The Inn at Corolla Lighthouse  

My stay was quiet, comfortable and very relaxing.

No restaurant in hotel, but do offer a continental breakfast,

I loved the view from the room. The breakfast was delicious.

I thought I was getting a room with a bed and a sofa, Instead I got a King sized bed.

Location was perfect, beautiful sunsets, and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Accessibility to great seafood restaurants. Not as crowded as some of the other areas around Nag's Head.

We enjoyed the view and overall feel if the hotel. Cute layout.

We felt it could have been cleaner. There were numerous squished bugs in the walls and ceiling. Additionally I think the bathroom could have been cleaned better. We noticed a build up around the sink taps in addition to a cup ring and dried spill on the toilet lid. Lastly we had coffee in the room and a couple creamers wee rotten.

We liked the location. Our room was quaint

The bed was very hard. There were too many stairs for my blind mother to negotiate. We did not have beach or water view. We couldn't even hear it.

staff was excellent. Breakfast was beyond what we thought it would be. View from room was relaxing.it was more than we thought it would be. Total relaxing. Although, I have to wear oxygen, it was worth the trip to our room..

Steps going upstairs were shaky

Staff and amenities were great. The uograde to a suite was unexpected but certainly appreciated. Continental breakfast was very nice with a lot of thought put into the selection of items. Just right for grabbing some coffee and a quick bite before getting on the water. The inn is on the sound which we like for windsurfing, kayaking and stand up paddle board. The public boat access "next door" at the Whalehead Club was also a nice feature.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean. King sized bed was very comfortable. View was breathtaking. Very quiet and serene. Amazing local food, fresh fish, fresh..unfrozen foods. Cute historic shops near light house and other cute small business shops. Free bikes. Horse tours. Golf/put-put. Cozy room with fire place. Romantic place. We plan to go back every year. You will fall in love with Corolla! Great for people who like a taste of life away from busy cities/counties. This is a small town with home owned shops, restaurants, bars. Everyone is so happy and nice and love what they do. Such a wonderful experience.

The location is great. Get a room facing the water. Some rooms have very poor views. Bed was very comfortable. Good breakfast.

The view from our room was beautiful. We were able to see the sunset over the water every night. The location was great, central to everything (shopping/restaurants/beach), or just a short drive to explore other towns.

The bed wasn't very comfortable and we had no hot water in the mornings. The heater/AC unit was very loud. The gazebo at the end of the pier had a lot of scraps, trash, and loose nails from where the roof was being repaired.

We went for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was perfect! The room was amazing, I actually gasped with excitement when we walked in! The view was right over the water and we could sit and watch birds and the sunset while we drank the champagne the hotel staff presented us with (on ice!)!! There are bicycles that are available 24/7 that we rode to the wildlife area, lighthouse and beach. The staff was very nice and we loved having breakfast with the other guests in the morning. We were made to feel welcome and all our needs were met! Loved it and will go back!

We chose early spring so the crowds would be down but unfortunately the downside was most shops and restaurants were closed. The few we found were wonderful! I was unable to kayak due to it being out of season and the weather was cold and stormy much of the time, but enjoyed everything else!!

If you dont get up early, youll be taking a cold shower!!!

The suite we rented was very well set up, large and cosy. The view from our window was right on the sound and breath-taking. Being Nov we enjoyed the hot tube while watching the sun set.

I'm a nut about cleanliness. There was finger prints and smudges on the windows and mirrors.

Waterfront location. Very close to the sand dunes. Good breakfast.

Contrary to Booking.com policy of no payment till arrival, they charged our credit card immediately for the 4 days that we booked and advised in the confirmation that the cancellation fee would be full payment for the 4 days. We arrived soon after hurricane Sandy, which also is in the off season which meant that almost all facilities in the area were closed for the season.. It was almost impossible to find open restaurants of any kind without a 20 mile drive. We decided after our first day to re locate to a more central location. we told them that we would stay for a second day and then leave. They apologized for the inconvenience but wouild not reimburse us for the 2 unused days.

The bed and room was comfortable. I liked the quiet AC unit.

I appreciated the dehumidifier but it would have been more effective if it had been emptied before we checked in.

A very relaxing atmosphere. The owners were fantastic: on site every day. Always spoke/asked if you needed anything.

The staff was very welcoming, and the accommodations reminiscent of a bed & breakfast.

The mattress seemed a bit tired, but the room was very nice.

The front desk was so friendly to my family and I. One of the staff members went out of his way to give my 2 year old son a brand new car toy while we enjoyed breakfast. It was really sweet and thoughtful. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
