Great Friendly Staff Quiet location with great views
Our bathroom was a little bit on the small side, but our friends next door had a large bathroom.
Room decoration and lobby. Staff are very nice and friendly
Large rooms, curtesy car. Friendly floor staff.
Snooty, inattentive staff in the overrated and overpriced restaurant.
Friendly attentive staff, great location cable car stipps outside at top of hill and leads to famous mymi diner!, luxury spacious room large ebough for family. Great for exploring city. Lovely spa, relaxing small pool and a useful gym everything you need provided.
Breakfast a little pricey but reliable quality ( check out mymi for a great diner?) others within a few blocks downhill.
I liked the staff of Scarlet Huntington. The receptionists are great, and the room is always clean. The hotel also offers a complimentary service, to drive us around the city, which was very useful. The driver, Ursula, is extremely nice.
I liked this hotel a lot. Maybe the price is a bit expensive, but except for that, nothing to complain about.
The location, staff and facilities.
Everything, from Ulysses the doorman to Lori in the Big 4 bar, the staff is truly accomodating. The room decor is off beat yet striking and comfortable. The small scale makes the hotel intimate, the service makes it luxurious.
The windows, although probably new, could offfer better sound quality.
The majority of the staff were absolutely amazing
After a very long day we got back to our room and were hungry we ordered food delivered as there was no where close, we ate and went to bed 10 minutes later there's a knock at our door saying its security, and to open the door and talk to them, well it's 3am I'm not opening the door, had to call front desk as they did not inform us of security coming to our door, they said there was a disturbance at this room, security made us feel as though we had really done something wrong. We did not! I was so upset at this that I never slept the rest of the night. And I complaned the next morning, they said they would look into it no one ever got back to me, I had to complain again that evening still no response. The worst I've ever been treated at a hotel
Lovely hotel with a great piano bar, huge room, and a fabulous spa. It's the kind of place you wish you had more waking hours to enjoy.
Paying for WiFi. In this day and age, internet access access is a basic necessity, like water for a shower. Why do hotels treat it like an added bonus we should pay for? There was a huge TV in the room that we never turned on, and for us, was such as waste.
The doorman in the evenings was so excellent. Wish I knew his his name - perhaps Jason? He greeted us by name each day and made my 8 year old daughter feel special. Excellent service.
comfortable beds and wonderful linens
"retro" decor...LOVED the old, stately decor in the previous Huntington!
Location was great, but you need to be able to walk up the steep hills of the city. We were upgraded to a fantastic suite at no extra cost and it was wonderful. Beds were super comfortable and the room was quiet.
There was noting that I didn't like.
Location was fantastic in heart of everything.
No internet in the rooms, needed to go to lobby to get free internet. Parking was very expensive at $54 a day.
Nice spacious rooms with good size sitting area. Very clean, modern furnishing and bathroom. Good location right on top of Nob hill.
Parking $52/day, extra bed $30/night, Wifi $15/day... Come on, these things are free at places costing a quarter of the Scarlet.
Spa was very nice. Room was upgraded to a very nice suite. Bed was very nice. Easy to get around Hotel. Good restaurant.
Air - Con not working . Too hot to sleep and too much road noise for open window. Didn't sleep. When told front desk they didn't seem to care.
Breakfast not included and expensive Parking not included
A top quality hotel that offers everything you need and more. The staff are the friendliest I have met on a 6 week journey of the USA and that is a real compliment as the competition was high. The hotel is a REAL 5 star experience in every aspect of its operation. Keep up the good work!!
The cold wind in San Francisco in July, it was the only thing the hotel couldn't fix :)
I was put in a lovely suite. I enjoyed it very much. Also dinner at "the four' was very nice and food good
Everything was great
Very expensive parking
The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. We loved the location it was quiet.
The room was great and huge!!! Concierge very helpful and friendly.
The fact you had to pay for wifi! The room was a little dusty.
The location is excellent. The large suite we stayed in was newly remodeled and ultra posh. The views were first rate.
Had to pay extra for wireless service. Valet parking price a little steep at $46/day plus tax.
All new towels and linens were good quality. The hotel has just been remodeled. Staff is very nice.
Big gap in bottom of door with adjoining room. After I stuffed a towel under the door it was much better.
Great location, old fashioned luxury
