Spa is amazing as usual, staff very friendly, valets efficient and helpful. Recent remodel very "boutique trendy" and attractive.
It seems the new corporation has sacrificed elegant service for a spiffy facelift. Room service menu and serving hours are limited, staff is unaware of the 25-yr relationship with customer. I miss the old elegance of propert and service.
The hotel is beautifully decorated and cared for. The location couldn't be better - on top of Nob Hill with panoramic views. The staff were kind and helpful. I have travelled all over the world and I would rate the Scarlet Huntington among the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Outstanding!
Spacious room. Nice linens. Bottles of water. Mini fridge. Attentive staff including in the spa.
They have coffee K cups in the room, but no tea. When I asked, this wasn't an option. We missed our reservation at the Big 4 restaurant because of a flight delay. We hoped to get something to eat via the bar, but they closed promptly at 10:30 on a Friday night. The place was packed, so no where to sit anyway. They could easily open up more tables in the closed section and serve until 11:30PM with all the people that were there.
Perfect location, beautifully appointed, elegant, and a treasure in San Francisco. The restaurant and bar is a true classic.
That we had to leave.
The comfort, quality and the price. Probably the nicest hotel I have stayed at in SFO....and that includes the 'W'
Not much to be fair. The 'relaxation pool' you can't swim in. Room service stops at 22:00. The walk up from Union square might be too much for some.
Everything. Is that's simple
View from the room (10th floor) was amazing. Location allowed easy access in all directions. Cable car in front of the hotel is very convenient, especially getting back to the hotel uphill. Hotel is very quiet and comfortable, cleaningness is worth to mention.
Breakfast room appeared a little dark. Offered valet parking (45$) is too high. Alternative across the street for 33$.
Great spot, easy Walk to everything
The inappropriate assault and the ogling of my breasts.
Great view of Huntington Park and beyond. Eccentric styling of rooms. Very comfortable bed. Huntington restaurant - historical.
Hot water was turned off when I needed to take a shower. Front desk informed of 20 - 30 min delay when called.
On my arrival I was welcomed by the very friendly staff. I even got an upgrade to the 11th floor with a nice view on the park and the bay (I could even see Alcatraz). The room was nice, bigger than expected. Staff was very friendly and helpful
The breakfast was in my opinion slightly overprized.
The bedroom was superb
Paying for wifi
The room was very spacious and had a nice sitting area. The hotel has a great look! We were pleasantly surprised. We had a Great view of the park across the street.
Paying for Wifi seems a little silly.
The big room, very nicely appointed, and the staff is excellent
We were greeted very friendly and upon request we received an upgrade to a premium room which was big and included a nice seating area and had a view of the cathedral and the city. The concierge was extremely helpful by getting us into a great restaurant on a Friday night. We couldn't have been happier.Love the place! The staff at the spa was very friendly as well. Views from the pool are great!
The water of the pool was murky and chemicals were put in during the morning while people are using the facilities without even checking the chlorine balance of the water. The water of the whirlpool was foaming due to chemicals. I would not want to go in there.
Exzellent dinner, Service well informed about the Huntingtons history. Good barmucic -life
Excellent room, spa amenities free for guests, friendly staff and professional service.
The staff was attentive and very nice.
WiFi: I hate, HATE, when WiFi is free in the lobby, but not in the rooms?! What sense does that make?!
Beautiful...oh so beautiful!
Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations - we loved it and will be returning on our next trip to SF!
We were greeted by Cornilelus when we arrived, he made us feel like we were VIPS. Very helpful and kind, you know he loved his job. Then Jarvis helped us with our baggage, very nice.helped us get a very late dinner delivered to our room. Everyone did an outstanding job making us special.
Absolutely nothing! Everything was lovely.
Everything almost... The rooms were fantastic . Staff very friendly and helpful. Wonderful hotel in an amazing location. We were upgraded too do even better. Food and drink at the big four restaurant was very good too. We will be back
I hate to pay for wifi and here you have to... Also overnight arming is expensive, but this is Nob Hill, so expected.
Great room, luxury fittings. Great location for short break. Loved the atmosphere of the hotel and had a great meal in The Big 4.
Mainly other posh hotels nearby so probably need to take a cable car or taxi if you fancy a less formal dinner, although nearby Nob Hill Cafe was great.
Calm, old-school hotel
WiFi either expensive or complimentary in the lobby, but not complimentary in the business center.
