Good location , Old School Charm and very warm welcome at recepition. Spa shop and facilities looked great and everyone we came into contact with made us feel very welcome. I did not realise until we checked out the normal room rate how good a deal we got through this site. Room excellent with two double beds.

Did not like is to strong a word . But we would have loved to have had Kettle and coffee plunger in room. However the breakfast menu and in room service was excellent and they took care of everything we needed. Dry cleaning service expensive , so dropped anything we needed into local laundry.

The Huntington Hotel experience was exceptional from the time we walked in the door, will return!

Great facilities - including spa and five star restaurant. Room had nice views and great for business travel. Professional staff - highly recommend.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel because it was quiet and boasts large rooms in a city that is known for smaller hotel rooms. It also has a lovely indoor pool and spa and sauna facilities. The housekeeping staff is the gem of the entire staff and were efficient and constantly helpful.

I felt that when I checked in I was not properly introduced to the hotel. She never explained where our room or where the pool and spa was located. I also asked for a possible upgrade and showed her a room that interested me on the website and was told that every room is different and she didn't know which room that was and that it would be substantially more to upgrade since I already got a deal. It was clear she didn't want to bother much since I didn't pay the standard rate. I would never pay the standard rate that they publish on their website. I have stayed in far better hotels for less than what this hotel charges outside of booking.com. I will stay again because I liked the old world charm and the location but I use booking.com.

Lovely room with excellent view across the bay. The spa was very relaxing. Location was handy for central SF. Good area served by several fine restaurants.

Dining room - one waiter at breakfast was incredibly rude and unhelpful - have written complaint to manager. We never went back to the restaurant.

Really enjoyed the spa where the service was excellent. The bedrooms (we had 3) were all huge. Good views particularly on the park side from our 8th floor location. Nice courtesy car.

This is a unique old hotel with character and somewhat faded grandeur. However, I felt it was in desperate need of a makeover. The rooms are very large and our deluxe on the park side was nicely presented although poorly insulated from voices and TV noise coming from the next room. Other family members were in standard rooms - also large but a little shabby - their shower rooms were tiny compared to the bedroom space. One evening both lifts broke down (they are very old!). Breakfast in the restaurant was pricey and not up to the standard I would expect from a hotel in this category.
