Tyvärr var vårt första rum mycket gammalt och inte renoverat på säkert 30 år.Detta speglar inte hotellets eller booking´s hemsida och beskrivning av hotellet. Vi fick byta rum till ett nyrenoverat som var mycket fint men fick i gengäld en dryg och negativ attityd från personalen. |

Personal.Stilen och läget Mycket lyhört i korridoren och dörren till rummet kändes väldigt billig. Det lyste in under den och från sidorna |

Generös service, bra läge, personligt, vackert, vänligt och internationellt. Synd med restriktionerna för vår simkunniga 10-åring i samband med föräldrarnas bad, i poolen. Hände inte på något annat motsvarande hotell under våra veckor i Kalifornien. För övrigt ett mycket elegant SPA! |

Ett av de finaste hotell som jag vistats på. Spaavdelningen gjorde nog susen: man kunde bada I inomhuspool och sola på terassen, mitt I en storstad! (Man måste lägga till att hotellet ligger I ett av de bästa områdena I sf. Ganska nära till shoppingsgatorna runt Union Square. |

Friendely recepetion and quick luggage delivery to the room. Comfortable and spacious rooms with a nice view over the city. Fast room service from a well balanced menu. Price image lean towards the higher, but overall everything is well worh the money. |

The hotel had a great location, great view of the cathedral and was a very comfortable apt - we were upgraded as had no smaller ones left. Nice pool and felt a very upmarket hotel. Piano music in bar was lovely too. Was weird having a kitchen with no kettle, toaster, cuttlery etc - what's the point? |

The hotel is close enough to central attractions to walk, though I suspect we were the only ones who actually went anywhere from the hotel on foot... Rooms are much larger than most hotels in SF, which is a welcome change. We enjoy exploring on foot, and we made a lot of trips in and out of the hotel in casual clothes appropriate to the warm temperatures, something apparently frowned on by the front desk staff in particular, who was less than welcoming on several occasions, before remembering that we were "guests" at the hotel. Even then, there was an air of "tolerance", and when we mentioned our experience at checkout, the person at the desk just remained silent until we left, offering no apology and seeking no further information from us. We were very curious what kind of training the staff receives for handling younger couples who don't apparently fall into their target demographic. The spa was nice and kept very clean by staff but was highly overrated |

Kind and professional staff and their services. Clean and elegant room with view. This hotel made me comfortable to stay. Actually I didn't have anything I disliked while staying at this hotel. I really want to recommend all of my friends to stay here! |

I would highly recommend this hotel. It was lovely and the rooms were well furnished and large. The rooms were provided with nice toiletries and had a turn down service in the evening. The spa was a great addition it had a fantastic balcony with wonderful views and complimentary herbal tea facility. Well located next door to a tram line. It has an intimate bar with good drinks and food. I got a great deal on the hotel by booking early through late rooms $125 a night. WiFi was charged I would expect a hotel of this calibre to provide it for free. I find the very prominent tipping culture uncomfortable, this is present in the hotel as it is throughout much of America. |

Excellent location on the top of the hill, beautiful view towards the city and sea. Just a few blocks from a cable car stop, 5 min walk to Union Square. Excellent service! Highly recommended. |

The helpfulness of the staff, size of the room, complete quiet of the room (no corridor noises or other room noise could be heard at all!). That I could probably never afford it if I hadn't received such a great discount via booking.com! |

Old fashioned luxury and charm. We enjoyed a deluxe corner room with great views over the city. The room was luxurious and spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money given the good price we got on the internet. The spa is lovely too. We didn't have treatments but used the steam, room, gym and the view at no extra cost. |

The hotel has a lovely elegant boutique feel to it. The rooms were cleaned regularly and well, the staff were polite and efficient but unobtrusive. The location was excellent. We enjoyed the breakfasts in the hotel as the menu was great and and the service was good. The breakfast prices were a little pricey, but then San Fran is an expensive city! |

The location of the hotel was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go to sightsee and get acquanted with the heart of San Francisco. The hotel rooms were amazing (much bigger and spacious that I had anticipated). The maid service for the room was the best I have encountered (and I have stayed at lots of 5 star rated Hotels all over the world). Our room was clean, modern and had an incredible view of the city. Parking...Too expensive but I guess this is expected for San Francisco. |
