We really appreciated the location and clean rooms

We did not like the staff trying to talk us out of requesting a room away from the elevator Nor did we like the spikes stiking out of the mattress. This actually broke the skin and is a safety issue. We alerted the staff.

Not much. I had always wanted to stay at this hotel but would never stay there again.

No one ever at the front desk and when they answered the phone, often didn't speak English. Their pool policy is RIDICULOUS. They say dont swim in the pool to allow others to relax however easy to know that they have liability issues re people slipping on the fllor. FIX THE POOL! Was so XX star.

The location is very upmarket. The room is large and comfortable. View was lovely.

The dining room was very dark. Tea/Coffee facilities in the room would be nice. More information on the Spa facilities,how to access and use. We ended up not using the facility, too hard.

Lovely experience! Terrific staff! All about customer service, we were all very impressed and will choose the Huntington again.

The outside of the building is pristine. Very charming. Rooms had a beautiful view. Food was good. Room service was prompt.

The spa should offer an attractive package for hotel guests other than the public pricing for spa use. Parking was very high in price which makes it awkward on top of the hotel rate. some of the spa management were a little indifferent to us as when we checked in and showed or room number they would come and ask if we belonged there due to the fact that they stated they have been having trouble lately with strangers from the sidewalk walking in and using the facilities. As a hotel guest I find this information a little disconcerting for my own protection.

The spa and swimming pool was lovely, very quiet and with a great view!

The location was great, centrally located to many things. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was great....atmosphere, piano player. Bar tender was great!

Conceirge set up wine tour with Great Pacific. They never picked us up, so at last minute Concierge put us on a different tour. Had to take taxi to pier, ended up on a big bus (Grey Line), who started out reprimanding us for being late. Really? And we only visted 3 wineries. Great Pacific was supposed to pick us up at 8:30, be a short bus, visit 6 wineries. We waited 1 hour before alternative plan was made. Very dissapointed. Not the day we had expected or hoped for.

Incredibly gracious staff. Very quiet - no city noise.

Liked that the staff really made us feel at home. They were kind and very warm. Loved the car we could use too with the chauffeur that knew a lot about SF.

there was no complementary Wi-Fi in the hotelroom, only in the lobby.

this hotel is overpriced and definetely not a 4 star hotel. the rugs are very dirty and aged.

lack of complimentary drinks in the room such as coffee maker. Not even a bottle of water when we went in.

Room, spa, bar/piano Albert was particularly welcoming and helpful

Maids should be reminded not to throw out clear zip lock bags as they are required for liquids/plane travel

The location of the hotel is really good for exploring San Francisco. The room was large and the staff very friendly and helpful. The bed was good and seemed like the only updated part of the room.

The cleaning was not impressive. A bread roll was left on the floor in our room when we arrived. The furniture, room interior, and the bathroom are very worn and could use updating. Charging for wifi seems greedy compare to the hotel pricing and general level of service.

Very nice hotel and very comfortable room. Free wireless. Excellent view on the city from our room. Strategically located to reach different city attractions. Cable car and bus stops are close.

A bit expensive (although not overpriced...)

Very good location, walking distance to union square and chinatown, outsanding service, and the room was remarkable.

The room was amazing. I requested a high floor if possible, but knew it might be hard considering it was a weekend - they ended up putting us on the top floor with an amazing city view. Great hotel.
