Tyvärr var vårt första rum mycket gammalt och inte renoverat på säkert 30 år.Detta speglar inte hotellets eller booking´s hemsida och beskrivning av hotellet. Vi fick byta rum till ett nyrenoverat som var mycket fint men fick i gengäld en dryg och negativ attityd från personalen. |

Generös service, bra läge, personligt, vackert, vänligt och internationellt. Synd med restriktionerna för vår simkunniga 10-åring i samband med föräldrarnas bad, i poolen. Hände inte på något annat motsvarande hotell under våra veckor i Kalifornien. För övrigt ett mycket elegant SPA! |

Ett av de finaste hotell som jag vistats på. Spaavdelningen gjorde nog susen: man kunde bada I inomhuspool och sola på terassen, mitt I en storstad! (Man måste lägga till att hotellet ligger I ett av de bästa områdena I sf. Ganska nära till shoppingsgatorna runt Union Square. |

Access to the Nob Hill Spa is a fantastic perk. The staff is wonderful and extremely friendly. Rooms are large and we had a great view looking towards the park and cathedral. Location on Nob Hill is very central and convenient. The business center is a bit of a misnomer - it's really just a spot where people can print boarding passes as far as I can tell, but the 2 computers are antiquated and slow. Bathroom (at least the one we had) could use some modernization. |

We requested a high floor and northerly view and were given the top floor(12th floor) and a stunning view of the city, bay view in background and Christmas lit park by the Grace Cathedral. The room was immaculate-the maid must have stopped in at least three times while we were gone to freshen up the room. We were pleasantly surprised that the room was so amazingly quiet for being on the cable line. |

I stay at this property whenever I can; the staff is beyond responsive to my needs, & I always use the spa & bar for entertaining. My only problem was with booking.com itself. I needed to modify (not cancel) my original reservation, & couldn't do it on the booking.com site. Frustrated, I had to call the hotel to make the change so I wouldn't get charged. |

the location is perfect to visit the city, it's very quite and safe. You are just 5 minutes walking distance from Union Square and the cable cars stops are very close.The room (deluxe) was really big even for european standards. |

Size of the room was great. Staff was friendly, room very clean. Room Service closed at 10:00pm, way too early. And no vending machines? Much older crowd at the hotel. |

The staff was very helpful and courteous. Facilities were old but very nice. It is an old hotel, so it may not appeal to everyone. We loved the victorian style. |

Very nice hotel and courteous staff. Enjoyed capability to open windows for fresh air. Pillows need to be a bit firmer. Toilet was industrial strength and made too much noise when flushing. Room 311. |

It's a small hotel in the heart of one of the most desirable in-town neighborhoods in SF. Parking fees still expensive - but that goes with the neighborhood. |

The hotel is old but absolutely beautiful and the view over the City is something to see. Just remember you are on the hill and all walking is downhill with the up climb to get back. Great exercise! Coffee makers in the room would be nice. Yes, both mornings our telephone rang and woke us up. First morning only rang twice and the caller hung up before we got to the phone. Second morning the bell captain called at 8:45 a.m. asking if our bags were ready for pick-up. We were not checking out until noon for our afternoon flight. |

I found the staff very helpful and welcoming and everything functioned well. I found the parking expensive but when I commented on this, I was told that it was cheaper than a lot of other similar hotels in the city. I cannot comment on this as I was not in a position to compare. |

Friendely recepetion and quick luggage delivery to the room. Comfortable and spacious rooms with a nice view over the city. Fast room service from a well balanced menu. Price image lean towards the higher, but overall everything is well worh the money. |
