go back and make the meals herself. She was excellent and the only bright spot in that area! GET A NEW CHEF or someone to train this young one!
Fantastic hotel looks brand-new constable bad super staff everything was great
The area smelled bad from cattle or barnyard or something it was really bad however inside hotel was fine but outside was bad
Beautiful new hotel right off the freeway. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
We ate at the restaurant and found it to be very good.
Very friendly staff!!!
The window in room rattled quite a bit, but it was a windy day.
