The Inn at Corolla Lighthouse  

The staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful. They were so sweet, we even received an upgrade and enjoyed a magnificent ocean view. Since it was our first time to the NC coast, this experience made it even more special. We also enjoyed going on Bob's Tours to see the wild mustangs. What an absolute treat. We highly recommend staying at this charming and very lovely Inn!

There was absolutely "nothing" not to like about this delightful Inn. However, there was one problem with booking. com that (thankfully) the Inn resolved. Our reservation date was incorrect and we were unable to change the date or cancel. I was forced to call the Inn and explain our dilemma. The Inn was so understanding and gracious in resolving any concerns we had. Booking.com needs to be a little more "user" friendly.

The Inn has a wonderful Innkeeper, a nice breakfast, a beautiful setting for sunsets over the Sound (or storm watching!) and close to the 4x4 beach. Many rooms are on the water and bikes are available for use. We felt it the perfect environment to enhance our fun.

The Innkeeper was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the quiet of our room and the peacefullness of the Inn location. We will definitely select this Inn for another vacation to the Outer Banks. Dan said they would be closed for off season, but hopefully when we travel on the off season, they will be open.

I like the friendliness of the managers and the room was quite large.

If anything, being totally out of season, I found it a little bit pricey and the room had no hot water the first night.

The location was excellent and having the shuttle to the other sites was a definite plus!

Walking to the rooms and anywhere else and fighting the spiders was horrific. All it would take is a person to sweep the webs away on a daily basis. When we checked in, our key to our room could not be located. When we wanted to use the bikes, the keys to the locks could not be located. The continental breakfast was pitiful. When we checked out, the rates were different than the reservations booked online. We did not receive 2 queen rooms with 2 queen beds pool side either. Our online reservation did not matter.

Good location, good option for a one friday night stay over to avoid saturday am traffic

It was convenient,however, when I booked it said it was for a king size bed and the room had two queens, which was acceptable. The bathrooom accommodations were tricky with no real shower stall.......also would have like the room to have a microwave. The breakfast was good and I would stay there again. I noticed I have been charged by booking.com as well as by the Inn on my credit card. I am hoping one of these charges will disappear.

Add a microwave to the room and fresher coffee condiments and that would be helpful.........

Great location! Check-in was easy. Beautiful view of the sound.

Overall the inn needs some updates. New bedspreads and towels would make a big difference.

Location only

It was old and dated. It had a musty smell and uncomfortable feel.

Convenient to activities in Corolla--quiet and peaceful.

Bed was too soft.
